Poor customer service. Came down for vacation with some of our family members Ordered for my family of 5 and it took 30 for them to get my order correct and I am not exaggerating. The cashier wasn't aware of what was going on how the menu worked and over charged us at the end after going back and fourth with orders that she kept getting wrong. I understand you have children/teens working at your facility but I think training is definitely needed. read more

Slides are fun and park is on the clean side for a water park. However the chicken strips made my younger sister sick all night. She said they tasted weird and didn't even finish for it being $14 for what was like 3 chicken nuggets. No refills on a $4 soda without a lid. They don't take any cash which is a major inconvenience for teens who don't yet have cards and go with friends. Also it's getting pricey for what it's worth. Used to really enjoy going every summer but now our family won't be going again anytime soon. read more

First time going to slidewaters and we had a great experience. Plenty of parking, easy entry, great cabana. I really like that they allow you to bring in your own food and beverages. They have a water section for all ages. I felt like the lines went quickly. I have three kids that range from 2-8 and they loved it. They especially loved being able to go on the slides with us. this review is for Surfside. the surfing and venue is awesome. that's a 5 Star! however the bar and taco truck is probably a 1 or 2 star. grumpy dude at the bar definately kills the cool beach vibe. taco truck wasn't busy. but still manage to take over 15 minutes for chicken tacos - before my wife had to cancel her order. no apologies or reason. just did the refund. the surfing staff was great and friendly. who ever trained them. needs to also take over and train the bar and taco venues. probably different owners, but customers don't know that or care. read more

Our family loves visiting here during the summer! The kids all have a blast! Definitely recommend getting here early to find parking and a spot to put a sun tent or other belongings as spaces fill quickly! The food is expensive and was not very good, but you can leave a cooler in your vehicle and go eat lunch and re-enter the park if you don't want to spend a fortune on their food. Just make sure you get a stamp before leaving! The fries were over salted, the chicken Caesar wrap had no chicken and all lettuce wrapped in a tortilla, the burgers were alright. We will be back as we love it here just hope the food improves a bit more! The funnel cakes are good! read more

I just love slide waters! You can do "Lakeside surf" which is separate from the slides and is very fun. Sometimes they have free 30 minutes class,too. The slides are very fun, especially the purple haze and the tube blaster. read more

I was secretly dreading coming here but told my kids I couldn't wait. I had the best time ever with my kids here. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I couldn't believe they had grass fed beef for their hamburger. The slides were super fun. We will definitely be back next time in Chelan. read more

Visit-July 11,2020 If I could've given zero stars I would! On their website, they make it sound like they are taking protective measures to keep their guests safe from Covid exposure but that couldn't be farther from the truth! They didn't control the number of people entering so the park was packed! I understand it's a water park and it would be impossible to wear a mask, but if you limited the number of guests, then maybe social distancing would've been a little easier. The staff aren't even wearing masks! They have two maybe three X's where you are suppose to stand six feet apart in line but when you have 20 plus people in line, then 3 spaces where to stand doesn't do much good. I didn't see any employees sanitizing lounge chairs, tables, bathrooms, or inner tubes. It's a Petri dish of germs and a Covid outbreak waiting to happen! Not worth going! Learned that they weren't even suppose to open until Phase 3! Anyone else who feels this place should be closed right now, I encourage you to reach out to Chelan County Health Dept and let them know!! read more

We love this waterpark. Had a blast! If you're still terrified of COVID then just do everyone else a favor and stay home. Viruses can live for a veryyy long time & it's a possibility you can catch one anywhere. Wherever you go. So just stay home if you don't want to enjoy your life! One of the better water parks I've been to. Great rides, lots of trees for shade. Plenty of room to spread out a towel and sit. The food was pretty typical for a water park. Service was kind of slow, but the high school age kids working were doing a good job. There are a lot of lifeguards and they interact with people. They give directions when necessary and really keep an eye on things. Also, I really enjoyed the view of the mountain and of the Lake. Would definitely recommend. read more

You enter into the tube and through the darkness twist and turn not knowing what to expect. Just as your life flashes in front of your eyes, the light at the end of the tunnel is visible. .. Go into the light...okay okay maybe not that extreme of a ride but the best one they have at the water park and a fun one. Make sure your bathing suit is securely fastened as you eject out of the tube quite fast and plummet into the water at a speed that can yank your suit down to your ankles exposing tan lines. This is a great place for a summer retreat. The kids will have a good time. There is a good sized kiddie pool but don't expect just to hang out here and go swimming as you pretty much have to slide. Food is a little pricey so I would suggest bringing your own. read more

Upsides: This place was pretty darn near perfect for our family. The assortment of slides was just right so that our kids would all be pleased, busy, and able to stretch their comfort-level just enough (they are 3/6/9). Water depth at the bottom of the slides was pretty shallow . . . so if your child is over 4 feet tall, they can ride most of the slides even if they can't swim (which was a plus for us). You can borrow life jackets if you're still concerned. The park also allows you to double up with a kid on several of the slides. It was very clean. We didn't try the concessions but they looked good. There's a nice view out over Lake Chelan. They have 2 float tube rides in addition to all the slides, so there was some variety. Downsides: Thin on thrills for those in the late-teen/adult age ranges. Don't get me wrong, though. I had fun . . . but it was fun-fun more than scary-I-think-I-might-die-this-is-so-steep-and-fast-fun. A slight exception to this was "Purple Haze". I did find being sloshed around in a small, dark tube to be a little disturbing. I also thought $17 apiece for all of us except the 3-year-old was a bit steep . . . but I paid it and I'm sure I'll do so again in the future. $82 for our family seemed pricey, though. Also, it was more crowded than I would've expected for a Thursday. Regardless, we went for the kids, and they LOVED it. Great family outing! 5 stars if it had been less crowded and less expensive. read more

A fun little water park. Worth a visit if you're in the area Pros: There's actually quite a bit of shade available so you can park yourself for the day. They also allow food, drinks, and tents into the park so if you plan ahead, you don't have to pay park fees for food (which was actually fairly reasonable - a little more than the Golden Arches for a meal). Lockers available to rent. Reasonable entrance fee for a day's worth of fun. Cons: Wish they would have clearer ratings on the slides, as some of the slides that had an "advanced" rating were so slow that I literally stopped in the middle of the slide and another with the same "advanced" rating ... the lifeguard had to jump in and grab probably every 20th person coming out because they were so disoriented when they came out. Quite a few bees/wasps at the park, so be careful. Long lines at the women's bathroom - they need more stalls. Some silly rules - no sunglasses allowed on the slides, but one guy was carrying a Go Pro on a selfie stick down the same slides. read more

A friend of mine told me this water park wasn't too good, so I had pretty low expectations when I went. We got there, and realized this park was very big and well maintained. It was definitely way better than I expected and we had lots of fun! I would highly recommend coming here when in Chelan! Lots of entertainment and can keep you busy for most of a day. read more

This water park was every bit as good as I had hoped and then some. My memories of water parks as a kid involve two things: lots of concrete and long lines. Slide Waters had neither when I went last week. It is built into a hillside and uses the scenic beauty of the area to its advantage. It is also full of nicely maintained trees, shrubs, and grass. Overall, that gives it the feel of an oasis. Maybe it was because the weather was cooler that day and it was a weekday, but there were no lines at any of the slides all day. I compared prices to other water parks, and this is definitely the best value I could find, probably because it is located in a lower population area. We paid the full-day price $19 for adults, and something less for our child (under 48" tall). If you are in town, especially on a weekday, this would be a great family activity. By the way, the Purple Haze slide is pretty intense. I mean you can hold your nose, but beware water will splash into your mouth when you open it to breath. Don't even bother opening your eyes because it's pitch black. read more

This is a cute, clean, and small water park. The prices for food seem standard for any amusement park, but may be a bit high for a farming area. The slides are fun - besides the Purple Haze, they have several other long slides that you have to be over 4' tall for - I counted 6 slides that my nephews couldn't ride. They also have a couple of tube slides and a racing hill, which was really fun. The hot tub was probably my favorite, as the day we went was actually a bit early in the season. Definitely recommend this for a fun visit, especially if you have little ones. You can't lose them in a place this small. The service people were all nice. They helped me pick out a veggie burger I hadn't seen on the menu and guided me to where to buy a bathing suit (of course, I forgot mine). I had a great day at Slidewaters! read more

Slides here for all ages!! It's a super fun place and a great place to spend time with friends and family! I've been on all of the slides there and there's only a couple that are truly thrilling though. The best slides are the racing slide, thunder rapids (the drop off one), and the purple haze(it's ACTUALLY pitch black!). I recommend!!! read more

They have a great bunch of teens working there for summer break, been here many times and they are always very friendly and respectful. They have a little burger window that cooks a decent burger & Fry's for a reasonable price along with a couple of other options as well as ice cream & smoothies. Slidewaters is fun for the whole family! Admission isn't too expensive and you can always find a deal or coupon. They have slides for all ages and skill levels. They also provide life jackets, free of charge, to anyone that needs one. Which was really convenient, we realized upon arrival that we had left our daughters behind. The grounds are kept really nice and even on the incredibly busy days it's a nice experience. There are numerous places around the park to set up a chair, blanket and picnic and if you choose not to bring your own lunch the concessions aren't too expensive. It can get pretty busy in the weekend, I would go on a weekday to avoid the long lines. The only downfall is the bees, I don't know that there is much they can do to avoid it but it can be pretty bad. read more

A really cute, well organized slide park built on the side of a downtown hill. Complete with different level slides for different ages, there are water "big toys" and wading areas for the very young. For the adventurous, they also have The Purple Haze, 20+ seconds of flailing in a closed, humid tube, which is not for the claustrophobic! Lots of open space to lay out but get there early for choice spots. Also, bring what snacks you can. Their 'food' isn't. We had a great time at this water park! We went with 2 seniors, 4 adults, 7 year old, 4 year old, 20 month old and 3 month old. There's plenty of shady area to sit under. We brought a sun tent so the young ones could take a nap. They also have large tents you can rent and pool chairs/loungers to use (first come priority). Loved that they sold large, fun looking tumblers of gatorade but was disappointed in the food options. Definitely bring a waterproof pouch for your phone to take videos and pics of al the fun. My husband used it to record his experience on one of the more immediate slides. There's also in and out privileges if you want to eat food elsewhere. read more

They are ok with you bringing your own food, but just as easy to order from the grill with healthy options like the black bean burger on the menu, but bring snacks as they don't really have smaller options like fruit or bags of chips for those sorts of needs.
