I brought my car in for her first service. I can't believe she will be a year old next week…read more Everybody has been so nice. Alex took my intake forms and he was a doll. He was so nice and welcoming. Thanks to Jaden who sold me a trunk mat for my car. He and Jaden helped put it in the car. Jaden was so kind to check and see why my front mat was sliding up. It was nice to see Joy my service person, she is lovely. And, I was able to run into my awesome sales person, Kyle. He is the best. This is a top notch dealer and the service department reigns supreme. Thank you all, for giving me faith in humanity and BMW. I love my car.

BMW dealership in Silver Spring... whew. It's been a LONG minute, but I had to come back because…read morethese other shops have been out here playing in my FACE. One thing about this location? The location itself is top tier. Super convenient and easy to get to, especially compared to some of these random dealerships way out in the cut. But unfortunately, convenience can only carry a place so far. The service department has always moved at turtle speed. The wait times are honestly ridiculous. And of course, nothing here is cheap. BMW service prices are already painful, but I used to tolerate it because the quality at least matched the price tag. Lately though? The little details are disappearing, and that's what worries me. Basic things like topping off the windshield washer fluid, properly washing the car, or even doing a decent vacuum job are being skipped or half done. If corners are being cut on the obvious stuff I can see, it makes me question what's happening with the actual maintenance and repairs I can't see. At this point, I genuinely have PTSD dealing with BMW service departments. Every visit feels like stress, confusion, waiting, and wondering whether you're really getting what you paid for. SMH.

Koons Ford Silver Spring - Scratched rims

Purchased a used Mustang (certified) a few months ago…read more Good: Car came with the wrong tires (305mm versus 315mm) which I called to have corrected. The service manager (Scott) went to bat for me during multiple attempts to get the dealership to correct the issue (the vehicle should have the correct tire size if certified).....After about a week and a potential returning of the vehicle, the dealership replaced the tires. He deserves a medal for not only working with me, but truly working for me with the dealership leadership. Bad: Sales person quoted and even printed out the price of the vehicle. When I return 3 days later to purchase, he handed me another purchase agreement that was almost 5K higher. When I showed them the original form, they reluctantly honored it (but clearly he was trying to scam me). I don't care if this was him or the finance team...that was SHADY. Screwed the temp plate on the car crooked and even drilled holes in the plastic wrong. Forgot to give me my registration. Called upon return to home and it took him almost a week to get it to me. Horrible communication and professionalism. Observed another sales agent start ranting about a customer (who I assume) didn't come in to do a deal? He was literally yelling and stomping around in the front of the dealership while me and my family just sat there and watched. No one at the front table ever attempted to calm him down or apologize for the outburst. I understand the frustration, but again...very unprofessional to not ask your employee to calm down and maybe step outside. I think overall the experience was satisfactory. I just believe that sales agents (especially) should be the utmost professionals and carry the water for the company.

Massively lacking communication skills plus high prices = Horrible customer experience…read more Communication from a service writer to customer is almost non existent. They will not come talk to you while you wait IN THE SAME ROOM AS THE EMPLOYEES. Instead, you will receive a text or a form email. Texting and phone calls when you are not waiting on the premises is unprofessional, unclear and vague. Little to no problem solving is demonstrated. I have seen the customer service here slip from ok with expensive prices in 2019 to expensive and frustrating in 2025. Side note: new VW sales are in the same room. Salespeople did not have customers to interact with when I was present. They were loudly socializing with other employees, and one salesperson shouted "What up, my N- slur?!" As a form of greeting to an African American co worker. This appeared to be fine in their friend group, but I did not find that interaction appropriate in a public space in a place of business. Bring your VW here if you don't need your car for days or if you like sitting in a lobby for hours with no information.

JORDAN was really helpful with getting me through paperwork and finance side. They both were very patient and went above and beyond for me (I did a total of 4 test drives over 2 days). The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because they do financing at Toyota and it took over 1.5 hours to start the buying process after already being there for 3.5 hours.
