Nice venue in an unexpected part of the city. AMAZING ciders! These folks are kind, inclusive, and attentive. The best serve we have ever received at a cidery in the PNW! High accolades for the drinks and atmosphere. Our dog Finley Furley even likes it! Finally a replacement for the San Juan Seltzers restaurant and taproom shutdown!

    Outdoor seating area, covered.

I've never been to a cidery that offers so much variety in their ciders and guest taps, and they are all incredible.

It was the perfect Fall day -no rain! We stopped in the Cidery and grabbed a beer for hubby and a wine for me. There was live music...a group playing Celtic songs. The bar offers a cup of food pellets for feeding the critters but we didn't think K was quite ready for that. We went to find the animals and discovered what a gem this place is. Highland Cows, donkey, a small horse, several goats and an alpaca. Really a great variety. And so friendly! We were able to pick up a few pellets for K and he LOVED feeding the goats! The grounds are amazing - way bigger than I expected. I could see how this would be spectacular to hang out on a summer afternoon. We'll be back!!

We more or less stumbled upon it because we had parked in the garage just below. I really liked it. A great selection of ciders--I really like their Pub Dry--which you can flight. We opted to try a couple of varieties ourselves, rather than a flight, and they let us taste them before we committed. Food options were pretty sparse when we were there. They were out of all the folds (it wasn't even 6!), so all that we could get were sausages in a bun. Perfectly edible, but low-key. Locust's emphasis is certainly on the cider, less on the food! Staff was friendly and helpful. When my girlfriend accidentally spilled her full glass because the table was slightly rickety, they replaced it without question. That was so nice! The place is pretty open, with lots of natural light. Has a really good vibe. There are plenty of options for seating, but the place could easily accommodate more tables and seats. There's a lot of unoccupied floor space. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm downtown or near the Market.

They allow you to stroll through their orchard rows at your leisure. There isn't much there for entertainment, but it's an open area that serves cider, you can bring your own snacks and games, music etc. My kids really enjoyed chasing the bullfrogs by the pond. I had sort of assumed that the kids would get bored quickly and we would leave right away. But they were so entertained playing in nature that I couldn't get them to leave for hours, which made for a relaxing afternoon for me and my wife as we sipped cider and watched them play. The cider itself is some of the best I've ever had. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur and I would rank dragon head as my top cider in the state.

We were warmly greeted and though our hostess was new, she did a wonderful job taking care of our large group of 12. Everything ran smoothly and she was great at keeping track of our progress. They have a beautiful orchard that you can walk around in as well. Some nice seating areas scattered about or bring a picnic blanket. No food but maybe some snacks for purchase. We just came from lunch in town so I wasn't looking for snacks while I was there. I saw some people who looked like they brought their own picnic/food to enjoy there. No restroom on site but a porta-potty.
