The last time I went to Skyways to eat dinner was well before their refurbishment. Upon entering the venue I was happy to see the place thriving and full of lively conversation. Myself and the two people I was with were approached by a young waitress and indicated we would like a table for three. The waitress took a moment to survey the floor, pacing up and down one of the aisles, before selecting a table for us in the far corner, against the wall, right in between the male and female toilets. When we asked if we could be moved to another table, we were told she would come back and shift us when a table became free. There was a perfectly good 6-seater table on the outskirts of the dining area we could have been sat at - and I know this is not usually how it's done, but it's better than sticking your clientele in front of the toilet doors - but there were no efforts made to re-seat us or make sure we were comfortable.
After an incredibly brief glance at the menu, which was incredibly uninspiring, we decided to leave the venue. Definitely would not recommend - not even to my worst enemy. read more
