Cant believe people were waiting in line for this. Waited 35 mn for the food to arrive. Appearance was fine on my 5 strips/5wings order but thats where it ends. Wings lukewarm at best and dry. Korean bbq sauce was fine. Mango habenero sauce was good. Strips were also luke warm, soggy and lacked flavor. Person with me had the spicy chicken sandwich which she described as "okay". I would take Hardees chicken strips or DQs over this any day of the week. Next thing, place is filthy, garbage laying around, the trash bins overflowing, the area with pop and condiments was filthy, the list can go and on. I get it, new place- go try it out but this was f'ing horrible. I will never return. read more

I was unsure about this place at first. It was very busy and hard to find somewhere to sit. We found a table and food did not even take long to get. It doesn't look like much at first but these were the best chicken tenders I've ever had. The wings were good but not as great as the tenders imo. The fries were really good too. If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm gonna do two point of views I've had. 1 as a former employee and 1 as a customer. Employee: When I got hired they were all over the place, bad pay, nasty kitchen/ "back of house", very rude and unprofessional employees + managers. I remember I ate raw chicken not knowing it was raw and the managers didn't believe me and wouldn't let me leave to go to the doctor until I was puking horribly and crying tears. They also hired me saying I would get 7am- 2pm shift and I closed there for 2 months. The managers are always on there phones. Mouthing off to employees. Talking bs about customers behind their back + they do nothing to help employees figure out situations/ schedules exc. One specific manager is always outside in the back smoking and never comes in. Also the 2nd week of working an employee stole my wallet including my debit card, id, $100 cash. And the managers said "there's no cameras" then I contacted police and there was indeed cameras they just didn't wanna show me who stole my stuff. They also never fired the person who did. Customer side: I came in 3 weeks after I quit. They did not recognize me which is fine. I ordered a classic meal (4 tenders, fries, toast) with a regular drink, hot and cayenne ranch sauce and a strawberry desert jar. They gave me 1 tender and a half of one. Maybe a half portion of fries which they aren't supposed to do and no toast. It was freezing cold and I waited 45 minutes when they weren't even busy. Didn't receive my jar at all and when I asked for it they said I never purchased one and that my receipt was "old" obviously it's old after waiting an hour. I threw it all away and will never come back. Awful ghetto employees. Rude management. And no one knows what they're doing. Don't come here. read more

Welcome to Mankato!! Visited on their second day open. Very busy, but very well staffed. Lots of training going on, but they managed to keep the line at bay. Had the "5 & 5" ( 5 wings, 5 tenders with fries and pop). Tasty buttermilk breading on the fingers. Buffalo sauce had just a bit of kick and good flavor, and will definitely get the Korean BBQ again. Upgraded the fries to fried pickles, which had a nice coating of cornmeal breading. Will be going back again to try some of the other sauces. read more

Honest truth here: I just waited around 20 minutes for my food in the drive through. I got one of the 3 sauces I asked for. My bread is just straight up floppy. My chickens sooooo mid, the fries look and taste like my 2 year old sister was inciting an experiment. I wish there was a no star button but since I want to publicize this I guess I can give it a star. Canes might literally blow Slim Chickens out of the water. But that wouldn't make sense because the fries and "toast" seem like they were soaked in water. 14.63 down the drain, but hey, you live and you learn.... NOT to go to slim chickens. First time at a slim chicken and no one in line, went about 11:30. Lady at the window very nice. I waited for 8 and half minutes for a Cayenne chicken meal and of Course going through drive-through, grab your food and drive. I started eating my food, but I noticed something, my bun was partially froze. french fries were oblong I had more that were less than 1 inch and 3 inches my fries were cold also, why did I wait 8 1/2 minutes for a cold meal? read more

I think the food is decent. Little less food than canes for about the same price. However, going inside was chaotic the time I did, no lemonade and it seemed like employees were confused. I chalk it up to them working out the problems the first few months of starting up. I went again through the drive through and only negative I took away was that it took a bit to order and get my food but nothing too intense. The sauce was legit the ranch and honey mustard chefs kiss, the mac cheese was yummy too, but I paid 35.00 for 12 chicken tenders that I now know why they are called slim chicken cause these birds was teeny tiny we had to supplement with quick trip chicken to feed my teenage girls. read more

did an online order thinking going in to pick up the food would be faster, i was wrong. went in on a saturday and the place wasn't that busy and they were completely backed up because of the drive threw. the manager had no idea what was going on, she was just standing around. told us that we would be waiting for awhile because the manager didn't know how long until they would be serving again. if the business is going to be swamped because of drive three then shut off online ordering because we waited for our food for 40 minutes. finally a new manager stepped up and started telling people what to do and to stop screwing around. the food tasted old and not fully cooked. read more
