Super easy to miss and the company is completely okay with duping customers because they get a steady stream of business from the local healthcare networks. Honestly a brilliant way to run a business if you have no compassion for the end user! Keeps those profits up and that's clearly all they care about. She made sure my insurance is up-to-date, and even emailed some YouTube videos to help me understand how everything fits together, how to clean the various parts and re-assemble them. Never have I dealt with such an inept and sluggish company.  Let's review. In June, I was wondering why my supplies had not come.  Then Rotech wrote that "there has been a slight delay in obtaining some necessary documentation."  Excellent example of how to write a sentence without any specific action suggested.  So, I wrote back on June 15th, asking what documents were needed.  The fleet-footed reply came a full week later: "Your order is holding due to us needing face to face notes from your Doctor that state that you are benefitting from using the machine."  So, I immediately contacted my doctor and she faxed the requested documents on June 22.  One week later I still hadn't heard anything so I wrote you again, hoping to awaken you from your slumber.  I noted that "The water basin is not sealing currently so this is somewhat urgent."  That was June 29th.  Finally, on July 7th, I got this: "We will reach out to you if anything further is needed for you to process your order.  I will send an email to have this hold reviewed."  Nothing resolved.  No action taken (unless you think sending an internal email is somehow taking action!).  No information about how I might move this urgent request forward.  Still no resupplies.  Still a machine that leaks.  Yawn. This is totally unacceptable.  You ask me for suggestions on how to serve me better.  Oh, I don't know.  Perhaps replying in a timely manner.  Perhaps giving specific information about what I can do to move the process along. Perhaps don't let any resupply languish for a full month.  And when someone says this is somewhat urgent - call them!  Don't send a fricking email to some other faceless tuna in the warehouse.  I still have no idea where this stands. And after being inept, sluggish and useless, please don't say "I hope you have a wonderful day!"  Having to get up in the middle of the night to refill a faulty water basin does not yield wonderful days.  Just do your job or find a different one.  I hear McDonalds is hiring. read more

Just had to mention if you happen to utilize a CPAP machine , you know how " Important " it is to maintain your equipment tubes, filters, masks, headgear etc, I utilize Sleep Central for all of my supplies, with so many insurances, constant changes, I must say Sleep Central stays on top of it and has always been able to get me the needed supplies, It is refreshing to speak with sincere people that obviously enjoy their job and explain throughly as to your order and time frames of actual shipping. I spoke today to such a person Britney Calhoun " CSR SC" I explained my needs she checked against my previous orders and verified all of my order was correct & complete as to my current machine being utilized. I have previously tried to order supplies and ended up with poor connections with language barrier adding to confusion and not feeling confident giving personal information over the phone outside the USA. This has happened to me multiple times: I call the main office, the rep tries to transfer me to a branch, no one answers, the rep sends an email (most recently, addressed to a NUMBER), and no one ever responds. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! Tell your Pulmonologist to please refer you to another company. Resmed, Aeratech, Lincare, Apria, Total Respiratory, Philips, (Even Goodwill and/or MarketPlace) Customer Disservice. A company that does not have the ability to listen nor even try to attempt to understand the concerns of their customers has NO Customer Service. I made numerous phone calls to try to obtain replacement supplies, only to be told that I am not entitled to these supplies due to my insurance provider. After contacting my BCBS provider, I am informed that, I am entitled to many supplies, even monthly, even though I have been paying Rotech/Sleep Central and they having been billing my insurance company. I am not sure if this meets the legal statute of Fraud, but it certainly begs the question. So being properly informed, I call again. Unfortunately the ESL (English as a Second Language) representative, can only read from a SCRIPT , that does not match my questions and concerns. I actually do not blame her for her inability to troubleshoot and listen to my concerns, I totally fault her company training. Throughout my 45 minute frustrating leading to infuriating attempt to simply resort to "Yes or No" questions, I conceded and asked for a Supervisor to please call me. Well, the next day, to my surprise, I did get a return call from a "Supevisor". Again Sleep Central did an outstanding job training management to read from the same script. Unfortunately, the supervisor, even though she apologized profusely, was unable to simply listen to my concerns and properly, concisely respond. I will not recommend Rotech/Sleep Central to anyone. Actually, anyone who I come into contact with that is having a sleep study done, I will strongly suggest they avoid contact with Rotech/Sleep Central. Just got a phone call from Penny as a follow up to an earlier chat. My CPAP supplies delivery date has twice been pushed back by UPS. In the past with other carriers, this meant that they didn't know where the package was. It had been delivered to some depot back east and then poofed out of existence... without a trace. That might be the case here. Apparently UPS was supposed to do a handoff to USPS but that service has problems of its own, specifically Louis DeJoy. But back to the action. Penny called to let me know she was ordering another replacement to be delivered to my home by FedEx. Now, how about that? I'd closed that earlier chat because I thought the only thing I could do was play the waiting game to find out if my supplies would be delivered by 7 pm tonight or not. Penny just took that waiting stress off me. Her taking the initiative to follow up with ordering a replacement and calling me about it demonstrates why I prefer to order my major CPAP supplies from Sleep Central. January 30, 2026, l am working with Bethany M. to transfer my account from Texoma Medical Center DME to RoTech. There have been some delays which Bethany has worked to resolve. Some of those delays were my misunderstanding of the process for transfer. Some delays were from the Doctors office for correct records. Some delays were from RoTech software which can be confusing. I believe I am in the proper channel to get my account completed and be in the routine reorder process which would not require special handling. Prior to Bethany's involvement I was not a satisfied customer, but at this time I believe we may have this resolved in 2 weeks. Success at last. I've been dealing with Sleep Central for months and months over this issue. They sent me product replacements in March, but continue to send me fraudulent invoices for the same items, even though I only received them once. I've sent them multiple emails regarding this, and when they do reply to my emails--often weeks later--I get a different customer service rep each time, and all they ask is what home address I have on file, which has nothing to do with the actual problem. This company's customer service is awful, and they should be ashamed of how poorly their customer service representatives are trained. I would give them a lower review if I could. read more

This is my fourth unanswered call this week. During today's attempt, I was on hold for over 34 minutes, repeatedly told by an automated voice that "my call is important," all while enduring looping hold music--only to be randomly disconnected. Customer service is only available during weekday business hours (9-5), which means I have to take time off work just to try to resolve issues with a $1,000 device. The process is convoluted and confusing--between Sleep Central, ResMed, and Rotech, it's unclear who is responsible for what. Trying to schedule an in-person appointment is no better; they're booked more than a month out. The ResMed AirMini supplies feel cheap, flimsy, and are not compatible with my home device, which requires buying additional supplies. To their credit, the sales experience was great--they were incredibly helpful and responsive when it came to making the purchase. Unfortunately, that level of service has not extended to post-sale support. What good is the device if it doesn't function properly or come with the support needed to make it usable? Not at all happy with Rotech. They implement rules beyond what my insurance dictates for consumables and are not receptive to any complaint regarding their performance or perceived inadequacies. I contacted them many times and it was always a bad experience, waiting, then never getting any accommodation or consideration for their delays (when merging/purchasing "Medical Equipment Distributors"). For about the past ten years I have been receiving supplies regularly. In the past about 6 weeks I have received calls from ROTECK asking me to verify my supply order. Each time I was told my supply order was on its way. Last week I received a message telling me I needed a new prescription. On my email I received another request for a new prescription. I emailed back a response with the current information. Last year Dr. Mapel submitted me to a new sleep study. The new prescription was sent to ROTECH. I began to receive supplies with a new CPAP unit. NOW, ROTECH acts like they didn't have a prescription. And, ROTECH still has me under Dr. Mackin. ROTECH needs to keep current records. I called today and was informed that Dr. Machin was still my doctor which he is not. Then she tells me they will be waiting on a signature from Dr. Mapel. Absolutely ridiculous !! read more

It took me a long time to get to Josiah. I had received no notice whatsoever that Humana had switched me from Cooley/Lincare to Rotech. No one at any of those had a human being answering the phones; it was just auto messages and guessing what number to press, and waiting for a call back. Josiah wanted me to fill in the blanks online so that i could transition from Cooley/Lincare to Rotech, I said that usually doesn't work for me, even though I use computers a lot.
