Perfect post practice weekend activity. I took my 9 year old here after practice to relax and spend some 1 on 1 time together. It would be a perfect team bonding activity as well. The price point was great and the slime combinations are endless. The staff were super friendly too!

We were a little lost when we walked it since it seemed to be peak time and the place was packed. However, we were quickly acknowledged and given instructions. My daughter had a great time creating her own slime masterpiece.

This was such a fun activity for a hot afternoon! We made reservations and went with friends; the staff were great with kids, and we made slime without the cleanup. The options were super creative in terms of types of slime and scents and colors and mixins etc. Loved it!

I took my niece here and let's just say she had so much fun she wasn't ready to leave afterwards. She is a Spanish speaker first, however I'm always fine with translating, HOWEVER they were so nice and made sure they had the Spanish speaker employee work with her so she had the best experience which was so accommodating and just makes a world of a difference

From my 9yo: This place had an outstanding experience for tourists and visitors. It sparks joy in my sister's heart!!! It was a fun experience coming here!

Our kid loves slime and so we knew we had and check this place out. We came in and asked how it worked. They had the diy slime and also premade slimes. We selected the $27 DIY and they gave my kid an apron and we followed the steps on the wall. There were 10 steps, starting from picking your slime base, adding scents and color, mixing, and then adding the fun mix ins. There's a good amount to choose from with almost every color, scent, glitters, and textures. The mix ins were super cute as well. Our kid loved every moment of it! The staff were helpful and friendly with the kids. We don't feel rushed at all. Our daughter loved being able to add in the scents and color into the mixer herself. And she got plenty of playtime with the slime. Honestly wasn't sure about $27 for some slime, but it was worth it with all the time spent, the stuff added into it, and to see her having fun!

Amazing team , fun and enjoyable . Thank you for making this great way to keep kids entertained

I recommend not adding shimmery/glitter pigment (the step after choosing the scent). Hands completely covered in glitter!

5 stars for the custom experience, but not a fan of glitter after taking the slime home. !!! I recommend not adding shimmery/glitter pigment (the step after choosing the scent). When mixing the slime with gloves, there was no issue, but only using hands, your skin (and table) are covered in glitter! I have other glitter/shimmer slimes that spread some glitter, but not as much as this! The big white styrofoam "beads" also easily fall out, so I also don't recommend them. Custom slime experience for tall people/adults: Even though this is geared towards kids, there are two tall adult-sized tables - definitely worth trying for about $30 (tax included) per slime. My sister and I spontaneously came here for Galentine's, and it was so fun to make a slime :) There are limits for each customization, (usually 1-3 options) but there was enough variety for us to make a great scent, texture and color slime! The one option we didn't do was the "mix-ins" because we didn't feel they matched the rest of our specific slime, but we appreciated adding a scoop of sand instead. Thank you for being flexible :) I chose icee texture, peach scent (7 drops), shimmery pigment in white and light green, white and champagne glitter, white foam beads, a scoop of green sand, and 3 green grape charms as the toppers. You can request for everyone to wear gloves when mixing your slime. I highly recommend gloves and hand sanitizer. Your slime can last for months longer if you clean your hands and clean the surface before and after playing with slime (prevent bacteria and other microbes from growing on the slime). ! Remember to add the scent at the very beginning when you're choosing your texture. We missed the scent step and added it at the end. The mixer added some black color that was from a different leftover slime (not from my light green slime). Slime Kitchen, please clean the mixers well to prevent microbes and contamination. And please fix the glitter pigment issue.

Just popped in to have a little fun while walking around the mall. Was a lot of fun. Really friendly slime experts walked us through the process. Making the slime took about 30min, but it can go as quickly or slowly as you want.

    Fun @ Slim Kitchen!

My son absolutely enjoyed Slime Kitchen Corte Madera! The staff were wonderful and kind especially to the little ones. They have a variety of bases, textures, mix-ins and toppings. You can even purchase pre-made kits. We Wii definitely be back! Slime Lovers REJOICE!

Came with a couple kiddos. They had a good time. For one slime and a pretty quick experience, $27 seems a bit high.

I went there with my company to do a group project. We had 3 hours to finish. We were given a 4 x 4 clear glass sheet and our project was to use different types of glass to design a picture of a house utilizing different types of glass. At the end of the design, they fired up our glass pieces so that the glass pieces all melt together or how they like to say," Things get Fuzed." The learning curve is really easy. The only difficult part, as a first timer, was trying to figure out how each glass piece react to the heat. It's more science that I thought there would be in an art project. At first glance, working on a 4 x 4 glass piece may seem small, but once I started working with the glue, cutting glass, resetting, glueing and then repeat, all 3 hours went away in a heart beat. This was a real great place to build my team. It also gave me great insight in their personality. Everyone was so detailed oriented and wanted their art piece to be super perfect. So if you're in San Rafael, and are looking for something to do, check this place out.

Or do you just want to try something fun that you take away with you. You can do both here. With the Wonderful help of all the ladies that are there to assist you day after day, it is so easy. My girlfriend (BGE) surprised me with this for fathers day, and I found and made something I actually needed, and now its also beautiful. She made me very happy. So what is the big deal. Well. You can create your own personalized piece of art glass. You assemble the project and they fire it for you. Earrings, special tableware, jewelry, paperweights, all sorts of things. If you can imagine it, you can probably make it. You start with a base of your choosing, then you select from hundreds of types of colored glass pieces and start decorating. When your masterpiece is finished, you give it to them and they melt your glass pieces into your base. BAM ! ! ! Art is returned to you in just a few days. For what you get, it's not just art, but a memory. What great fun I had. Maddy the store manager was a great help, as were ALL the ladies that work there. And they explain the process and make it effortless. I prize my creation. Bravo. We shall return.

My beloved firstborn likes to paint, color, draw, do something creative. So I thought, why not have a party where they create something fun indoors? I searched online for art and kids party, and found the Art Maker Studio in San Rafael. And am I glad that I did! There's good info on Yelp and on their website, but what sold me is how responsive Renee was with my millions of questions via email. She answered quickly and was very organized about everything! There were different options for the kids art project for a party, and my daughter decisively opted for the jellybean mosaic art project. I tried to persuade her to choose the ceramic art or painting, but the idea of jelly bean mosaic captured her imagination and she was excited! There were 16 kids between the ages of 3-6 that took part in the art project, a few younger siblings hanging around, parents helping out with the party and art project, and the kids had such a blast! We brought our cake and snacks, some decorations, but Renee was ready with the tables, chairs, music selection, and lots of jelly beans We did the cake first since we brought ice cream cake, snacks, then the gallery and studio tours were fantastic! The older kids could totally envision being artists and putting their art up. It was fascinating and inspiring The art project itself was a lot of fun. A few kids even wanted to complete multiple jelly bean mosaic pieces, and what was so great is that they got to take their masterpieces home So if you're looking for something unique and creative for your kids and their friends to do during a birthday party, I can't recommend this place enough! I might even have my own birthday party for adults here one day.
