    Dry Quince Cider
    King R.

While walking back from the Boeing airshow on Lake Washington, I spotted Channel Marker Cider. I'm a big-time fan of cider so I decided to stop by and have one. I also noticed that the place was pet-friendly. Although I don't own a pet, this was one of the first things I noticed when I walked in. It was very late in the day. Most people were either still on boats or burned out from the sun, which contributed to the silence. The establishment was conveniently located near a busy intersection off 15 avenues in northwest Seattle. The customer service came highly recommended, so I took advantage of it. I believe I ordered the Dry Quince Cider. It was a fantastic dry cider, one of my favorites. It was refreshing and balanced. I will definitely come back to experience this establishment's atmosphere, environment, and social environment. My evaluation is based on their potential!

We more or less stumbled upon it because we had parked in the garage just below. I really liked it. A great selection of ciders--I really like their Pub Dry--which you can flight. We opted to try a couple of varieties ourselves, rather than a flight, and they let us taste them before we committed. Food options were pretty sparse when we were there. They were out of all the folds (it wasn't even 6!), so all that we could get were sausages in a bun. Perfectly edible, but low-key. Locust's emphasis is certainly on the cider, less on the food! Staff was friendly and helpful. When my girlfriend accidentally spilled her full glass because the table was slightly rickety, they replaced it without question. That was so nice! The place is pretty open, with lots of natural light. Has a really good vibe. There are plenty of options for seating, but the place could easily accommodate more tables and seats. There's a lot of unoccupied floor space. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm downtown or near the Market.

On tap they have the ciders, some non alcoholic options like a cream soda as well as cbd drinks! They also have a fridge with more non alcoholic or cbd beverages which was awesome as I was a fan of the variety. Limited food options like bags of chips for sale and free popcorn. Outside food and drink is allowed which was nice. I saw many large groups bring in their own food. Atmosphere is friendly and accepting. Enjoyed the coloring supplies available and friendly strangers we chatted with. I ordered the cbd cranberry blood orange 8oz which was super light in flavor profile but a relaxing and tasty drink. My friend ordered the C.R.E.A.M soda and she said it was good. If I returned definitely I would try some of the ciders like Cinna-Bear as that looked popular. Free parking in front of the building is limited but beside the building and behind the building are more spots available. We enjoyed our experience here and my friend felt accepted and safe wearing her fursuit and also received many compliments. Fun and safe place to go on a Saturday night! Would recommend.

If memory serves I believe there was a brewery that was here previously as the layout of the taproom looked very familiar. They have their own ciders on tap as well as guest beer taps but I really wanted to try the cider. It was the primary reason for going here. What I got was their Lrg Up! Ginger Cider. It was really refreshing and good! It was nice and light bodied and had the presence of apple and of course ginger which I always enjoy. Service was friendly and fast and it was nice having the complimentary popcorn while I was enjoying the cider!

They allow you to stroll through their orchard rows at your leisure. There isn't much there for entertainment, but it's an open area that serves cider, you can bring your own snacks and games, music etc. My kids really enjoyed chasing the bullfrogs by the pond. I had sort of assumed that the kids would get bored quickly and we would leave right away. But they were so entertained playing in nature that I couldn't get them to leave for hours, which made for a relaxing afternoon for me and my wife as we sipped cider and watched them play. The cider itself is some of the best I've ever had. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur and I would rank dragon head as my top cider in the state.

We were warmly greeted and though our hostess was new, she did a wonderful job taking care of our large group of 12. Everything ran smoothly and she was great at keeping track of our progress. We learned more about the cider process and where they get their apples from. We really liked the port-like Pommeau and got a bottle of that at the end to share. They have a beautiful orchard that you can walk around in as well. Some nice seating areas scattered about or bring a picnic blanket. No food but maybe some snacks for purchase. We just came from lunch in town so I wasn't looking for snacks while I was there. I saw some people who looked like they brought their own picnic/food to enjoy there. No restroom on site but a porta-potty.
