My 86 year old Pops was asked to get into the shower and demonstrate where he needed a grab bar placed and also asked to walk down the front steps so grab rail could be at just the right height for him. I have a detachable shower head in the shower and it was installed wrong so Aram was quick to fix and even install a bracket so the shower head could hang at a lower and more reachable level for Pops. Aram is an excellent communicator and arrived as scheduled late on a Saturday afternoon because I was only visiting my parents for the weekend. My blind 96 year old father was asked to get into the shower and demonstrate where he needed a grab bar placed. Aram gave him several options, testing many angles in order to determine which was the safest, most comfortable placement. Along with his assistant they then worked quickly to immediately install a new grab bar in my parent's bathroom. I asked about further grab bars or a pole in the bedroom and Aram did not try to upsell us on other products and further installations like others have. This is a review that's long overdue, but because of family issues, I've not been able to write it yet. In November, 2017, I had to move my elderly mother into a nursing facility in Burlingame, which meant my then-88-year-old father would be living by himself in their family home in San Mateo. He was frail, unsteady on his feet, and had severe vision impairment. But he wanted to remain in the house so he could live with his beloved cats, and being a still-smart guy (and one who modernized hospitals as a career), knew he had to make his bathrooms safe for himself. So I called several companies I found online, looking to install grab bars. Enter Aram. He came the same day (amazing, and rare, I found out) and was so intelligent, educated, well-spoken, and knowledgeable, that my dad and I both knew immediately that he was *the right guy* for the job. Aram asked my father a bunch of questions, measured him as he sat on the loo, and made numerous suggestions about grab bar size, placement and showerheads. He got to work, and swiftly installed everything neatly and perfectly. My dad was *thrilled* with the service, and although the price was what some may think a bit high (we didn't!!) it was absolutely worth every nickel, because Aram knew exactly what he was doing and made my father and I very comfortable. Aram's work enabled by dad to live continue to live alone in his house with his beloved kitties for almost another year, until he became too unsteady on his feet and had to also move to assisted living.
