I've been to Slim Chicken's three times now and can say with confidence, if you come here while you're blasted, order the 3 of 3 meal (3 wings, 3 tenders), Slim Chicken's will feel like you're reading a book that you know will change your life for the first time. The wings (the saltier sauce/rub you get the better, I got the garlic parm wings) and Mac and cheese are divine, the spicy tenders are an underrated flavor power house for how simple they are and make me want want to try their spice rub on the wings next. The tenders are solid, but it's hard to recommend them after trying the wings. the wings just bring out so much flavor and depth to be missed, especially for a fast food/casual joint (it's prob the msg talking; msg never hurt nohody and is always welcome). the wings bring so much flavor, not only to the meat itself, but to the sauces/rubs they are tossed in. get the wings. or, if you're curious and want to try for yourself, get the 3 of 3 meal and do it up yourself (which is a lot of fun), but I really think wings are the way to go with this location. As for the service, I've read a lot of reviews and I'm starting to think people just forget how to respect other human beings. workers are busting their rears to fulfill multiple complex orders at once, sometimes with a skeleton crew it looks like. do customers forget how stressful a fast food kitchen can be, especially a chicken joint? cut these wonderful people some slack, they are not being rude, they are trying to fill orders as fast as possible while dealing with large, complex orders with countless and confusing sauce options and combinations. Have some empathy people. Our server was stern but never rude, and always clarifying. the other workers were lively and polite. they knew what they were doing and to mention the fact that our order was fairly large and complex, not a single thing was missing, out of placed, or "wrong." everything was perfect and that has to count for something. the interior is modern and fairly average, it's clean and spacious and gives you plenty of room to talk with friends. if you come here sober, it's a cheap, surprisingly health conscious (very open about calories and macros), rock solid, and reliable chicken joint that can make your last 15 bucks in your checking account feed you until your next paycheck. Maybe that's why they call it Slim. still, get the wings. read more

The food was absolutely delicious and amazing! Although I ordered it online, I would definitely do so again because it matched every single review and every single photo that I have seen. I can't wait to be back in the Fargo area again to order this deliciousness. A+++ read more

I ordered online and when I went to pick it up, the food was made quickly despite it being incredibly busy, props to the team! I got myself a Chicken Tender meal with some honey mustard, and wow, the tenders were delicious, the fries were crispy, and even the toast that came on the side wasn't soggy or weird. I feel like my only issue with Slim Chickens is that their special sauce (Slim Sauce) is incredibly... bland? We ordered it out of curiosity, and when we had a dollop of it with fries, it tasted like nothing at all. It is something you get if you just need your food to be slathered in *something* and don't want the sauce's flavor to get in the way. read more

First time ever visiting a slims and it was pretty tasty! I would describe Slims as similar to Canes but with more variety. Visited on a weeknight and opted for a 3 and 3 meal and a strawberry cheesecake mug dessert. The 3 and 3 was just enough variety with three wings in the sauce of your choosing and three fingers. It also came with two pieces of toast and fries. The toast and fries were way more than what was needed and I probably would've preferred slightly larger chicken tenders. Although the chicken was tasty, I would say the tenders I got were better described as nuggets and tenders. The wings and sauce were very good. I got the Parmesan garlic and was surprised that it included actual grated Parmesan cheese. The cheesecake jar dessert was delicious. Originally I thought it was a bit pricey at eight dollars but it is some thing that could easily be split by two or three people. I went through the drive-through, so can't speak to the restaurant inside or the service, but the drive-through service was pretty fast, and the employees were very nice. Overall, I was pleased with the food and experience, especially since it's a drive through chicken shop. I could see myself returning for a quick meal or something on the go. read more

Amazing chicken. Avoid ordering online. After more than a year of frequenting this restaurant it is infrequent that I arrive at the promised time to find my food ready. Perhaps I am not lucky. Instead, we get to wait in the order line to pick up the order ordered online. Best use the drive through. read more

First try for slim chickens! Let me say the attitude was super sucky and the food took so long. Forgot my Vanilla shake and went inside just to be met with 'she didn't even order a vanilla shake' mind you it's on the receipt. read more

We recently came back from a trip to Minneapolis and my daughter was raving about a rival chicken place. We were recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. My daughter got a chicken strip basket and I got a chicken sandwich. We didn't know what sauces to get and the very friendly staff recommended the slim sauce. It didn't disappoint! Such great food and did I mention the sauce! Good value too! We were going to get it to go but the ambiance was so nice we decided to stay. Love the rock music and guitars on the wall. read more

They forgot my cajun ranch. That's all I was looking forward to. Service was a little slow but just didn't look like many people working.

My experience there was beyond comprehension. I ordered a simple 2 piece order in the drive thru, and luckily only had to wait 40 minutes between the time of ordering and actually receiving my order. Sorry, not my order. HALF of my order. When I finally arrived at the pickup window, I saw inside what appeared to be a brewing gang fight between a group of middle aged truck stop hookers and their opposition, a handful of street youths that looked ready for a fight. The argument seemed to revolve around the fact that X wasn't anyone's job and Z wasn't their job either. The screaming fight continued as a haggard bridge troll yanked open the window and screamed, "What's the NAME?!?!" I told her my name and she grabbed the nearest bag of semi edibles and threw it at me. It wasn't until I had arrived home that I realized that less than half of the dead bird meat I had paid good money for was actually in the bag that had been thrown at me. I'm trying to think of the most succinct way to put my experience; I would not return to this Slim Chicken's location if they were giving away free gold bars with every order. I would rather lay down next to their establishment and starve than dare to order from them again and have to suffer through my experience again. read more

She act like she couldn't say it over the phone. She was also very rude about it but yea found the earring under the chicken its just really nasty to have someone worn earring in your food like idk what that person might have. read more
