I have an older home that seems to require more attention every year…read more Many times it has been a plumbing issue, and sadly I've always had bad luck with plumbers. NOT ANY MORE! Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy. He figured out immediately the best approach to get the clog out. And he showed me the images with a special camera down in the drain. He's by far the most considerate person I've ever had over here. My two dogs were especially bad and barked terrible at him.. and he remained calm, relaxed and pleasant. He even saved one of them out in the street because I had left the gate open. Not only are they great people at Mother's, but they charged less than any others that I checked. I checked a lot. The 1st plumbing company that I called required a fee just to come and look at the problem, for an estimate of what the actual job will cost.. their estimate fee was about the same as Mother's full fee was for doing the entire job, with no estimate fee charged. I LOVE Mother's Modern Plumbing.

Very disappointing experience with Mother's Plumbing…read more Willie came to our home for manufacturer warranty work on a tankless water heater that is only about two years old. From the beginning, the visit felt focused on upselling and recommending additional work rather than simply addressing the warranty repair. After getting other opinions and comparing pricing, we decided to hire a different company. The quotes I received from Mother's Plumbing were more than double what I found elsewhere for comparable work. What concerned me most was that Willie later showed up at my home without an appointment, phone call, or any prior discussion with me, apparently intending to install a part. I found that extremely unprofessional. Overall, the entire experience left me with the impression that the priority was getting me to spend as much money as possible rather than helping resolve the actual issue. I was very disappointed with the pricing, communication, and overall experience, and I would not recommend this company.

Absolutely outstanding service from Legacy Plumbing!…read more I had what I thought was going to be a simple toilet repair, but it turned out the toilet itself needed to be replaced due to some poor craftsmanship from previous companies. The last homeowner had a cheap toilet installed, which created more problems than expected. Jake was fantastic throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what I was paying for rather than just pushing me toward the most expensive solution. What really impressed me was that Jake worked the cost of the work they had already completed into the replacement toilet, which saved me a significant amount of money. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the service and the unexpected issue we ran into. Great communication, fair pricing, excellent workmanship, and genuinely great customer service. I would absolutely recommend Legacy Plumbing, and especially Jake, to anyone who needs a plumber. Five stars all around!

The owner Aaron contacted me through Yelp to reply to my review. We spoke and he gave me several…read morepersonal reasons they muffed the job. That did not excuse the work or the misdiagnosis, which is why this is not a solid 5 star review. He offered to refund the detailed inspection charge to satisfy me and I agreed. He told me that he would send me a check I asked if he had the address he said yes. I really thought I could give him a positive follow-up for making things right and here we are a month later and I have received the check. He also refunded the charge for what they did fix as part of a good faith gesture which I appreciate very much. The reasons for changing the review to 4 stars are clearly about the integrity of Aaron the owner of Anchor Plumbing. First, not to go into personal details, he shared the reasons he was not available to his team during the repair visit. If he had been available I am positive we would have achieved a much better result. Emergencies are just that. It doesn't excuse the issue. What it does is more important. A small business owner who even looks at the Yelp reviews I have been publishing these many years is reassuring. Especially when we are looking for tradesmen who come into our homes. The fact that Aaron took full responsibility and followed through is gratifying to me and for anyone reading this you can be sure this business stands by their work and they do not ghost their customers when things go sideways Thank you Anchor Plumbing. Excellence in customer service cannot be taught easily many business owners either don't know its importance or they just don't care. Anchor Plumbing is a generational business founded by Aaron's grandfather and passed to his father and now to himself. I am quite sure he learned the value of excellence in customer service before he could hold a wrench. JCG
