I ordered online and when I went to pick it up, the food was made quickly despite it being incredibly busy, props to the team! I got myself a Chicken Tender meal with some honey mustard, and wow, the tenders were delicious, the fries were crispy, and even the toast that came on the side wasn't soggy or weird. I feel like my only issue with Slim Chickens is that their special sauce (Slim Sauce) is incredibly... bland? We ordered it out of curiosity, and when we had a dollop of it with fries, it tasted like nothing at all. First time ever visiting a slims and it was pretty tasty! I would describe Slims as similar to Canes but with more variety. Visited on a weeknight and opted for a 3 and 3 meal and a strawberry cheesecake mug dessert. The 3 and 3 was just enough variety with three wings in the sauce of your choosing and three fingers. It also came with two pieces of toast and fries. The toast and fries were way more than what was needed and I probably would've preferred slightly larger chicken tenders. Although the chicken was tasty, I would say the tenders I got were better described as nuggets and tenders. The wings and sauce were very good. I got the Parmesan garlic and was surprised that it included actual grated Parmesan cheese. The cheesecake jar dessert was delicious. Originally I thought it was a bit pricey at eight dollars but it is some thing that could easily be split by two or three people. I went through the drive-through, so can't speak to the restaurant inside or the service, but the drive-through service was pretty fast, and the employees were very nice. Overall, I was pleased with the food and experience, especially since it's a drive through chicken shop. I could see myself returning for a quick meal or something on the go. read more

Amazing chicken. Avoid ordering online. After more than a year of frequenting this restaurant it is infrequent that I arrive at the promised time to find my food ready. Perhaps I am not lucky. Instead, we get to wait in the order line to pick up the order ordered online. Best use the drive through. read more

We recently came back from a trip to Minneapolis and my daughter was raving about a rival chicken place. We were recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. My daughter got a chicken strip basket and I got a chicken sandwich. We didn't know what sauces to get and the very friendly staff recommended the slim sauce. It didn't disappoint! Such great food and did I mention the sauce! Good value too! We were going to get it to go but the ambiance was so nice we decided to stay. Love the rock music and guitars on the wall. read more

My experience there was beyond comprehension. I ordered a simple 2 piece order in the drive thru, and luckily only had to wait 40 minutes between the time of ordering and actually receiving my order. Sorry, not my order. HALF of my order. When I finally arrived at the pickup window, I saw inside what appeared to be a brewing gang fight between a group of middle aged truck stop hookers and their opposition, a handful of street youths that looked ready for a fight. The argument seemed to revolve around the fact that X wasn't anyone's job and Z wasn't their job either. The screaming fight continued as a haggard bridge troll yanked open the window and screamed, "What's the NAME?!?!" I told her my name and she grabbed the nearest bag of semi edibles and threw it at me. It wasn't until I had arrived home that I realized that less than half of the dead bird meat I had paid good money for was actually in the bag that had been thrown at me. I'm trying to think of the most succinct way to put my experience; I would not return to this Slim Chicken's location if they were giving away free gold bars with every order. terrible place food is ok but found a earring inside food called the store just to let them know manager told us to come in she made a whole fuss how nobody wears earrings over there.I literally saw people with earrings then she proceeded to say they arent in the kitchen even though she said nobody back there wears earrings all we wanted to do was let them know nothing else.She had people come just to waste gas and energy just to say nobody wear earrings over there. She act like she couldn't say it over the phone.She was also very rude about it but yea found the earring under the chicken its just really nasty to have someone worn earring in your food like idk what that person might have. read more
