The selection is very nice of higher end and larger 24inches in height exterior lighting. Now the place could be neater and cleaned up but the selection makes up for it. The layout is perfect with interior, exterior, etc organized and laid out so you can see them. What I appreciated more was they had the larger pieces 24" or larger also displayed so you have an idea of the difference between smaller exterior lights and larger ones. Our sales guy was nice and knowledgeable but should up his wardrobe to look more professional and not some street guy from Portland, OR selling wood carved fish...I know because I had reps in OR...Nice guy...The other sales person was female and dressed very business casual which is more appropriate. No stars off because this guy knew his stuff and it was a weekend...Regardless, improve the look. Good place for lights. Higher end but if you just bought a $15k+ dual door why would I want $200 lights to go beside it? Definitely the place to go for lighting that is not cookie cutter and plain.

After 3 hours, I called back since no one called me back--I was told that David (salesperson who took our order) was on the phone and would call me back as soon as he got off. Brian had the task of replacing the silk lining on both shades and did such an amazing job on both lamps. They are like new. Brian even took the Fine Art lamp stamp and re-sewed it back into the new silk lining. All in the process was seamless and very professional. Pricing was well within range and I could not be more happy with the outcome. Brian was professional, and stuck to his timelines. He finished my project within the time he originally provided which was great since most companies promise the world but never produce. Working with Brian and this company was the complete opposite of most companies that I have worked with in the past. Brian had very good clear instructions and if followed as directed you should have a very easy process. The instructions are very detailed and the information he provides during the process is great! I was little hesitant to drive out to get my lamp fixed due to distance, but it was definitely worth the drive. He finished the repair within 3 hours (my appt was at 9, but got there 9:15~ and said it would be ready by 3 PM. I texted to ask eta at 11:30 and it was already done! He was professional and honest, and even helped me to get my lamp in the car. As I walked in, I was stunned how much stuff they had in the store. Furniture types included couches, tables, dining sets, chairs, shelves, showcases, bedsheets, blankets and towels. Most of these products had sale on them, anywhere between 10%-50% off. The store also had additional 20% off. Despite those discounts, the prices were way high for me. But I saw a lot of the furnitures had hold order on them, meaning people were actually buying plenty of products from here. Several staff members were available around the floor helping out customers. The whole store was mostly clean and tidy but around the bedding section, it was messy as people were checking the inventory of bedsheets, blankets and towels.

So i called Gladiator Electric in Dumont and had them check our system to determine what was wrong. They came the following day, as scheduled, and checked our ventilation system. They saw what was wrong and fixed it. , Working with Zack and Eddie was a pleasure. They were on time, very friendly and were able to determine what was wrong. I was impressed with them. As a follow up, I asked them to provide me with an estimate for another project which we will do next month. Our contractor referred us to come here on Central Ave in Yonkers because of their reputation, quality and variety. Lights on Design was like a crisp breath of fresh air when we stopped in here. Main floor is mostly crystal grand chandeliers, attractive contemporary style lights, some 1960s-inspired and more. And, if you're on their website, you can shop by style, fixture type and browse through some of their inspiration gallery photos. Paula was a doll, showed us the upstairs filled with mostly pendant lighting, floor lamps and some smaller chandeliers. Since so much has changed in lighting trend, getting rid of our wrought iron dining area chandelier had to happen as well- especially since it has a country-chicish look I don't like anymore in my home. There's another lighting store on Central Avenue which we could've gone to- but based on reviews, so glad this place came out on top. Owner Glenn, was helpful, patient and friendly. Even when hubs and I didn't find what we wanted on their website, Paula helped locate it in their paper catalog. I loved how she gave us expert advice on how to choose fixtures and even determined which size was best for our space. She was our lighting whisperer.
