We stopped in Searcy for my mom's graduation and stumbled upon this gem of a spot afterward. The restaurant has a fun, quirky theme--Alaskan, which immediately gave me Penguin Ed's vibes. I love when a place leans into something unique. I ordered the medium chicken dumplings, Russian style. The portion was fair, and overall the dish was enjoyable. The curry base was flavorful, and the presentation was warm and inviting. That said, it's not something I'd eat every day. The dill was a bit overpowering in some bites, making it hard to pick up the actual flavor of the chicken, which also got lost a bit in the thick dumpling casing. My nana went the opposite route and got the beef and pork dumplings, Alaskan style. Hers had a spicier kick, which I liked, but the same issue persisted--hard to taste the meat clearly through the breading. Between the two, I preferred the Russian style.

Food packed with flavor, if you like dumplings this is a must try. It's a hipster feeling of old school vibe. Low key and homey is the feeling when you walk in the door.

Cute place! Great for coffee, board games, listening to records, and relaxing. Didnt have a lot of dumpling options but it tastes good and the service is great.

Dumplings Russian Style on the left and Alaskan on the right. They were filled with potato and cheese.

Great Russian dumplings in the middle of Arkansas. My kids loved the atmosphere and so did I. The service was great too! It was our first time there and our host answered all our questions!

Delicious, stick to your ribs goodness. I had the potato dumplings, Alaskan style, and they were amazing. My grandson had chicken, Alaskan style, and really enjoyed them. We loved the quirky, Alaskan decor and friendly service. We try to eat at locally owned, small restaurants, that take pride in what they serve. This checks all the boxes. We'll be back!

Really interesting eclectic mountaineer/rural/Alaska decor theme inside. Simple menu- three choices of dumplings at a half pound quantity for $9. Choose from beef, chicken, or potato. Original sauce is thin and spicy. Sweet and tangy sauce to me is like the original sauce but with a sriracha type mild sweetness with some garlic to it. Both too spicy for me. They serve coffee drinks and have some canned sodas as well. The dumplings take about ten minutes to prepare and come in a Chinese food takeout style container with half a piece of Rye bread on top. They come roaring hot and are topped with cilantro and curry powder as well (??). These unique dumplings were absolutely delicious! They were soft and so very flavorful.

Absolutely loved the potato dumplings Alaskan style. I'd eat it again and again. My friend got the special, honey chipotle I think. She liked it alot, said it was spicy though so be prepared. The vibe was very cool. It's a hole in the wall type place that had amazing service, a cool atmosphere and great food. I'll be back.

It was incredible and had a beautiful design with the frothed milk. My boyfriend got a hot woodsman, which is a macadamia nut, maple syrup, and cinnamon coffee served hot with frothed milk as well. It was also very good the leading flavor was macadamia nut. We also got a cheesecake slice with chocolate and caramel syrup on top which was also very good but a little frozen, definitely a none bake cheesecake. There is a selection of board games and card games available to play indoors as well as a ping-pong table outside. And tons of seating options. The vibes in this coffee shop were truly immaculate. If you enjoy local art, there are a lot of beautiful painting throughout the Cafe that can be purchased as well if one catches your eye. It is a little on the pricey side but well worth it for the atmosphere and quality of the food and coffee. I got the woodsman latte (macadamia nut, maple, and cinnamon) and it was such a delicious drink. I wish I lived in Searcy to be able to be a regular at this place. Also, service was quick and easy! Got there just before a small crowd of college kids came in. Definitely popular with Harding University goers. They have a little shelf with games that are free to play with and outdoor seating with hanging lights. It also looked like there was a little stage out back for live music even. Next time I visit Searcy I know where to get coffee.

The sandwich was my first time at Starbucks. Overall, it was surprisingly delicious. Partially because it was prepared with love by these baristas. I would like to see little more cheese added to the sandwich for thickness and volume. Staff is so helpful here. The place looks and feels clean. They offer nine tables with roughly twenty chairs. It's a large space for this location. Only thing I think they need is more seating options to fill in the voided spaces. Otherwise, definitely recommend for you to stop by and enjoy your stay. After all, who on Earth would expect to find a world class roaster, and I do mean "World Class", their Roast Master is a prodigally gifted roaster and everyone is astonishingly well versed in the language of coffee bean, stashed away in a sleepy little place where there's more cows than people? A back story originating in Seattle Washington at the dawn of the gourmet coffee frenzy with connections to a start up company that would go on to become the juggernaut of caffeine, Starbucks. You can ask for the full story in person, as to how such refined and exquisite coffee roasting somehow ended up amongst the cows and rural stretches of lonely highway.
