With the name Fuzed, I literally that it was Millennial Fusion Restaurant. Thank goodness it wasn't. Fuzed is a place where you can craft with glass. I went there with my company to do a group project. We had 3 hours to finish. We were given a 4 x 4 clear glass sheet and our project was to use different types of glass to design a picture of a house utilizing different types of glass. At the end of the design, they fired up our glass pieces so that the glass pieces all melt together or how they like to say," Things get Fuzed." The learning curve is really easy. The only difficult part, as a first timer, was trying to figure out how each glass piece react to the heat. It's more science that I thought there would be in an art project. At first glance, working on a 4 x 4 glass piece may seem small, but once I started working with the glue, cutting glass, resetting, glueing and then repeat, all 3 hours went away in a heart beat. This was a real great place to build my team. It also gave me great insight in their personality. Everyone was so detailed oriented and wanted their art piece to be super perfect. This a great place for kids and adults alike. Do you have an inner muse crying for you to explore your artistic talents? Or do you just want to try something fun that you take away with you. You can do both here. With the Wonderful help of all the ladies that are there to assist you day after day, it is so easy. My girlfriend (BGE) surprised me with this for fathers day, and I found and made something I actually needed, and now its also beautiful. She made me very happy. So what is the big deal. Well. You can create your own personalized piece of art glass. You assemble the project and they fire it for you. Earrings, special tableware, jewelry, paperweights, all sorts of things. If you can imagine it, you can probably make it. You start with a base of your choosing, then you select from hundreds of types of colored glass pieces and start decorating. When your masterpiece is finished, you give it to them and they melt your glass pieces into your base. BAM ! ! ! Art is returned to you in just a few days. For what you get, it's not just art, but a memory. What great fun I had. Maddy the store manager was a great help, as were ALL the ladies that work there. And they explain the process and make it effortless. I prize my creation. Bravo. We shall return. read more

What a special place for a birthday party! If you have a creative child and want do do something totally unique, this is the place. We had a great and easy party- everybody was so helpful. My daughter is very happy with her day. :). The girls made glass sun catchers. Very beautiful colors and materials to work with. The owner of the business is kind and patient with a positive attitude. She made the day special for us as well. Not to mention that the place is spotless which really helps showcase the possibilities. We hope to come back and create something fun to give to the grandparents on Thanksgiving like a pie-server. I really like glass creations. Located on the Miracle Mile in San Rafael, sometimes hard to find but worth the hunt. I circled several times to find the exact location. I passed by it for a few months thinking that it would be a fun place to do a little arty-craft. Now, the location is marked with bigger signage. It's really a fun creative place to work on glass projects. It's a unique, there are no other hands-on glass slumping locations in the north bay. The projects are numerous. You can make necklace pendants with high-quality silver necklaces as well as bracelets. Children can have a hands-on creative experience to make plates, nightlights, I Made it also has classes for kids, and they are developing lunchtime "make it" parties for people who want to take a break from work. Lynn and her studio are fabulous. Maddy the manager is extraordinary. This place is wonderful and the love is palpable. What these ladies have created is a treasure to the community. The reviewers who complained about the prices lack an understanding of what it takes to run a small business. I can't imagine the overhead of the 4th street retail space, staffing, insurance for people working with glass, the glass itself, and the cost of running a large kiln daily. I find their prices to be completely reasonable. You get what you pay for. Every gift we have given from I made It was made with love, and is absolutely treasured by the recipient. We made huge gorgeous serving trays, bookmarks, coaster sets, a nightlight, jewelry, I even made my husband some cuff links with secret little messages embedded in the glass. If you haven't been, go! The projects are pricey for kids... it was $35 to make a tiny glass hanging vase and another $22 to make a simple pair of earrings. (I actually ended up spending $30 because the prettiest glass is an upsell) If there were more possible projects for under $20, we would probably visit more often. read more

We hosted a preschool holiday party at I Made It today, and it was a fantastic success! Lynn and her staff made it easy and fun for both kids and adults. I spent a few hundred dollars there on various gifts and projects but no more. We made a $40 sun catcher and it broke into pieces. I heard from the staff countless times that none of the glass products have broken. This was a concern of mine and they assured me it was reasonably sturdy. This is not the case. I called them a couple months ago to sort it out but never received a return call. The pieces are too expensive to buy if they break so easily. I am disappointed. The staff is very nice. read more

This is one of my favorite places! We were recently on a trip to CA and we needed to find a rainy day activity. This was PERFECT! My 7 yr old son had a blast as did my husband and I. We completed our works of art only to find out that we might not be able to collect the finished product because we were leaving the area a few days later. The shop keeper was AMAZING! She was so sweet, and understood our dilemma so she arrived at the shop one hour ahead of their usual opening time a few days later so we could meet her and get our projects. By far and away the best customer service I have encountered in a long time. Pls open a shop in Boston!! I love the concept and wish we had one close to home. read more

I Made It! is such an amazing art studio. There are over 100 projects to make at skill levels ranging from easy to difficult. I took 3 little girls for a girls day out and didn't break the bank because the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Projects include everything you need to be able to complete them, including instruction and assistance if needed. All projects need to go into the kiln after completion and are ready for pick up in a few days. I don't know which part I like better... the fun of picking out glass to decorate my piece with, the soothing relaxation of assembling my project, the satisfaction of realizing that my piece is done, the excitement of seeing the finished project after the kiln, or seeing my masterpiece on the wall at home or actually wearing a stunning piece of jewelry that I actually made. Lynn and her staff are amazing. They will assist you through the process if you are a newbie or give you your autonomy if you know what you are doing. This place is kid friendly - and kids are given the space to make beautiful artwork. If you have ever bought art glass from an artisan, you know it can be pricey. I was anxiously awaiting their opening... they did not disappoint! A real gem of a place to get your creativity on! The owner and staff were super sweet, helpful, and knowledgable. Just walk in and they'll help you through making a one of a kind work of art. My 5-year old daughter was invited to a birthday party there. It was our first time and we had no clue what to expect. I was kind of worried how a bunch of 5 year olds would handle a rather seemingly complicated project :-) I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went!. The event staff was very experienced with kids and knew exactly how to grab the kids' attention and guide them through the project. I think these projects are perfect for any age groups or levels because you can make it as simple or challenging as you want it to be. What a wonderful place to spend a few hours and return for more. The owner and staff have a real passion for creating glass art that is both beautiful and functional. The studio is loaded with examples of projects that definitely brought out the artist hidden inside me. I have been back twice, this place is amazing and the owner and staff are so friendly and approachable. My first visit was for a team building exercise at work. We set up in the party room and got to work, the staff would come in and check in and answer all our questions. The second visit I took my girls and they loved the freedom, guidance and felt comfortable asking questions. They even had a PUPPY!
