So we tried a few by getting a taster tray. We got a sweet one and two others that were more on the dryer side. They weren't bad but all three had an after taste we couldn't quite pin down. In the end we thought it was maybe the kind of apples they uses or perhaps it was something they used or a method they used during the preparation process that made the difference but it was unfamiliar to us and we weren't sure what we thought about it. We ordered also from the appetizer part of the menu and got hushpuppies and liked those a lot. It had a dipping sauce, sort of a chili sauce you see at Asian restaurants that made a nice touch to this appetizer. The ladies that were working here were super nice and friendly. So with the good service and food Crush comes in at a solid four stars.

The Distillery is right off of the loops main road and features a gravel parking lot with ample space. Per its name, the distillery is known for its ciders and its fruit distilled spirits. Our group opted for one flight of cider, and one flight of spirits. For the spirits, we got two fruit vodkas, a gin, and an apple brandy. All four had a nice fruit essence on the nose. The vodkas tasted as you would expect and the gin had a semi sweet, lightly herbaceous taste. My favorite was the apple brandy which was sweeter with a more discernible apple taste. I did not drink too much of the ciders, but the others at the table expressed that they did enjoy them. They were light and not overly sweet, which is a plus for me, as I feel many ciders are too sweet. There was only one gentleman working behind the bar who was kind and executed our orders within a few minutes.

Although I didn't like some of the flavors, it's always fun to try all the different ones with my husband and compare our tastes. They have a few food items available to snack on while you have a cider inside or outside. The pretzel with cheese and mustard was ok. Cute concept and decor but unfortunately I wasn't a fan of most of their ciders. Dogs are welcome outside. Restroom available inside for customers only.

Working Hands was one of those and we noticed that this brewery specializes in lagers. We were very excited to hear this as we love lagers very much. I don't remember exactly what lager Steve got but it was a nice, crisp one as one would come to hope that this type of beer would have. It was tasty. And I knew exactly what I would be ordering. I saw that the brewery had a Mexican Lager which is one of my favorite kind of lager. So it didn't take much thought as to what I would be getting. The name of the beer was the Dorado Especial. Flavor features are what you would find in a lager such as this. A biscuity flavor, crispness and perhaps a touch of a corn flavor were at work here. It was quite tasty and very enjoyable to have. All of the breweries on our most recent trip here were quite good in fact.

When the buzzer went off we just kind of looked to her and she said ( i guess i can get your food) like wtf.. lol ok There were only like five people in there but she was to busy for us. Then after my boyfriend left a review the owner verbally assaulted him. I think if you are local or a friend this place is great otherwise i would never go in if you expect any kind of costumer service.

Sitting on the prairie, taking in the beauty of the orchard, vineyard, and grassy hills - it's the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening. We attended their end of the season / holiday event on 11/13/21 and had such a good time! Tasking flights weren't available since there were so many people there, but we created out own by purchasing a glass of six different ciders and sharing. The blackberry currant with hints of rosemary had me from the first sip and I ended up drinking most of that glass! And bought a growler to go. All of the ciders are dry; some take a few sips to really tune in to the flavors and with each sip, they get better. At the holiday sale they had a food truck making gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches which were the perfect accompaniment. And apple cider doughnuts. They made gift bags with a variety and quantity of ciders and added tee shirts or hand towels, all in cool patterns. Family and dog friendly! Im looking forward to the spring so I can go back and enjoy this beautiful venue in the spring, then summer and fall. Yep, I will be a regular! Until then, I'll enjoy their cider at several breweries and restaurants around Hood River and Portland, and will buy bottles at St. John's Marketplace in Portland.

On this side of the building, there are picnic tables, an old fashioned swing, a patioawith tables and chairs, and if you walk behind the guest cottage, two pens with frisky, comical goats! I love going back here in the spring when the peach and pear trees are in bloom. and again in the summer when their garden is full of hollyhock and other cottage flowers. It's delightful. They have several ciders and you can do a tasting or buy a pint. or even fill a growler. Ciders are good, definitely on the pricy side. When fruit is in season, they have bins of peaches, plums, nectarines , cherries, pears, apples - of many varieties. so fresh and delicious. Definitely worth stopping in spring through fall as fruit changes. Pricey, but good. The building also serves as a country market selling jams, jellies, hazelnuts, chocolate, snacks - most local - and other handmade items. I write a more thorough review a few years ago with lots of pics - and have no idea why it's missing. actually, there used to be way more than 6 reviews for this business so I wonder if it changed names or owners. Regardless, it's a great place to stop when you're out in Parkdale or doing the Fruit Loop.
