Although, I am led to believe if you pay a higher price, it's much more extravagant, that's to be expected, it's a wedding after all. The atmosphere is cosy, with fantastic lighting and is seemingly ambient. Candles lit on every table were charming. It's beautifully setup. The waitresses were tremendously well dressed and smiled all the time which added to the experience. I was impressed with the lovely decor, falling chandeliers, well placed mirrors and the spacious dance floor. The most iconic element Sheldon Reception bring to the table is the grand staircase. You will be impressed, just as I was impressed with the waitresses. Now why is it I can't find waitresses like these in the real world? One can dream I guess. The food was tasty and filling, and if you wanted another meal which was served with two options, the staff would happily accommodate which shows Sheldon is flexible and cater well for their audience. Oh, and don't forget the fully serviced bar! Car park is in abundance and during the hours I was there, I couldn't find a negative and trust me, I tried, which is a credit to this business. If you were having second thoughts about having your wedding at Sheldon Reception, you can have piece of mind that it has high standards and I'm confident they will have your perfect day sorted. It's professional and I have the feeling they would go above and beyond to accommodate for your needs. With good company and lovely waitresses, the 5 hours I spent at Sheldon Reception felt like a few minutes. Highly recommended!

They are so accommodating, very professional and amazing service! Also very importantly they are flexible!! They did very well when a curve ball is thrown and things don't go to plan, they are able to overcome it and make it like nothing went wrong! The food was in abundance and delicious! The bride and groom are treated like royalty and anything that I asked for was done immediately! Very affordable prices and a beautiful menu! There are no frills, no hidden costs, very straight forward and open with what is/isn't included. They go over and above to make your day perfect. Thank you Sheldon! Highly recommended!
