Misleading information on a "2-year" floor model that appears closer to 4 years used…read more.. I'm sharing this so other buyers are aware before purchasing a floor model. I visited Ortho Mattress and was helped by Brian, who was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through multiple options. I made it clear that I value sleep quality and durability, and I was willing to invest in a high-quality mattress that would actually last. He showed me an Aireloom Chester floor model and spoke highly of Aireloom as a premium brand - that even the White House had Aireloom mattresses in at one point. The mattress felt great in-store, supportive and firm. Because it was a final sale floor model, I specifically asked: How long has this mattress been on the floor? Has it had a lot of use? I was told it had been on the floor for about 2 years, and that luxury mattresses like this typically see less foot traffic. Based on that - along with my own research that floor models around ~2 years can still be a good value - I moved forward. The mattress was originally around $5,500 and I purchased it for about $2,000 (plus tax), with a box, frame, and protector included. What happened after delivery: On the first night, I woke up with significant back pain and noticed the mattress was bowing in the middle. After sleeping on it more, it became clear there are compression zones that aren't obvious during a quick in-store test, but become very noticeable overnight. Eventually I couldn't take the back pain anymore and moved the mattress out of my bedroom and into the living room. That's when I checked the tag: The mattress shows a manufacture date of February 2022 and delivery in March 2022, which makes it closer to 4 years old, not 2. That's essentially double the represented wear time, and it directly impacted my decision to purchase. Attempt to resolve the situation with the store: I contacted the store and spoke with district management. I explained that: I made the purchase based on the "~2 years" representation The condition and tag suggest significantly more use I'm not asking for a refund - just a mattress I can actually sleep on. I was told there is nothing they can do due to the final sale policy. Final thoughts: I understand what "final sale" means, and I take responsibility for that. But final sale shouldn't mean accurate information doesn't matter. The difference between 2 years and ~4 years of use is significant when it comes to support and longevity. Had I known the true age and condition, I wouldn't have purchased it. It's frustrating because I went in trying to invest in better sleep and ended up worse off. Advice to others: If you're considering a floor model: -I personally wouldn't after this experience -If you do, verify the actual manufacturing date yourself -Don't rely only on how it feels in-store -Be very cautious with final sale items where you have no protection Brian was professional during the sales process, but overall this has resulted in a $2,000+ mistake and ongoing back pain. I'd still be open to a reasonable resolution if the store chooses to take accountability and make this right.

We finally made our purchase at Living Spaces and so far are very happy. Our leather recliner sofa…read moreand recliner are beautiful and comfortable. We did not feel the extended warranty was a worthwhile option but are hoping for the best. Flexsteel has its own detailed warranty and since we've never had a good extended warranty experience in the last thirty years (auto, appliances, electronics etc.) we feel like rolling the dice and paying for any repairs would offset the high price of the extended warranty offered. I have to say the shopping experience at Living spaces was the best of all other furniture stores we visited. There was no pressure and delivery was on time and exceptional. Maybe we were just lucky but we will return to Living Spaces for any future purchases.

This was an EXTREMELY disappointing purchase and customer service experience. My household…read morepurchased the Imani Brown Modern table, and the first tabletop arrived with a weirdly shiny oil or lacquer stain on one circle half. We called customer service and they agreed to send us a replacement tabletop. The second tabletop still had issues. This time, the wood had a distinctly distressed look, which isn't evident in their online stock photos and wasn't found on the first tabletop. There were odd splotches of white ingrained in the wood across various patches of the tabletop. There was no consistency in the white splotches. It made the tabletop look very worn, when it should have been brand new. We contacted the customer service line again to see what they could do to resolve the situation. They refused to provide a discount, claiming this was just a natural part of the wood and that there were no defects. We completely disagree. They said we could swap for a 3rd tabletop due to "preference" but would be charged another delivery fee. Why should we have to pay a delivery fee for what could very well be another problematic tabletop? No thank you. We're done spending money on worn out furniture. My household was hoping to furnish our home with more items. From this awful experience, no future furniture will be coming from Living Spaces. Over an $800 tabletop, Living Spaces has lost themselves a return customer. We will be discouraging friends and family from purchasing from Living spaces. For those reading, you are better off going somewhere else for your furniture needs. Living Spaces' poor quality and even poorer phone customer service aren't worth the headache. TLDR: Don't bother with Living Spaces. Poor quality and poor customer service.
