Regardless of the one star review, we decided to give Kotaro a try (also, they are the only Japanese place around). We were very pleased. All the orders came with a LOT of food (only one of the four of us could finish all of it in one sitting- but the leftovers are delicious!). If you go expecting an actual hibachi experience/food, you'll be disappointed. If you go expecting a fast-food version of yummy hibachi, you'll be pleased. We will be returning anytime we are in town for a visit. Everything we ordered was good and we would recommend ordering extra yum yum sauce (it comes with one serving, extra servings = $.25/ea). read more

Seems odd for such a little drive through place, but the food is fantastic! Have ordered the hibachi combos several times. Whether chicken, steak, or seafood - delicious & plentiful! 12-8-16. Wish I had of taken a photo! We got hibachi chicken, had to wait about 15 minutes (in our car) 90% of meal was 'fried' rice. Very little chicken, the sweet carrots consisted of broccoli, carrots and zucchini. The 'fried' rice had clumps of totally white rice that had no soy sauce mixed in. First time in a year I have been there. Possibly new owners? I ordered a dragon roll, lobster roll, Boston roll sushi, an egg roll, and a cheeseburger. First thing when I get home, I realized they forgor my $4 egg roll. I tried calling to tell them, but their English is so broken, I couldnt get anywhere with them. The burger was out of this world delicious! The lobster and dragon rolls were the worst I have ever tasted. They were very hot, and tasted as if someone had sprayed them with some kind of cleaning chemical. What a disappointment to wait 20 minutes to pay for a meal I had ordered 30 minutes before, just to get it home and throw $25 worth of food away. Its so pricey, so it would be a disgrace for it to be anything but out of this world. The burger was only about $7, and it was the best ive ever had. Its pretty bad that a hibachi grill has better burgers than anything else. read more
