My portion of this review is how they treated my brother-in-law when he picked up his car. Everyone also treated my husband and I as if we were customers. They spent time talking to us while they took care of my brother-in-laws transactions and pickup. Everyone was very nice.

I was in need of a hood ornament retainer for my '05 Cadillac Deville but couldn't find one anywhere. I found out it was discontinued. John in their parts department not only found one for me, he helped me (over the phone) to figure out how it installs. He went beyond the call of duty to help, and in a very friendly manner. I strongly recommend John and his department if you need parts for your Cadililac.

Notice the wear on the inside brake pad. It's metal to metal

5 months into ownership of this Cadillac Certified CPO 2020 Escalade and the brakes are worn down to the metal. The management at Central Cadillac are not willing to fix the vehicle unless I pay a partial amount towards the repair. Do not trust this dealership when they so call do the 172 point inspection that's required for a CPO vehicle. It's a shame but please check behind them before you sign off on the inspection sheet. My ambient lighting was not working, battery was bad(it had a AAA battery in it that they actually accused me of putting in my new to me vehicle that had bumper to bumper at the time.) Tire had and still has a small chunk out of the sidewall. Transmission pump was whining. Scratches all over the Escalade. Rear shocks / suspension squeaking. Yet all of these things were checked off on the inspection sheet. Now the brakes are metal to metal. Scott Bibb's answer "The brakes were not new when you bought the vehicle! It's not a new vehicle!". Well Scott it's a $60k vehicle that the owner shouldn't have to do any repairs within the first months of ownership. I've been warned after the fact about this stealership. So I will warn anyone reading this review, if you're looking for a dealership that stands behind their products after the sale do not choose Central Cadillac! You have been officially warned!

Just picked up the platinum Escalade from Central Cadillac.

Just picked up the platinum Escalade from Central Cadillac. After long convincing and persuasion they finally caved in and accepted my offer. Great guys to work with and fast timely service.

If you live out of the area, be prepared to not get pricing answers timely and pay a premium on a car.

My recent experience with Das Auto Carlot, particularly with the owner Mike, was extremely…read moredisappointing and stressful. I purchased a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder from the lot, and almost immediately after driving off, the check engine light came on. Mike directed me to two separate shops to have the issue fixed, but neither shop was able to resolve the problem. During this time, I made it clear to Mike that I am pregnant, with children already depending on me, and I urgently needed a reliable vehicle or at least a loaner while I waited. His solution was to offer to "go half" on a rental, but even then, he cheated me out of his portion of the payment. When I realized the Nissan could not be repaired in a reasonable time, I asked for my money back. Instead of being straightforward, Mike attempted to return less than half of the $3,000 I had paid. He then tried to pressure me into taking an old Buick as a downgrade, which did not have the seating space I required for car seats. He promised that it would only be temporary until a Honda part came in, but when the part arrived, he refused to switch me into the vehicle as agreed. Mike also made unethical demands, telling me that if I wrote him two positive online reviews, he would "work something out." I refused to be manipulated into writing fake reviews in exchange for service I was already owed. I kept thorough records of our interactions--text messages and recorded phone calls--so that I would have proof of how the situation was handled. If anyone doubts this, I am willing to provide evidence directly. To make matters worse, I discovered that Das Auto was attempting to resell the Nissan Pathfinder after claiming it had been sent to auction. When I brought this up, I was immediately blocked. Shannon, another employee, was rude and unprofessional throughout the process, while Chad and Mike's brother were the only ones who attempted to handle things respectfully and fairly. Chad in particular tried to ensure I got my refund, but it was clear Mike was the one holding everything up. Mike even went as far as to hold onto a check from Credit Acceptance that was in my name, and I later learned he had opened my mail without my permission, which is illegal. Only after my lawyer contacted the bank did Mike suddenly call me and claim my check was ready. This entire ordeal was stressful, manipulative, and dishonest. If you are considering purchasing a car from Das Auto Carlot, I strongly urge you to reconsider. My experience showed a pattern of dishonesty, lack of accountability, and disrespect for customers' rights and needs. The only positive part of my interaction was with Chad and Mike's brother, who at least tried to do right by me. Unfortunately, the owner himself proved untrustworthy, and I would not recommend doing business with him

My experience is this:…read more Asked when to drop my vehicle off letting the owner know precisely what will need to be done and to alleviate having the car gone for weeks and weeks. Dropped the car off on a monday morning as agreed. The "gentleman" that lives across the side street from the garage scampered out of his house a little after 830 (garage opens at 8 supposedly) to open the shop. Took my keys and wrote my name and phone number on a piece of paper. "We'll give you a call". I waited about a week. Nothing had been done. second week, some testing had been done but no real work that needed done regardless. after about 18 days, they started working on it and when I called on the 22nd day, I'm told what they quoted me for (renewed and working braking system) wasn't actually going to cut it and they missed something that they noticed after driving the vehicle......who doesn't drive the vehicle beforehand? The other repair (repaired gas tank) was done from an outside shop so, therefore was an easy uninstall and install from this shop....a dozen or so bolts. The guy tried to sell me a rebuilt engine for 6500 (no installed) that a "trusted friend" had sitting around. The going rate for that engine is about 4000 rebuilt. another 2k to install professionally. I told him this and the guy gets back to me and said he went down to 3500. This guy didn't even bother to examine what was actually wrong with my engine. Not a bolt was turned in that effort. Just thought he could skim a couple grand from someone with some money..... I got upset that the brakes weren't completed as promised and the guy has nothing but attitude. "I tell you what we can do. You come pay me and get the car and take it somewhere else". Complete idiot.

Contact OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL/BBB to complain and hopefully get something back. My wife Pam bought a car from them a week ago and since then found they are scumbag scammers taking advantage of people. Josh B told her that she had to put down $4000 in order to get approved, or she could put down $2k, but she had to purchase a warranty for $2950, and "Gap Insurance for $950 to cover if totaled and insurance did not pay full loan amount. I told him loan companies do not make you buy warranties, and he insisted they did or she would not get loan. We decided just to get it and move on. He lied 4 times costing us like $7700 in damages A few days later I called "Credit Acceptance Corp" of which the representative assured me it was the dealer was the one that decided that and the insurance, and told her to cancel it. She understood and every penny. She stated the dealer would get all fee's from the payment of these. She also stated the dealer was the one to say how much money down as well. That was why he said they only accepted cash down payments so I would not cancel payment, so he obviously lied about that as well. Then I look at the total price value of the car, and he increased it from $10395 to $11995, or $1600+ higher without even telling us. I called and asked Omar A, the GM and son of owner, told me the value was increased by the finance company also because of her bad credit and they did it. NO, I called them and they told me already that it was you, not them. He offered to take car back, I said no way, you are not getting off that easily. Sad to know these people are in business doing this to all those unaware people, forcing $1000's in extra costs and fees for things not even needed. Last but not least, the rate of interest of %19.99 APR is negotiated by both dealer and finance company, of which the dealer pushes for as high as possible because they get a big portion of that. They have not heard the last from me!

They were extremely rude and disrespectful to her. The owner assured her the car was in a great running shape. He said It had a 2021 inspection and it was running great. They wouldn't let her test drive the car because they were closing in 30 min. Either buy it as is or it would be sold by Monday. She really needed a car after she was just in an accident and she needed to get to work. Feeling desperate and not having someone with her that knows about cars, she bought it. They sold her the car and it didn't have any gas. She discovered the dash lights were on for ABS, check engine light and low tire pressure. The car also had something wrong with the transmission and it wouldn't go over 10-20 miles per hour. It kept stopping and going. She tried to return the car Monday morning and the owner refused to take it back. He refused to give her money back and instead gave her a different car that was worse than the one she initially bought. He didn't apologize and he said he didn't have to do shit for her. The second car was also on E with no gas. Eventually he threw $5 at her after she explained she gave them all of her money due to him being dishonest about the price of the truck. Extremely rude and unfair, he stole her money and sent her on her way with a unsafe vehicle. Beware he treated a woman very badly.

I was also assured that if I wanted to qualify for a better car selection, I'd need a co-signer. I called a woman who works in the car industry for years. She strongly suggests that if you are trying to rebuild your credit, go to the big chain dealerships... Liberty, Ganley, Motor Cars, etc. They have programs "special financing" for those who are trying to get a reliable car without the insane miles and who don't have the best credit. Dealerships like this will just put you in cars that are on their last leg. I wanted to see what they had and was disappointed in how management specifically treats potential customers. Bottom line, people need cars and may just take a chance with dealerships like these. Be careful.
