Went here on a Sunday to grab lunch as a break from a road trip. The staff was super friendly, upbeat, and interacted great with the kids. The food was very good as always at a Jersey Mike's and prepared pretty quick. The only thing knocking it down a little was that it was pretty warm in the restaurant, but in their defense, the sun was shining right in through the large front windows. Jersey Mike's is a chain... but it's the closest sandwich to home from me. I'm from NJ, but have lived in MN for almost a decade. When I don't know what to eat for a quick lunch, and there's a Jersey Mike's nearby? Easy answer. My order is always a #6, roast beef & provolone. Hold the lettuce, add pickles. The rosemary and oil/vinegar blend is correct, in my book. Bread is great, meat is freshly sliced. If you sign up for their rewards, you get a free bday sandwich. Of all the chain sub shops, Jersey Mike's is by far my favorite and this location does an amazing job representing them. They're quick, accurate, and friendly. I love their philly subs, and their cold subs served Mike's way are delicious too. 7-23-17 update.... JUST DO NOT call ahead or place an order online. Unfortunately they simply are unable to prioritize or make their queued orders correctly. We hadn't been back for several week since our last experience but decided to try it again today. I called ahead, spoke with a very pleasant gal who said they would have it ready in :15 minutes. I got there :20 minutes later only to wait at the counter to be acknowledged for another :05 to find out the order hadn't even been started. Then they made one sandwich the wrong size, so I had to wait for the second one... So same bottom line as last time: great subs, sucks that they aren't more kind about messing something up right there at the store, but will never order ahead again. They are just not equipped to prioritize the order stream unfortunately. ........... [Previous Experience Update] The owners were very gracious and were genuinely concerned that our experience there had not been to their standards. I really appreciated that they took the time to reach out. [Previous Experience] We visit here pretty regularly and hands down they do have the best subs and wraps around, but today's customer service was pretty bad ... AND ultimately our order wound up being prepared wrong. I've been calling for almost :20 to let them know and now only get a recording that says this phone number (507) 779-7200 hasn't setup their mailbox. That's fine, I wouldn't want voicemails either but I don't think someone should just take the phone off the hook which is what I now suspect given that the girl I placed our order with told me it was going to take 25-30 minutes to prepare 2 sandwiches because they were in the middle of trying to fill a big catering order. What?!?! Seriously. Who tells a customer that. Then trying to be respectful of the situation I ask her if she had a long line in the store as well. After thinking for a second she laughed, said yes, and that it was busy. Ironically my husband was outside the front doors just walking in and said there were a told of three people in the building. That left a really bad taste in this customers mouth!!! We'll definitely order there again, and hopefully this was just a bad day for girl who's name will not be mentioned but it's disappointing when it's been so good this far. read more

I would've given this a no star of I could've!!! I love Jersey Mike's!! I've ordered the Big Kahuna for years and was really looking forward to one tonight!! This was the first time that I had been to this location and I ended up leaving before I even ordered. There were only 3 people there who had already ordered. When we walked in we were told that they would get to us in a minute. We watched the cashier talk to one of the 3 people who had already ordered and paid for 10 minutes while we were ignored by the other person behind the counter as well. We weren't acknowledged at all from the time we were told that they would be with us soon until we left. They didn't even try to acknowledge us as we discussed where else we thought we might want to eat and we walked out of the door. I would be totally understanding about waiting if there had been a line or if there had been more customers but this was clearly a situation of employees not giving a crap about customers and the business that they work for. read more

Why would you go anywhere else for a sub? You order roast beef, and they slice it right there in front of you! So fresh, so good! Subway is processed grossness, the owner of Jimmy John's is a d-bag trophy hunter.... This is the only place to get a sub in Mankato! Erberts and Gerberts is ok, but, for my money, Jersey Mike's is the place to go. read more

I have gone here a couple times on our way through Mankato. They are always very helpful and quick and the sandwiches are delicious.

I will not frequent this establishment again after the service I received. The young man was rude and clearly annoyed that I came in even though I was the only one there at the time. I wanted a #9 no tomatoes and a drink and all I got was attitude so I just decided to not order and leave. read more

I have been going to this Jersey Mikes for the last 2 years and I have been there about 50+ times. In my experiences there, I have never been disappointed. I am always pleased with not only the food they serve but also the services that comes with it. The staff there is about the nicest staff you can find. They really do their best to make you feel like family there and you don't find that ery often in todays food industry. I don't go to Jersey Mikes much for their cold subs. I always find myself ordering a hot sub when. Jersey Mikes cold subs are pretty good and everything there is so fresh. If you order a cold sub, they cut the meat right in front of you. My favorite subs there are the Philly cheese steaks. You could order any philly on that menu and be extremely satisfied with it. I dont know what it is or how they do it, but their phillies are unreal. I love this Jersey Mikes so much that i make it a point to come back every week. Highly reccomend read more

Best sandwiches I've ever had. Very close to Erberts & Gerberts here in MN, which is HIGH praise. Get it Mike's way with all the goodies. I love the staff they are relaxed and seem like they love their jobs. They actively engage with the customer and make small talk which I'm OK with. read more

I was overall happy with my first experience at Jersy Mike's. The employees were very friendly and good at giving me recommendations. The food is as super fresh, I like that they slice the meat right there. It was also very clean and had a nice ambiance. So why not the 5 star rating you may ask. Well I got the chipotle cheese steak which was awesome however the bread was soggy by the time I got home and having only finished half the sub, let's just say it didn't get better with time. I would definitely try this place again but maybe with the cold sub next time. read more

I am from the East Coast and this is the only place I have found in Mankato that can make a good chicken cheese steak, East Coast style. They are always on time. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they don't deliver. Bravo! read more
