This place is really cool on the inside. The rock & roll theme makes it a nice spot to come and hang out with your friends and family. I walked in, and got seated quickly. The service was quick and efficient. The sushi was fresh and delicious, as was the appetizer(crispy wontons). I hope to return when I'm back in the area. read more

I'm giving them 4 stars though it could have easily been 3. The salmon nigiri was THIN. The rolls were ok (hence the 4 rating) but if you can't do salmon nigiri right then you're just not a sushi restaurant. read more

So if you are a sushi purest... this ain't it BUT THAT'S OKAY! I read the other reviews and think some come from a place of being a sushi purest or from a small town and shocked by what may seem as a very high price. I get it. But I believe this place is actually quite great! The ambience may not be my liking (it's a hard core rock n roll themed place) but I could see this place thriving if it were marketed as a sports sushi bar (they've got tons of TVs to use!) Food wise it was quite an adventure! We got the Twisted Tuna, Punk Rock Roll, Crowd Surfer, Tourbus, and Mochi (which I got for free as a birthday gift). The rolls have lots of toppings and unique flavors. The twisted tuna was like a sushi version of chips and dip! The service was sweet as the lady was the one who informed me about the free appetizer on my birthday. It was a wonderful experience and I hope more people give this place a try! 3 specialty rolls and an appetizer cost me around $60 before tips. read more

Welcome to Conway's Rock n Roll sushi. I've not been to other Rock n roll sushi so I really looked forward to this visit. I do enjoy sushi but did not expect this to be the same quality as going to a Japanese restaurant. The combinations were interesting with a bit of a southern flair (crawfish and crawfish seasoning). The rolls were not bad. I will not say they are the greatest but for what most people are looking for in a fun funky atmosphere it was fine. My only complaint is that the service was meh. I walked in and went to the bar and wasn't greeted at the door. The staff was almost seemed put out. They did just enough. Once my order was taken and I asked for a drink while I waited (I made a to go order) I was asked "if water was ok" I understand that this is a dry county, so I wonder if this is just customary instead of giving a menu or suggesting a specialized beverage. My waitperson then disappeared. I sat 20-30 minutes waiting for order. I asked one of the 3 wandering wait persons who did not acknowledge my presence about my order. She checked the 2 orders that were sitting and waiting. She then ask me my name, which the wait person who disappeared did take. She then asked me what was on my order because there was one without a name. As I struggled to remember the order since I hadn't been there before... we finally realized this was my order. The variety of rolls was impressive, many beyond the normal. Great sides - salad, rice, all that. The design scheme of the place was legit, it reminded me of Guitar Hero. My family visited for lunch on yesterday and decided to eat on the patio since the weather was nice. The patio area has a few tables but several sofas areas for conversation. We did not wait long for seating and our waitress was out soon after to take our order. The resteraunt wasn't packed but there was a nice crowd of people at this time. The resteraunt and bar area looked very clean, but the bathrooms had a bad smell and needed to be cleaned. We ordered the sampler, electric and Boston evasion sushi platters. My husband also ordered an alcoholic drink (not pictured) - it was really good as well. The sampler had jalapeño poppers stuffed with crab and they were amazing! Wontons again stuffed with crab, and tempura shrimp and Eggrolls. Everything was hot, fried soft and delicious. We enjoyed their take on some of our favorite food items. My husband ordered the electric sushi which has jalapeños, and crab. It was listed as being spicy and I do not care for spicy foods, but I tried his and it was not. I think the spice may just be in the jalapeños. We really liked the creaminess of the crab paired with the sushi rolls. It was super yummy. I ordered the British Invasion and I really enjoyed mine as well. Mine had a bit of avocado, tempura shrimp, eel and salmon. Everything was fresh, super large portion and delicious! So decided to beat the crowd to Rock N Roll sushi and go to lunch. Dinner wait is still way to long for me to wait. So it was my birthday and the wife said let's go. We were seated quickly and service was great. The lunch crowd showed up In force quickly soon after! So get there at 11! We ordered 4 rolls. Each of the rolls showed up quickly. Super good food the first time we went. However, the second time we went, they changed their recipes, went up on price, and they removed some things from the original menu. It didn't taste as good the second time. Tea was SUPER sweet the second time we dined there. When we asked for less sweet tea, they gave us unsweetened tea and told us to dilute it ourselves. So my sis and I went to try out the new Rock n Roll Sushi restaurant in Conway tonight. Our food came out piping hot and was so good. Best fried rice I think I've ever had. Didn't even touch my yum yum sauce. I had THRILLER ROLL (FRIED) Scary good. Shrimp tempura and cream cheese inside, fully fried, then topped with baked krabmeat, spicy mayo,eel sauce and crunchy flakes. We got our food within 10 minutes from ordering... talk about fast. And restaurant was packed. Unfortunately I only ate half my fried rice and two pieces of my sushi because I got full to fast, shouldn't have eaten 3 wontons. We also got the appetizer sampler and they gave us 3-4 wontons, 4 jalapeño poppers (these were okay imo), 1 eggroll that was cut in half and 3 TNT shrimps - so it was a pretty good quantity for two. First impressions are only made once. We were seated right away, had a small wait for the waiter to come by. She took our order and was away. Twenty-five minutes later she returned with two of our orders and half of mine. She was about to leave when I told her half was missing. She said she would be "right back" with it. Ten minutes later she shows up with the order (two pieces of sushi). Long and wrong kills your business. There wasn't anything special about the food and the poor service experience has us going elsewhere. The manager comped the meal and offered anything on the menu but we didn't have the time to waste. For the prices they charge there are other restaurant options to choose from that are higher quality. The service here is a bit lacking. Wow!! Between our group got chicken, lobster, and steak hibachi, the soup, salad, and multiple rolls. Everything was great. Every staff we had an encounter with was so nice.
