In a town of amazing pizza, Pagliai's stands alone at the TOP of the mountain! Cheese glorious, cheese! Plenty of staff to crank out the eat in orders. A nostalgic place like this should have Coke products, but I didn't come here to drink soda. They have 6 beers on tap, including Modest, a twin cities best in class craft beer. read more

Pagliai's Pizza - Plenty of staff to crank out the eat in orders. - Pizza Near Me - Mankato, Minnesota

Pagliai's is a very busy place with fabulous pizza! Even the cheese bread is a must to get! We had 1/2 Sweet Heat and 1/2 "B" special. It was divine! The flavors and seasonings are perfect and the service is fast considering how busy they are. It's a small place with big flavors, fast and friendly service that you don't want to miss! Great for take out or dine in! read more

Terrible customer service. Gave them a chance after the first round of nonsense. Just walked in and walked out today. I don't care how good their pizza is. 1. Their staff is rude; 2. The pizza comes all sloppy and a hot mess in the box; and 3. "Za" is right across the street and they make NY style pizza. read more

We were traveling through New Ulm. We ordered a pizza over the phone and when we picked up the pizza we got back on the road and got out of town before we started eating it. Found out they had given us the wrong Pizza. read more

We've been to Pagliai's way too many times without writing a review, so here it is. This place has two of our favorite pizzas that we've ever eaten. My wife loves a good Taco pizza and they have the best we have experienced so far. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger. They have Al the classics and we have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. My son is not a big pizza fan and orders their pasta and sandwiches/subs and loves them. Service is solid. They have a small selection of domestic and even local brew beers. They also have a nice selection of ciders if you're into those. It is a classic pizza joint. Don't expect any fancy seating or decor. The pizza ovens are on full display up front, dinner and a show! read more

Pagliai's Pizza - Half and half, taco and bacon cheeseburger. Taco comes with taco sauce and sour cream. - Pizza Near Me - Mankato, Minnesota

A very happening spot in downtown Mankato. I was in town for my bday, and had lunch here with a friend. Great hospitality & service, delicious. The name is pronounced "Polly-Eyes" ... my brain keeps wanting to say "PAGLIANI's" (which is a different place, probably in New Jersey lol) Due to my east coast upbringing, my pizza standard are high. While this one doesn't 100% meet Jersey pizza... they do have solid pies and garlic bread. Everything feels authentic in the food. Plus, they let me play Frank Sinatra and were quick to correct an error in our order. Quite busy during lunch, which is a good sign; however, next time I'll come during a quieter time. Liza the manager is the sweetest, as is the rest of the staff we met. read more

it is the 2nd best pizza i have ever had if you go you will get great serves and great pizza

Greatest pizza in Minnesota! I've been coming here for years. Worth the trip from the cities.

I could not wait ti get off work Friday 2/26/26 to go to this restaurant to get the garden pizza. I had only had this pizza 2 previous times and it was so good it left a awesome taste in my mouth. I was so disappointed. The tomatoes on top of the pizza did not look fresh like last time a month ago. The bottom of my pizza had black ashes on it as though the pizza oven had been used so much and not cleaned that the soot was on the bottom of my pizza. Not only was soot on the bottom there was a piece of soot in the box. The pizza looked sloppy and I thought what happened. I expect this pizza to look fresh it fid not taste all that well either something was missing so I liked the cheese up well there we a few onions on my.pizza as though they may have run out. I decided to take it as a $27 loss not leave a tip. I thought about calling, but sadly good service is not what it should be. I did not want to get into an argument. I just decided to write a review and never return. I'm disappointed because I been telling people how good and fresh this pizza was when I ordered. Although, it was on a Friday is no excuse either they were not to busy. I do have photos. I don't have a login. read more

We ate here for dinner the day of the Marathon, so it was expectedly busy. Regardless, we located a clean table near the back and were waited on within a few minutes. The server was helpful and pleasant. We ordered the Pagliai Special (sausage, green pepper, and onion) and it was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy - which is a key to successful pizza in my book. Would return and recommend. read more

Good pizza, but too much sauce for my liking. Our server was super attentive and told us about all their specials and checked in on us regularly. My husband and I both got personal sized pizzas for lunch, and it was more than enough and a steal for $8 with a pop included. If we're down in the area for lunch, we'll definitely stop in again, I'll just order with light on the sauce. read more

You get hit by the old school pizza aroma the second you walk in. Fantastic service, pizza is classic thin crust, heavy on the toppings and cheese. Very good! read more

College town pizzeria was my expectation, but I was pleasantly surprised by excellent wait staff!! And awesome food!! The salad I started with was fresh, colorful, very tasty! Then came a "Huge" plate of spaghetti with excellent sauce. The cheese bread was wonderfully covered in melted, gooey goodness! The final topping to an amazing meal, the bill With a 20% tip was only $17.00.... And I have enough leftovers for a full lunch meal!! When in Mankato, and your ready to fill your daily carb needs, definitely visit Pagliai's with a hearty appetite, you won't be disappointed read more

This place is quite possibly the best pizza place on earth. They put the pepperonis underneath the cheese (which is huge), their cheese is perfectly melted, sauce is great. You can't teach it. Tremendous pizza. Great service. Recommend to all family members, friends, and strangers. Can't say enough about this place. read more

One of Mankato's oldest restaurants brings you tap beer, perfectly baked cheese bread and DELISH deep dish and original crust pizza. The Pagliai's moved from Italy to Iowa around the start of WWI and served pizza in Ames to a growing crowd. Eventually the family loved its business to Iowa City, where it's still owned by members of the original family. During the years, other Pagliai pizzas sprouted up in college towns across the Midwest. Thankfully. And Mankato citizens and area college students are all the happier. Not much goes back into the decor - it's frankly a dive. No matter. The service comes with a smile and the best 'za around. Enjoy. (We devoured our pizza and cheese bread before we could get out the camera.) read more

Excellent very filling pizza that is thin in the crust but full on the toppings also an amazing garlic cheese bread with Canadian bacon and if you want a drink have a good selection. Very good service and a nice atmosphere. Can I am told he rowdy on nights when college games are playing. read more

My husband wanted to order from this place whole we are staying at the City Center Hotel and toss place delivers so a nice plus. However, delivery was quick but we didn't get utensils or plates and napkins to eat our food. The milk that was listed for delivery only said it was in a glass bottle but when it came it was in a 32 oz. cup for soda. The pizza was greasy and had little shape integrity. The spaghetti was good. The garlic toast that came with the spaghetti was over toasted and burnt. Overall, it was a decent first experience since I like the ability to order online and customized with special requests. There was a good pizza list but it didn't have the kind that I wanted and would have to customized which turns out to be way to expensive so I went with one of their pizza options. Will stick with Domino's even though it's a chain. At least I'll be able to order it the way I like online without having to use the phone to call and not be able to look at the menu while on the call and would have to put the person on speaker. read more

Went to this place a few weekends ago now. Boyfriend order pepperoni and sausage pizza. The toppings and cheese were plentiful. Although the crust fell a bit short. Kinda bland and a bit too thick. I ordered the spaghetti which came with cheese bread and a salad. Both where a very nice portion size. There was a bit of water in the bottom of my bowl, which I know can sometimes happen. Overall I feel like it's worth visiting again if I'm in the area. read more
