We didn't know they are a Grand Junction institution, but we know now and they are for very good reason. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic as was their hot chocolate (we bought one hot chocolate and they gave us two). We've also heard really good things about the grilled cheese (it includes sliced apples)! The customer service was excellent. Find the Little Pink Truck if you want excellent food from a small business run by the nicest folks you could ever meet.

In all this time, I've been able to get ribs exactly once. They are often out before 6, if they even have them. They talk about running out as it's a good thing. Cheese is freshly shredded which is so great because I can taste the anti caking agents of the cheaper burritos in town. They have 3 sizes. The LiL Richard is a 1/4 lb burrito stuffed as humanly possible. They dont use large tortillas so youre not consuming unnecessary carbs or thick tortilla skins. The NSA a 1/2 lb burrito which again - stuffed as humanly possible. The BiG Richard is over 1 LB for less than $20. All of the burritos can have 2 proteins and your choice of cheeses :) All made fresh to order with organic meats, eggs and cheese, so it may cost a bit more than your pre rolled burritos down the street with questionable greasy meats. I love the BiG Richard !

A burger joint that knows exactly what it wants to be…read more Every now and then you stumble across a place that doesn't try to reinvent the hamburger. It simply focuses on making one really, really well. That's exactly what I found at Munchies Burger. I ordered the Bacon Guacamole Burger and my son ordered Smoky Mountain Burger, and both delivered in different ways. The Bacon Guacamole Burger was fresh, creamy, and packed with generous slices of avocado that balanced the smoky bacon perfectly. The Smoky Mountain Burger leaned into bold flavors with smoky bacon, melted cheese, and a hearty, satisfying bite that made it feel like classic comfort food done right. The patties were juicy, the buns held together nicely, and every ingredient tasted fresh. The sides deserve just as much credit. We tried both the classic crunchy fries and the sweet potato fries, and honestly, there wasn't a wrong choice. The regular fries had that crisp exterior with a fluffy center, exactly how great fries should be. The sweet potato fries were slightly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and naturally sweet without being overly greasy. We kept reaching across the table stealing each other's fries, which is always a good sign. The restaurant has that relaxed, old-school burger shack atmosphere where the focus is clearly on the food rather than flashy décor. Service was friendly, our order came out quickly, and everything arrived hot and fresh. If you're in Grand Junction and craving a burger that tastes like it was made by people who genuinely care about getting the basics right, Munchies Burger deserves a visit. Between the Bacon Guacamole Burger, the Smoky Mountain Burger, and two excellent styles of fries, we'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. This place easily earns a spot on my list of local favorites.

The location is excellent in a shopping mall on the south side of I70. The interior decor is up to date and welcoming, but still has the fun signs Rib City's are known for. We were greeted and seated promptly by the server. The server was personable and welcoming as she took our drink orders and explained the lunch specials. There are many specials on the menu, but there are also specials on the table sign and the chalkboard sign as you enter. We always get the fried okra, and it was cooked perfectly as always. They are also serving fried pickles now. We each ordered the lunch special of a Pulled Pork Skyscrapers with 2 sides for $12.99. I got the green beans and fries, and my husband got the mac and cheese and baked beans. The pulled pork was delicious as always mixed with the NC vinegar based sauce and a side of coleslaw that goes on the sandwich. All sides were also good. Service was top notch the entire time. Special notes: whatever the seasonal cheesecake is GET IT! It is homemade and amazing. We got a slice to go, and it was enormous! The flavor this time was blueberry. So, so delicious! They also have a happy hour special on drinks and 1/2 off apps from 2-6 on weekdays. We will be back to this location frequently!
