I want to mention and provide feedback for improvement, that the customer service has been unsatisfactory.  There is poor communication of any issues like the one mentioned in a recent e-mail which causes a late delivery of the supplies.  I am not sure the date when the prescription become invalid.  I also want to mention that I get supplies two to three days late since the order seems to be placed late. read more

On March 8, 2024 I spoke with Kimberly about needing a new supplier. She took my info and said she would send it to the insurance department. My mask needs to be changed on the 26th. on the 22 I called to check the status of my order. "I am sending an email to Insurance verification to check status " Within 30 minutes I got a call from my original supplier asking if I wanted to order supplies. They have an updated computer system and my info showed up (I left them 10 months ago) The man kindly took my new insurance info and placed my order at 5 pm. When I called Rotech back to cancel my account they were closed. I canceled by text and email. read more

Got slammed on a return phone call by a recording saying I had won a life alert monitoring device. I was unable to to speak to a real person and had do abort the call. The phone number in Kentucky showed up as a suspected spam number on my mobile phone. Company uses relentless hard sell and multiple phone calls to get your business, If this is a legitimate business they have a lot of problems as I mentioned above. If I could give a lower review, I most certainly would do so! Today is 7-22-2024 and I have been attempting to order and receive CPAP supplies since April 2024. I ordered online and then with an agent by phone and still nothing. Now they tell me they must drive to my doctor's office to get a physical signature rather than email or a secure portal!! IS THIS 2024 OR 1924????? In the meantime, their electronic system calls me, texts me, and emails to me daily to order my CPAP supplies but never a live person to speak with. I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO DO SO TO NO AVAIL!!!!! This is the most disgusting service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I guess I need to keep washing out my ancient supplies and use duct tape to keep it all together in working order!!!!! read more

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE NUMBER, I WOULD!!! I have been trying for almost a year to get new equipment. The new machine was delivered in June 2023 while I was in a rehab facility after back surgery. I told them at that time I wanted auto-delivery. No replacement or anything ever arrived. I made a trip to the office in the East end only to be told I needed a new prescription since it had taken so long (seriously, I took them so long that my prescription ran out!) OK, I called while standing in their office, made an appointment for the next morning, went to the doctor, got the new prescription, called, and let them know the new prescription had been added. I was told 8 to 10 business days (that was months ago), and still no new equipment. I called and talked to two people I couldn't understand, only to be asked what Medicare's group number was.... seriously? Three times, I have been told in the last month that my insurance had to be updated (it has always stayed the same Medicare and AARP supplement), and twice, I asked to speak to a manager only to be told someone would call me back .... no one ever did. I finally got mad yesterday and talked to a man who kept telling me that my machine (the new one they delivered) that only has the words "Resmed" should have other words on it. Evidently, he thought I was too stupid to read, so I offered to send a picture. I did.... now I am covered over with emails saying I need to provide another phone number because my number is unreachable. Strange that my phone rang all day, and I even had a video call from my grandson and his wife. They said the picture wasn't good, even though it was a JPG image. So, no... as of right now, I would tell people to RUN. These people have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and have no intention of sending anyone anything. read more

Sleep Central is a horrible company! They are so unprofessional and have very bad follow-through. I've been dealing with the same issue with them for over a year about their mistake with my insurance but having to prove that I'm compliant. I have proven that and they have agreed that I have proven it and yet I get notifications just about every month saying that I need to prove I'm compliant. When I finally spend approximately four hours each month, talking to them on the phone, sending emails, writing them, they eventually say how sorry they are. They made the same mistake. They make it again and again and again. They are a company that should be put out of business and I do not say that lightly. If you can go with anyone else to get your CPAP needs, I highly suggest you do so. read more

this is by far the worst company ever, the first time you order from them, they were ok, after that, they are slow, nasty, untrustworth. I have been waiting on the order for months and called them to see what was going on. a man said they had my prescription for my equipment, but it came under some sort of fax that they couldn't open, mind you they had received the same fax from the same place when they first filled the order. but when I speak to the woman, she claims that they don't have it and They're trying to get it and this is on and on and on and on it's always been an issue. and the woman is so nasty. the second time i ordered, it took months and there were the same issues. i don't believe that this a legit business. it's F rated on BBB. This is Berenice Lewis. I recently returned filters which do not fit my machine. They are indeed CF9901-1 but do not fit! Nowhere does this machine have the word breeze.The machine does say ResMed and Air Sense 10. The filters would have fit my old machine which was replaced.I need filters which are twice as wide and do not have a slanted edge. I am leaving the country for 5 months in 3 weeks so I hope this can be resolved quickly. read more

Ordering is always confusing and a chore. The website frequently is down. I get calls everyday to replace my equipment, but then cannot because the site is down. Customer service is inconsistent. Some people are helpful, and others speak as if they are inconvenienced by you. Even the text chat takes anywhere from 5 minutes to several hours to get answers. I ordered the wrong mask (because of the website setup) and requested an exchange. But, they wanted me to pay for shipping and a restocking fee. I think they get enough business to absorb at least one of those fees. read more

The portal update system does not work. I'm trying to correct my phone number. It takes up to 2 weeks to get any kind of response via email. Product support for my device is specifically denied. All I want is a part number for my nose cushion, but Rotech can't seem to get that info for me. They are not sure about insurance filing. I requested VOIDING all auto ship efforts. I'm DONE with this place, and it's only been 4 weeks since I started. I have to get a new nose mask, one that is commercially supported by mainstream suppliers! read more

Rotech purchased accounts from my previous cpap supplier. When I didn't receive any supplies my doctor ordered, I contacted RoTech, who sent a with a questionnaire to me. They "needed" this questionnaire to open my account. Since my email was unencrypted, the sensitive information requested could be seen by third parties. If fact Rotech, warns of this in the small print in their email. In order to avoid potential identity theft, I sent this questionnaire to the Kentucky office by United State Post Office. When I got no response, I contacted customer service. They requested a tracking number; however, I did not send the letter certified. The agent provided me with a patient id number. When the patient portal did not allow me to open an account, I contacted customer service and was told: (1) The previous supplier did not provide all my information. (Yet, Rotech can manage to bill my insurance on the cpap machine lease). (2) The post office must have the letter I sent. (3) I could contact customer service by phone or Chat. On 4/12/23 I contacted customer service by phone. I was told by the agent that within the hour, she would get back to me regarding my account. Two and a half hour later no phone call was returned to me. Conclusion, RoTech does not care about potential customer identity theft issues that might occur with their emailed sensitive information request to new customers. Customer Service does not provide complete information to new customers that is needed to fulfill their request for information until contacted again. When I did contact customer service by phone, I am still waiting for a response or at least acknowledgement they are still working on filling my order. As soon as the lease for the cpap machine is expired, I will be finding another supplier. Deal with this company at your own risk. read more

They market aggressively (phone calls, texts, emails), and their order placement system doesn't show prices, total order price, insurance coverage, or how the balance is to be paid. I have been robo-called so often by rotech and sleepcentral that I have had enough. (Brittany has supposedly cancelled my account... but I have a bad feeling I'll be hearing from somebody at rotech soon.) I never wanted to rent a cpap machine. Never. Their constant phone calls and emails have exhausted my patience and I never want to hear from them again. I'll be cancelling with the sleep clinic that I have used for years if they don't switch from sleepcentral. I'd rather buy a machine on eBay and be done than be badgered to death and haunted by the fear that "I need new supplies". It really sounds like a medicare/insurance scam. My order had not been placed and Jennifer Joel had supposedly sent me an email to update me on status. Baloney!!!! Nothing has been done and I am NOT IMPRESSED! For several weeks I have been trying to reach someone at Rotech and then Sleep Central regarding Sleep supplies. A gentleman at Rotech told me that my Sleep Apnea doctor needed to send info re my needs to Rotech. After multiple calls to Rotech, Apria, my doctor, I got someone at Apria who knew what to do and did it: all info sent to Rotech via FAX. The next week I went into Sleep Central and ordered some supplies only to get a text asking for more info. I tried to use the internet per Sleep Central's advice: I could set up my new account, which I tried to do but it would not recognize my ID. I finally contacted the help line asking what I needed to do? Today I received an email from Cheryl Figueroa sending me the form that I needed to fill out and how to send it back. I have now filled it out and sent it back and hope to hear from the Provider Change Department. I thank Cheryl for sending very clear instructions. They helped this techy-challenged person get the info written and sent. I am so grateful to her and will change her rating to a ten. read more

Tolerable but certainly not acceptable contact availability. Seems like 'sleep supply services' generally have rather poor contact availability relying on message service options and emails as a cost savings option. Best one can hope for is to play the game, send an email and just wait the specified one to three days for a response. Unable to even ascertain why my financial and insurance docs supposedly sent were never received permitting my device to be shipped. My "only option" offered is to pay a taxi to drive me to the local office for "in person" visit. Not a happy camper by any means. read more

"PENNY" at Sleep Central in Murray, KY was polite and efficient in CHATTING with me as my response to today's Sleep Central email. Sleep Central had previously shipped a replacement CPAP device with hose and under-the-nose nasal mask. Sleep Central needed specifically what added items and sizes are still to be shipped to me. Those items already received differed from my prior device and had NO instructions for fitting or sizes. Apparently I am/was to do a trial-and-error. NOTE my prescribing physician had retired; his NP ordered the replacement. I do have an appointment set with a "new" physician next month. I am hoping the insurer will accommodate the changes and approach. read more

"Customer service" I believe, should be the lifeblood of any business. This Is not the case with Sleep Central, at least in its Murray, Kentucky outlet, nor at its Mesa Arizona outlet. In Murray, Ken., I spoke with Chelsie R. (CSR I) who needed to provide me time to choose a new headgear for my CPAP machine because my past headgear had seen possible health-hazard concerns expressed about it in an email sent to me on Jan. 26, 2024 by ResMed, its manufacturer. To give me time to choose a new mask, Chelsie R. said she could only call me back within 2 hours to make my choice & to put this new headgear in my new order. So, I waited, waited, waited for 2 hours at home, discontinuing any other activity for the afternoon, so I could take her call. I received no call from her. Great customer service! As for the Mesa, AZ outlet, I went in to this office to ascertain the reason why my disposable filters were turning brown to black after usage for 7-10 days. I was given an appointment with Stevon/Stephon/Stevan (pronounced - "Steph-on") to determine a possible cause of this discoloration in the filters. Stevon/Stephon/Stevan could not give me an explanation, which I don't blame him for. But he did offer "to send me new filters," as he said, "I have millions of these in my Peoria, AZ. office." My visit with him was on Dec. 14, 2023. By Jan. 6-7, when I had received no new filters, I called this office back to inquire of no receipt of the new filters. Pepper, the office clerk I spoke with, was very efficient about expediting these new filters for me, with no explanation of why Stevon/Stephon/Stevan was so delinquent in providing me the customer service he promised. Pepper deserves a "gold star" for her helpfulness, cleaning up the mess Stevon/Stephon/Stevan could not fulfill. In addition, another question I had for him which I hoped he would call me back about, has, as of today, Sat., Jan. 27, not been addressed. I have received no call back. So, Pepper deserves high praise for efficiency, kindness, & a caring disposition in my dealings with her. Stevon/Stephon/Stevan should be sacked! As for Chelsie R. (CSR I), she stated she couldn't call me back for 2 hours to receive my choice of a new headgear, because she had to complete any service calls she might receive in the interim. I respect that. But she stated after her 15 min. "break," she could call me back. I guess she got carried away with something else during her break? Never heard from her. Fortunately for me, Adalyn G. was able to take my later call yesterday, after waiting for Chelsie R.'s call which I never received. Adalyn G. was very helpful; concise in her manner & duties; & dedicated to fulfilling my need to choose a new headgear & include that in my Feb., 2024 quarterly order. A "gold star" should be given to Adalyn G., though at times, she is difficult to understand when she speaks quickly, as she has an accent. But hey, she gets the job done competently, which I can't say for Chelsie R., nor Stevon/Stephon/Stevan! So, that's my tale about extremely poor customer service relations with Sleep Central, out of its Murray, Kentucky outlet, & its Mesa, Arizona outlet. It has been almost a full month since I ordered CPAP supplies and due to a changing story I still have not received them. In their latest email they apologize to me and say the now need notes from my doctor before they can process my order but do not say if they have contacted my doctor or want me to. Due to their level of competence so far I suggested to them I would do it. I would just need a fax and/or phone number so my doctor can fax them the notes they need and ensure all paperwork is now completed and correct. read more
