Have an extended warranty on my vehicle and just received really bad service from the moment we dropped it off until to the moment where we received our vehicle back. There was horrible communication between Mopar and the dealership and with them giving us any information needed--we still haven't even gotten our issue resolved. It seems those two organizations don't communicate. It was also interesting because the dealership claimed that we had rust and corrosion (why they claim the warranty wasn't valid) but when we looked under our vehicle (only 3 years old) when we received it back, there was no rust or corrosion of the sort there. Just really an overall HORRIBLE experience. Would not recommend one bit. read more

We took our truck to Sliman's and we will never return! The Service Dept. did not know what their left hand was doing with their right. Extremely poor customer service and we ended up towing the truck out of there and taking it elsewhere. The tow truck driver told us that he has taken so many cars out of there. I recently needed Service work done on my vehicle, so I called and made an appointment for Friday February 28th. Upon walking through the door, I was greeted by Kevin, the Service Writer. He was very attentive listening to my needs, and assured me that they would take good care of my vehicle. Fifteen minutes into my wait, Kevin text me to let me know that this was his cellphone number and for me to text him if I had any questions or concerns during my wait. My vehicle was completed in a timely manner and at a very fair price. If you need service work done on your vehicle, regardless of the brand, you owe it to yourself to call Sliman's in Amherst. Fist off I want to say I found this dealership after a huge nightmare that I went thru with another Chrysler Dealership. It was never handled by them , but.... As they say everything happens for a reason. I have been having all my service done with no warranty all out of pocket thru Slimans and have never once had a complaint or left thinking wow that was bad service or maybe I didn't need the services performed that I paid for. This dealership is honest, customer service oriented and truly a great place to buy a vehicle, maintain and service a vehicle or get the right parts to do some work yourself. The staff is always smiling and informative. The lounge is stocked with baskets of grandma's cookies, and dozens of goodies to keep any palet happy. There is a Keurig to custom make your coffee, tea or hot chocolate. My kids really enjoy this as we wait in the comfy chairs, tables or private one seater desks to use there Internet to get some work done. There are plenty of televisions to watch any programs airing throughout and the wait is never long, or unpleasant. When they come out to get you the technician explains anything listed on invoice and any recommendations. The bill is always accurate and I have never ONCE had to return for work done incorrectly or not lasting. This is the worst car dealership in the area. After my 79 year old great grandmother went in to look for a new car, she left with a car that she couldn't afford nor liked. The renegade they sold her was a 2019 base model. She absolutely hated it and they still convinced her she wanted it. Apparently they don't have a 3 day exchange policy and she was unaware of it. They refused to work out more affordable terms for her or to fix their mistake of selling her a car she didn't want. I'm absolutely disgusted at the fact that when my 79 year old great grandma was sitting there crying because she didn't want the car they left the room and continued to play it out as her fault. Unfortunately, Slimans has been a very painful and aggravating experience for me. Untimely service, rude personnel, shoddy workmanship the list goes on and on. It starts at the top clearly. I spoke to the owner himself who promised to look into a matter of which he not only never communicated with me about... He as well as ANY Sliman's rep have still not resolved or attempted to resolve the matter. Long story made short is this. There were repairs made due to an insurance claim that we feel/felt are not satisfactory and as such we did not sign over the insurance check. Of course Sliman's denies the problems. At this point we already had repairs made elsewhere and just want to be done with them. They will not let us sign the check. We begged them to respond publicly on a Google review of which they have not (wonder why?)... We asked for them to publicly speak to us because I know they are not honest and want to have it in writing. Guess what, nothing! Sliman's will not call, email or speak to me regarding this matter. They keep sending me a bill for a check they have that just needs a signature but they won't produce the check nor contact me. My advice for anyone reading is stay away. Save yourself money, time, aggravation etc. and go with a company that you can trust. read more

I simply asked how the rental would be handled and he got an attitude with me and exclaimed that that is to be handled by someone else previously and that it's not his problem. Absolute HORRIBLE dealership and Service department. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in ADVANCE for service on a recall. Dropped my car of the night before to ensure they had ample time to complete a very simple recall (according to manufacturer 1 to 2 hours max time). In addition to dropping my car of the night before, scheduling two weeks out in advance, having the first appointment for the morning ( 9am), calling I called in advance to confirm the recalled part was in stock. Called at 4pm on the day of the appointment to check on status on my vehicle, was transferred to Travis Leonard. Travis informed me that my car has been sitting in the lot exactly where I dropped it off the night before (paraphrasing; he was much more nonchalant). My car, with a scheduled appointment, was NEVER looked at or pulled into the service bay. I expressed my disappointment. He continued to say you can come, pick it up and take it home. This attitude is completely UNACCEPTABLE by anyone's' standard. He was rude, unprofessional, and had no regard for the inconvenience, disappointment, failure to perform, poor customer service, and overall reputation of the dealership. After reading through the prior complaints about the service department; I am obviously not the only customer to receive POOR SERVICE. Left a voicemail for Paul Sliman explaining the situation. NEVER received a response. Obviously his lack of concern for customer satisfaction and reputation are NON-EXISTANT as well. Several other dealership to select from. STAY AWAY from SLIMANS. read more

The worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. I purchased a used Jeep and with in the first 2 weeks it was in the shop 3 times. On the 3rd time they said we wont fix it because it was an as is vehicle. The only problem is is that I told them of the issues immediately but they would rather worry about there profit margin than their customers safety. Called this dealership after dealing with a rude service guy at another dealership. First place was going to charge me $250 just to look at my van. Said IF it was covered under warranty, we wouldn't be charged that, but made it sound like it wouldn't be covered. Also couldn't get me in until Dec. Called Sliman's, talked to a very knowledgeable lady who said it would be $50 to look at my van, said that most likely what I was talking about would be covered under the warranty, and asked me if I could bring it in three days later. Dropped it off Sunday night, they called me at 11:30 Monday morning that is was completely done and no charge. Highly recommend-won't go back to the other dealer to buy a car or for anything else. read more

We went to buy a car today and we move from Puerto rico months ago cuz my husband had a work transfer and they just told us that they had one car that had what we wanted to the down payment we were gonna give and when we said well if we give more money what other cars do you have for me and the lady just said I'm sorry the owner doesn't like giving cars to people who move here from outside of us we were really hurt by that we feel like it was racist and discriminating what they did dint gave us any option i don't recommend this place to anyone ever !!! Best Stealership around! They'll take more money than they quoted and not do the work. Courtesy check is free cause they don't do it. Car could have serious safety issues, but they don't care. Won't stand by their word or do anything to help a customer. Service took over a week for simple computer scan/flash and new key. Parts pricing is even over corporate MSRP so you know it's good. Sliman's Sales & Service charges a minimum "diagnostics fee" of $110 on any vehicle brought in for repairs. When I asked them to diagnose a problem with my 2009 Dodge Journey's ignition system, they claimed they couldn't find anything wrong and they attributed the problem to a weak 12 volt battery. Sam's Club subsequently tested the battery and found it to be fully charged and in good working order--it was less than one year old. They then determined that the actual problem was with the lithium watch battery in the key fob. I replaced it and now, the car starts up just fine. When I confronted Sliman's about this, they insisted their diagnosis was correct, despite the test result readout from Sam's Club and they refused to refund my money!!! You would think they'd be smart enough to test the battery in the key fob if they're going to charge $110 for to diagnose a problem a Chrysler product's ignition system, but apparently not... Consequently, I disputed the charge to my credit card account. Sliman's Sales & Service is a shameless rip-off! Please spread the word!! read more

We scheduled an appointment to get a recall completed on our truck. The batteries died the morning of our appointment. We used our Jeep to jump the truck and arrived at our appointment on time. I explained that I thought the batteries were shot upon dropping it off (4+ year old original batteries). Even with our appointment it took the service department 8 days with our truck before it was completed. I am not sure the purpose of scheduling an appointment as other jobs seemed to take priority. I did end up buying new batteries through the dealer, which was a mistake. While the price of the batteries was not bad, the labor to install and reset codes was ridiculous. When I showed up to pickup the truck I suppose I was expecting a little relief on the labor cost since the tech had said "Ill make good on it" when my truck had not been touched for days after drop off. However that was not the case. I was charged for everything they possibly could charge me for ($563.11 for two batteries installed). I understand things happen but do not tell me you will make good on it then at pickup offer nothing more than an apology and explaining this was not a normal timeline. We will be taking our truck and Jeep elsewhere for future service and purchases. read more

We bought our brand new car in March of 2015. The sales person was extremely helpful and had no problems. In June of 2016 the power steering went out on my car and it had to be towed to the dealership. I was assigned a person who handles the go between the customer and the service dept.? Why? I don't know...I never actually spoke to anyone who serviced my car only to Devon who was the rep. She didn't know anymore than I did..I did not have any of my questions answered only a few phone calls from her telling me the part was unavailable and they ended up having my car for 8 days. When I picked up my car after hours due to my work schedule, the front desk attendant handed me the keys and pointed me in the direction of my car. My car was a mess, the grease from the body shop person was all over the door of my car and other places in the front where they worked on it. Of course no one was available for me to speak to in service so I left Devon a message. She responded by telling me that they only run it thru the car wash when requested...Seriously?? I have to request you to clean off the grease you left on there?..I can go to Wal-Mart and have my oil changed and they vacuum out the front section of my car...Just saying. I was very disappointed in the service I received. If I need anything else done I will find another Dodge Dealership in the area. read more
