Terrible customer service the food is still good but customer service is horrible starting from the owner to the general manager,and finally the employees that work in the store.If you have a concern about anything dealing their service,they will contact you by email and promise you a giftcard,but you will never receive it,I guess they are trying to keep you from complaining to others about your experience. Love the fried mushrooms but everything else was super greasy and flavorless. I've tried this place three different times- not impressed.

Always love a good slim chicken strip. Went through the drive thru to pick up some lunch which took a while but those tenders are worth the wait. Got kinda anxious about ordering but the people were friendly and wiped away my nerves. Fries... A+. Toast... A+. Chicken... A. I personally prefer Canes but this place is a close second. read more

my husband and i love slim chickens(it is our favorite chicken place to go too). when i drove 30 minutes to the nearest slim chicken restaurant to get dinner i was very disappointed when i drove another 30 minutes home to realize my order was rung up wrong which then reaulted in it being prepared and served wrong. (i went thru the drive thru window) the lady at the window said she got confused on an order like three cars ahead of me and now they are trying to get everything figured out. ok i get it mistakes happen (no big deal). my problem is i ordered a 5 piece meal shaken in honey bbq sauce with sweet red chili dipping sauce. when i got home i had plain (way over cooked) strips. no bbq sauce at all. no straws for our drinks. so disappointed in this trip to slim chickens. read more

Will never go back. I order very big orders when I do go. I usually order at least twice a month from this location. I have always received great service from this location but the last few times have been short product when I order. Either from tenders or sides previously. The last two times that I went I was giving the Mac and cheese sides half full. I didn't say anything the first time but the second time I pointed it out to the staff and asks if they could be full like the first 25 times I ordered this product. Well I was told by the manager that the appropriate portion sizes were in the containers and I was wrong. So I guess the price of 4.99 for a total food cost of .90 cents was only for half full containers. Thanks but no thanks. I will bring my 70$ orders somewhere else read more

Wanna declare Jihad on your arteries? Better hit your Doc up for an Rx for cholesterol after a meal here. I opted for something semi-healthy and went with the buffalo chicken salad. Glad I didn't add any dressing, as the salad was very "wet" from the blue cheese and wing sauce. Speaking of wing sauce, the first bite was good but quickly turned very salty. I tried the wife's chicken strips. The were dripping with grease. Same thing with the fried pickles. Guess I don't get all the hype about this place. Is it simply the novelty of it being new? this place was surprisingly great. it had great customer service. great quality food. and overall a great environment. this place almost reminds me like a raising canes but about a step above quality wise but same price wise. The lady who is the manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We won a catering party for our office at the library and I fell in love with this place. Their potato salad is unmatched and their macaroni and cheese is the stuff of dreams. Their fried pickles were the best I have ever tasted. Their dipping sauces are so good!! And of course, their chicken is good too. We have used them since then because the prices are good and the good is so good. Am really a big fan if their peach tea too. I moved here a few months ago and discovered this place. I LOVED it at first, but over the last couple of months I have been greatly disappointed in the quality of the food. I ordered an 8 wing plate and received 7 wings with a heaping pile of fries covering them. One of the wings had a really long hair wrapped around it... I decided to let it go, because it was busy. Well last night I got the same order. I got the correct amount of wings, but they were no bigger than my thumb. And there were only 17 fries, I counted because it was SO little. Stopped at this location as I came into town for work. The name and new building drew me in. I agree with other posts the restaurant reminds me of Raising Canes or PDQ in terms of taste. On the plus side the restaurant was clean, had plenty of beverage selections and coloring utensils for kids, and the extended dipping sauces. I tried the sweet and spicy and found it to my liking. The downside was the disappointment in the size of the tenders themselves. Overall was pleased with the experience and would go back for another meal. read more

My first (and last) visit to the new Slim Chickens on Troup Hwy in Tyler Texas was 09/19/2016. I ordered the tenders plate with fries. Service was fast & polite. The tenders were overpriced, had almost no batter of any kind, were not seasoned in any way, the blue cheese and the ranch dipping sauce was thin & watery, and the fries were soggy.
