pizzas and drinks on a table
    Mia H.

I was on a quest the other week, to find the spiciest pizza in Minnesota and I am pretty certain I've found it here. After well over an hour of googling and poring over menus I saw the description for their Diavola pizza... "Our Hot & Spicy Pizza! Red sauce sprinkled with our special pepper blend (a house mix of jalapeño, habanero and cayenne peppers) - sliced spicy Italian sausage, yellow & red peppers, pepperoncini and fresh jalapeño topped with mozzarella, pepper jack cheese and ghost pepper cheese . . . pick your heat: HOT; HOTTER; or DEATH !" Imagine my giddiness when I saw heat level DEATH! Montgomery MN is for many a pretty far hike to get to, but you're able to grab your pizza curbside and take a quick trip down the block to the amazing little brewery (Montgomery Brewery) and bring your pizzas in to eat while you drink through their selection of beer. (Pizza and beer is a match made in heaven) the crust was a nice texture, there were a TON of toppings, my husband got the Chicken in a grass skirt which was really good- I do wish the pineapple would be slightly smaller chunks and spread out more otherwise it was super tasty as well. I can't remember what our friend ordered but he really enjoyed his pizza too. It's a fun day trip or little half day trip for some amazing pizza. If you're a huge spice head like me, the Diavola death heat level is amazing, it is not so spicy you can't eat because you're too busy involuntarily crying and blowing your nose but it's the spiciest I've had authentically that I felt didn't need any hot sauce or red pepper flakes. 10/10 would drive 40+ minutes to order again.

Absolutely amazing. I spent the winter in New Prague and 201 made my time in the country awesome. The jalapeño pepperoni is to die for.

. I wouldn't wait 40 minutes for mediocre pizza in New Prague, drive out to Montgomery and try this place out.

Perfetto I have been…read moreescorting my 91 year old mother to the Mayo Clinic for nearly a year now during her cancer treatments. Yesterday she completed her treatments and I took her to Terza to celebrate. Everything was superb - beginning with the spot on attentive wait staff service, very well crafted Negroni cocktail (love that they use Amaro Montenegro over run of the mill Rosso Vermouth), and the crazy good deep fried cheese balls. These were served with the house "Mother Sauce", which is the chef's grandmother's home recipe. My first comment to the staff was that they could close the restaurant and simply sell this sauce in jars at the grocery store and retire - it's that good. On to the main course, mom had the chicken scallopini with house made taglietelle and I had the house made gnocchi. The chicken was pounded thin and tender, breading perfectly seasoned and sauce well. Generous portion served with 4 cutlets and a nice side of pasta. The house made pasta was tender and paired with a really delicious mushroom sauce (I could just have plate of that for dinner and be happy). But the star of the show was the gnocchi. I have had many gnocchi in Italy. I have made many gnocchi at home. If you have had gnocchi you probably know it can be light or it can sit like a rock in your belly. This gnocchi was on another level. It was so delicate and fluffy, and sauteed to give it a nice browned surface. I cannot say enough about what a skilled and delicate hand it takes to make a gnocchi like this. I would drive the 5 hours back to Rochester just to eat this again. We finished our meal with the dessert special. It was a lemon semolina cake with a perfect sugary crust and an incredible whipped vanilla-marscapone cream and blueberry sauce. Umm - can I have another please? I don't know what else to say but if you are NEAR Rochester you should go eat at Terza.

The greeting and service was excellent. The manager (owner?) came around to genuinely check on our table and all others. The food each of us had was a 5!! I had gluten free penne with grilled chicken, tomatoes and broccolini in olive oil. It was delicious! My friends/colleagues had other pasta dishes they said were wonderful. We look forward to visiting here again on our next visit!

When we arrived we were seated quickly at a nice table in a themed Italian space. We had the Calamari, an the Escargot. And finished with a piece of their homemade Tiramisu. All were very tasty: Calamari was a crispy, well flavored rings (darn I like the little squid) with a good sauce. The Escargot were plump and the garlic butter they came with was delicious, used the bread (very nice Baguette) to sop it up an hold an Escargot! A finished with the Tiramisu which was everything a good homemade desert should be ! The only suggestion would be to up the presentation on the plate of both of the dish's; the calamari and the escargot But had nothing to do with taste, which was excellent.

The waiter and bus staff were great at getting our requests and being prompt with everything. The food was great & good. All of the food was served fresh and hot as it should be. They have a great house Chianti that is reasonably priced by the bottle. The filet special was out of this world awesome. Cooked perfectly medium rare, the cut was top shelf and flavor was incredible. The whole dish was excellent with the mushroom red wine reduction on top providing that blast of flavors that complemented a filet. I may get this every time if they continue to have it on the menu. The fettuccine alfredo was good. The pasta was home-made and cooked perfectly. The sauce was a bit bland and was missing something. Maybe some more parmesan, maybe just salt, not sure but while it was good, it lacked the big creamy flavor that alfredo should have. Chicken was very good, grilled and tender. So this one was "Good" The seafood special was another "Good" one. The shirimp was done perfectly but the rest of the seafood was maybe just a touch overcooked. The sauce was a cream sauce but like the alfredo it lacked just a bit of flavor that would have made it a superb meal. Many guests will love that we have a very good Italian place again in North Hudson as it's part of the heritage of the community. We will go back for sure!! CM

Definitely a bit more rushed feeling with the 90 minute deadline as per usual (still completely get this but wish it could be a bit more flexible for a larger group), but still adored everything we ate and that's why olio still gets top marks. Things to get: -Focaccia- I always love the focaccia and think it plus the red sauce are worth ordering. -Burnt carrots- The burnt carrots were an unexpected surprise that I would definitely recommend. Fun flavors -Pretty much any pasta: casarecce, paccheri, spaghetti Nero. All so unique and delicious in their own ways. Up to you: -Brussels sprouts-still good, just preferred the carrots -Desserts: I preferred the ice cream to the cake. The cake was a bit too dense for my liking but others in my party liked it.
