I purchased an OSIM uDream massage chair at the end of 2024. At approximately $13,000, this is OSIM's flagship massage chair, so I expected premium quality, premium materials, and premium customer service. Unfortunately, after only normal household use, the upholstery on the backrest began to crack. The chair has never been abused. We have no pets, it has never been exposed to direct sunlight, and we have never used any harsh cleaning products. It has simply been used as a massage chair is intended to be used. What disappointed me even more was OSIM's warranty response. They told me that the upholstery is considered a cosmetic "wear-and-tear" item and therefore is not covered. They also explained that factors such as clothing, body contact, and frequency of use can affect the lifespan of the material. This explanation simply does not make sense. A massage chair is designed for people to sit on every day while wearing normal clothes. Are customers now expected to worry about what they wear before using a $13,000 massage chair? Should we limit how often we use it to avoid damaging the upholstery? If normal daily use causes the material to crack within such a short time, then the material itself is not suitable for a premium product. When consumers spend this kind of money, they are paying not only for advanced massage technology but also for long-lasting quality and durability. Cracking upholstery after such a short period under normal use should not simply be dismissed as "cosmetic wear." To be honest, I would expect many massage chairs costing only a fraction of this price to have upholstery that lasts longer. This is certainly not the level of quality I expected from a $13,000 flagship model. Instead of standing behind the quality of its premium product, OSIM chose to deny warranty coverage by placing the responsibility on normal use. That is extremely disappointing. I have been a loyal OSIM customer, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I hope OSIM will reconsider both the quality of the materials used in its premium products and its warranty policy. For anyone considering an OSIM massage chair, especially one of their flagship models, I strongly recommend asking exactly what is and is not covered under warranty before making such a significant investment. Based on my experience, even cracking upholstery under normal household use may become your responsibility rather than the manufacturer's. A premium price should come with premium quality and premium customer support. Sadly, my experience with OSIM has been the opposite. read more

I have been waiting almost two months for a third-party technician, and I'm still waiting for the repair to be scheduled. Having just bought a mattress at a major retailer, we were offered a great deal on the US made massage chairs they carry for Black Friday. But knowing the quality and performance of my portable Osim, I wasn't satisfied with the massage it delivered. If you're going to invest in a massage chair, you want it to replace massage salon visits. We tried out the uDivine V2 and the uLove 3 and what a difference (as expected) compared to the US made chairs. Osim is a Singapore brand but designed by Sato Tsuyoshi (Japanese Chiropractic Expert) and that is noticeable. Very dissatisfied with my experience here. The sales rep Kathy was very pushy and made me feel pressured to purchase a chair. I tried the chair at the store and initially felt that it was decent and that it could provide me some relaxation after a long day's work. Little did I know that that would not be the case. I ended up purchasing the chair that day and upon returning home, I felt a sharp and persistent pain in my neck and back. I tried to wait a few days to see if it got better on its own, but it lingered and some of my fingers felt numb. It turns out I had radiculopathy and the only recent event I could track it back to was the chair. I spent hundreds on multiple sessions with physical therapy and only after that was I able to find some relief. I attempted to contact sales/services for a return on the item because though it was final sale, I did not think I'd be buying an item that would cause me pain. Osim refused to refund my money despite my injury and needing to fund my therapy to heal. I do not recommend this place or this company at all for their inconsideration and on what their product caused me. read more

i purchased a neck massager from this company and was told it's covered by a 1 year warranty. 7 months into it, the massager broke and the gears were grinding and making noise. it felt like it's falling apart. the mechanism was cheap and it barely held up. i took the unit back to the store to see what they will do. the store took the massager back and told me they will repair and will call me when it's done. Three weeks later i got a text to pick up the massager. i took it home to try to use it, the massager turned on but didn't work at all. I called the store and no one picked up the phone. i left a message and no one got back to me. i purchased this neck massager to try out their brand because i am in the market for a massage chair. i am glad i didn't purchase a massage chair from them. Should be zero star ! Don't buy OSIM, their message chair is suck. My sister and I each bought a Message chair and we both have problems since the first year. Now my message chair is not even working. I paid so much money $7000 and the chair only worked for less than 2 years. If you want to fix the chair then you have to pay few hundred dollars for labor service fee , parts and etc ; and it is only warranty for 3 months.
