Skyway Park Bowl recently hosted my party of 30+ bowlers and we had a great time! Shoutout to Robin and Kevin for taking care of us. We had a huge party that wanted to bowl and so we called and reserved some lanes weeks in advance. They got us a decent price - prepaying for two games, and also had a food buffet option, which was delicious. I'm not sure what the average price for bowling is nowadays but we paid $12/person for two games and shoes, and $14/person for the buffet. The bowling machinery worked well for the most part. Although it's design is a bit outdated, everything worked perfectly and we never had to bother the staff to fix any lanes. The food was pretty good, we went for some Chinese comfort foods which you can never go wrong with. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star review is due to having an extremely rude encounter with one of the workers at the bar. I was requesting to order more food, and at this time I didn't realize it was an unlimited buffet, I thought we had just ordered a la carte, and so when I asked to order more, the worker continually made me feel stupid by giving me condescending questions on why I was trying to pay. If she simply explained to me that we had an unlimited buffet (which no one explained to me) and that I didn't need to pay, that would've been the end of it. But she had to patronize me and gave me a glare on top of it. Really wish this encounter didn't have to go this way. Overall, I'm happy with the service we got at Skyway Bowl from Robin, Kevin and the team. This is a solid, old school spot for bowling that gets the job done. read more

The place itself is not bad. Pros: Inexpensive bowling Inexpensive food Decent bowling alley Cons: Service was meh. The lady working in the bar tried so hard, but we had a group of 100 (fundraiser) and it was hard to keep up with so many orders. I wated 30 plus minutes to order food and drinks (not exaggerating), finally she comped my drinks. The tall gentleman that gave us our shoes was in a really bad mood. Yet, he did make an announcement about kid's bowling balls and reminded people if they are leaving early, that they did pay for 2 games. So.... conflicted on that one. Would I come back? Nope. Area doesn't really feel safe at night, service was not there - but if I wanted cheap drinks and decent bowling - I would. Why 4 stars? I've been coming to Skyway Bowl for many years. More recently I've been going there during their happy hour for drinks. Sometimes service is a bit slow because they always seem to have only one server and that one server is tending to the bar as well as the bowling area. Went there the other day and a roach decided to come have a drink too. Told the bartender and the response was "I kill these every day". Clearly that was my cue to go. read more

Perhaps one of the stranger bowling options in Seattle -- or rather, just south of the city limits in lovely Skyway. It's cheap and psychedelically colorful, and Thursdays are "Ladies night" with free shoe rentals and three free games for the ladies. But Skyway Park Bowl is more than just a bowling alley -- see, there's dilapidated indoor mini-golf, too! And cheap beer. And people-watching. And karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. And pool. And gambling. And did I mention the people-watching? Hoo-wee. It gets weird in these parts. UPDATE: Turns out the mini-golf must have gotten too dilapidated, because the golfing area is now walled off and under construction. Also, the scene on a Friday night is INSANE. There's a Thai karaoke crew that takes over the lounge, and you can bowl in the blacklight with disco lights going around and crazy LCD lights zooming up the sides of the lanes. It might not be the fanciest, the cleanest, or the most exciting but it certainly makes up for cheap, pure bowling fun. Lanes here are pretty cheap, I paid $5.49 for 3 games including shoes. How can you beat that? There's a bar and service to the lanes, food is decent and filling, and drinks aren't too expensive either. We had a great time here on a weekday after league play and the lanes were pretty empty. Overall, you can't beat the price and drinks. This place is a fun time and a nice find in South Seattle! read more

Ok, I feel split down the middle about this place. Starting with the bad: Before the smoking ban passed, this place was a smog house. Most everyone in this joint smoked and I couldn't leave the place without my clothes reeking of smoke. Thank goodness, it's gone. It doesn't have one, but TWO casinos (or one split in 2). Not sure if smoking is allowed in those. The crowd is usually ghetto and sometimes loud. Once in a while you can hear someone swearing. The [only] good is that: it kind of feels like home. I bowled here ALOT when I was younger -- several leagues. Time machine! Lockers used to line where the casino was and the east section used to be all lanes like the west section. They did renovate the lanes and get synthetic about 10 years ago. Perhaps the only nice thing I can say about it, unfortunately. I have memories there... but that's about it! ;) read more

Before I start the review let me just brag a little...185! My highest score thus far! I am no pro bowler but once every 3 months or so, I can play fabulously and shock people when they've seen how I lazily toss the ball down the lane and get a 185. Ok...I went here on a Thursday night and I had a good experience here. I believe they have Quartermania here too but the cover charge is a tad bit more than other bowling places I've been too. The lanes seem well-oiled and I know that only because my bowling ball came back slicker than when I threw it down the lane. There is a also a disco ball above the lanes so you can get your groove on while you wait for your turn. As for bowling food, not the healthiest stuff but if you bowl long enough, you'll burn the calories you took in. Maybe. Anyway, 185! read more

This is probably the best kept secret in the Seattle area. We went bowling with a large group on a Wednesday night & it was $2/game (I think). They had tons of lanes, a bar & plenty of shoe sizes. Its a pretty big place & fairly well maintained. Some of the tvs were on the fritz but it was still super fun & hella cheap. This is always a fun spot. I have not been in a hot minute but I know that they still have probably the cheapest and most inexpensive games in town along with their little casino over at the end of the property. Everyone here is pretty friendly. The lanes aren't the best but they're sturdy. Hopefully I can come again between 5-7PM during the week, not on a Friday bc that's pretty much the same as the weekend rates, for their free bowling. We always have a good time bowling. This is a fun family spot and it's a lot of fun with friends too. I can't wait to go back with our group of friends again. We took up a couple of lanes and had a blast, all night long! read more

To call this place ghetto would be too big of a compliment. Memo to the patrons of the area, why are your single digit aged children hanging out with you in a bowling alley at midnight or later on a school night watching you pound Hennessy? Take some money out of your liquor and cigarette budgets and hire a babysitter! Anyway, I was surprised to find the lanes in such good shape. Nice oil and weren't "bumpy." Came in on a Thursday night and walked into their 9pm-1am bowl all you can including shoe rental for $6. Can't beat that deal ANYWHERE around the sound. Drinks are poured really heavy here, and the group of 16 year old girls next to my group were drinking shots all night, and three of them ended up puking all over the bathroom (or so I was told by the waitress, who continued to serve them drinks AFTER the puking incident took place) so obviously checking ID's isn't nearly as important as the bottom line. This place would have been 3 stars for the bowling deal, and the condition of the lanes, but they lose a star for the environment and clientele. They are lucky they didn't lose more. I usually don't advise bowling in a flak jacket, but you just might have to here. read more

i dont know about you guys but when we go for our daily bowling with friends, the staff are always happy to see us :D Cheap bowling ! and ive grown up coming to skyway since teens, still a lot of fun when youre with good company. looks like theres a new casino that joined on the left and a small karaoke on the right as youre coming in. drinks theres buckets you could get, pitchers of water n soda or beer, and for their asian food side i would suggest requesting not salty before you order ! Was not sure what to expect when came here on a Saturday night to bowl. The bowling alley is attached to a casino. Pulling up there is a huge parking lot. And not sure if it makes me feel safe but there was a lot of security presence(Security guards, bouncer and cops). The price is great!! Super affordable. Unlike some of the other hipper bowling alleys. The service was great. Looked like one lady was running the front. Checked us in, and then also served us our beer. She was great at knowing when to stop by! I will say there is nothing fancy about this place. But if looking just for some basic bowling this is your place! read more

skyway definitely doesn't hold the best reputation in the greater seattle area for the "safest place to bowl" but ya know what? this is my neighborhood that i grew up in and i love this place. recent renovations makes it a bit more family friendly and what makes this place the best of the bowling alleys is the bang for your buck! acme bowl charges around $30 an hour plus $4.50 for shoes. Lucky Strike charges up to $70 an hour plus $5.50 for shoes. all the while - skyway charges $15 an hour including 4 pairs of shoes! that's what bowling should be! cheap fun! given that the score boards aren't in the best shape nor are all the balls... but i've never gone there and had a bad time. you can also get $6 or $7 shots of grey goose or crown royal - $9 pitchers of beer and the fried foods are always on point. not a fan of bowling? hit the casino! plenty of tables for pai gow, black jack, poker, and if you don't like that - there is also 4 coin operated pool tables. its all good in the hood! read more

This place is GHETTO! And I love it. Too many bowling alleys think they can charge an arm and a leg for bowling these days because they have a blacklight and dodgy music playing at 7pm. Not this place. CHEAP. Wifey & I bowled for 2 hours, with shoes and a pitcher of beer- and it was about $30 total. Same thing at other places would cost you $50+. Yeah- they might have a sign on the door stating that no bloodied clothes may be worn into the bowling alley (and casino)- but that just adds character. In fact- they would prefer no shirt than a bloodied shirt. The Casino.... The casino get no stars. What a dump. Went there after bowling and lost $200 in about 5 minutes playing blackjack. Perhaps that's how the bowling alley makes their money? Asian thug dude sitting next to me at the table was pissed that I sat down at his table for some reason (maybe Whitey is bad luck?)- all 5"0' of him was mad about something. He refused to play while I was at the table and kept glaring at me.... I didn't feel threatened at all but wifey was getting a bad vibe from the dude. We boogied out of there after I lost my $200- I don't think I'll go to the casino again. Crap luck and a lot of locals there with bad attitudes. Bowling Alley- five stars Casino- no stars. I had a great night out without having to drive far. The atmosphere was fitting for the age of the building. The man behind the counter was very nice and informed us about their free bowling from 5-7:30 Monday-Thursday, which I thought was really cool. We came in at 7:25pm and there were still lanes available. Free bowling was just ending, but we had planned to spend some money anyway. By 8pm my friend and I were the only two people bowling. He did the math to see if it was more logical/economical for us to buy an hour or purchase two games. It felt like he was making an attempt to upsell us, but he was right. We got to enjoy ourselves for the whole hour and play 2.5 games verse the 40 minutes it took us to complete two games. This place sucks. Employees are rude and do not know how to give change. Even though they have a cash register, calculator and a cellphone to help them figure it out. They also make you prepay for your bowling. Who knows how many games your gonna play? Parking lot is super sketchy and the food is gross. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

There's not much to say except how cheap bowling is. Every day they have different deals (like Ladie's Night, Men's night, etc).... I went recently this past friday which was $15 for an hour, including 4 shoes... sometimes, they just give you free shoes too. But we had that, and they have a bar... which (the bar has better music) friday they have deals! 50% off shots! I was pumped cuz it was only $2.50 for my shot of Henny. Anyways, aside from the bar, they have a casino on one end, a very "mini" arcade, and some boater Asian karaoke wanna be club hahahaha. That's usually Friday's I think. But I love this place because it's great service, cheap, and I love the diversity here. People say it's ghetto, it is. But home is where the heart is, and it's here for me ;) read more

Had great time with friends and bowl was fun, only issue was the lane was constantly running into issues and causing delay in our play.

For all the bad that has happened here, (multiple shootings). Which is more an issue of the neighborhood and underfunded police force in the area than the bowling alley itself, this place is iconic. It has been here forever and was one of the first casinos in the state of Washington. Dave Pardy Sr. met his wife here before he owned the casino and has been the careful caretaker and manager for decades. Even though it is not the same neighbor hood it's still a fun place to hang out. The casino is average but the Chinese food is still very good. I recommend the General Tso's Chicken, it has just the right ammount of flavor and spice. The staff that work there are fun and good as well. read more

This is probably the closest bowling alley to my home thus the reason why we bowl here. Well maybe that's not the only reason why we bowl here. Prices are dirt cheap! Tonight was a special $10 per person plus you get a small soda and wings. Well I didn't want wings but I wanted dessert so she sub my wings for ice cream. Yeeeeeah! Oh and shoes were included! We did a few shot of grey goose that were $4.25 each!!!!!!!! The only cons about this place is the people and that they only have one 11lb. ball! Good thing I found the 11lb. ball first! HA! They don't even have enough bowling shoes for people to wear. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and the workers clearly don't want to be here either. Its always a great time every time I spend the night here at Skyway Park Bowl with my friends.. They always come here every other week to play. This place is a lot cheaper than Acme bowl.. But I only rated 3 stars because its not the perfect place to bowl.. If you have a date and trying to hit this place, hmm you might wanna go to a different spot.. Most of the time when I order food, they took so long to serve it.. The waiter keeps asking me personal question and tryna hit on me. I bet he does that to every customer. Okay yes..this is not the greatest or nicest alley but if you're on a budget, this is your best bet! The most affordable bowling alley in the Seattle/Renton area. I believe when I went on a Saturday night it was $20 per hour per lane for however many people. You still have to pay for shoes though. However, like many other places they have different deals throughout the week and this place has some sweet deals. Don't bother calling ahead of time because it's pretty open I'll let ya that lol probably because people are under the impression that this alley is super ghetto and that they'll get shot or whatever. Cmon now. If you don't cause any problems there won't be any! I bring my little brothers here and they are all under the age of 18. We enjoy our time here. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! If you're not trying to spend 100+ dollars for a big group on a weekend, come here and stop hesitating! read more

It was fine. Used a Groupon for bowling and beer so the price was cheap. The bar, however, wasn't open when it was supposed to be so we had to wait for them to arrive, but it wasn't a huge inconvenience. When we arrived and it was still empty, the clerk seemed more interested with getting the Indiana v Michigan St basketball game on the TV than assisting, but to be fair he was hustling around as it got more busy. I still don't understand why he got bent out of shape when we wanted to throw practice balls considering we're paying by the hour and not by the frame. I mean, if we sat there and did nothing, the time would have kept ticking away. So what difference does practice rounds make. The environment itself could use some work. It's clear the owner doesn't care to invest in the business in terms of upkeep. Many of the bowling balls are in rough shape, especially not having grips which will definitely scratch up your fingers if you use them. If you have a choice and there's another bowling alley near you and you're willing to pay a little more for quality, you should try another place. If money is the only factor, this place will do. read more

My favorite spot for bowling just alot of memories here. I've put in alot of hours here the staff is really nice. If you want to learn how to bowl come here. It's not the nicest place but it's home court. The area is a little sketch so don't expect anything fancy around here. Also maybe the occasional shooting. read more

Came here to enjoy my brother in laws birthday and was surprised to find out that the advertising of there restaurant is at closing however when we went in there ( full of people ) they were all of a sudden closed at 8:00pm. Now if that doesn't make sense the next part will raise an eyebrow. The waitress came out to inform us that the cook picks and chooses who he wants to cook for, and not only that he also drinks on the job! So he rather make you food from the snack bar then to actually make you something from their restaurant . I have been bowling (league) at Skyway for approx (3 years now) and with Ownership changes there is always a 'holding pattern - who and what's on next ~) but I like the employees and I like the atmosphere. It continues to change each year. That change comes from networking and getting 'others' to try it out. You can't incorporate versatility, multi-cultural exposure unless you bring it...By the way the FOOD is 'G-R-E-A-T ( I even come some evenings to get dinner :)..I love my league and the people !!... When it comes to the South Seattle, I like this facility for bowling. Truthfully, at first this place might scare you, especially with media involved but like any other place, the more you visit and become a 'regular', it becomes a nice place. The pro shop operator is a friendly person who knows his stuff, he sells all kinds of stuff and can help with your bowling. Overall, a good experience. read more

Every time i suggest to go bowl here because i so much rather bowl here than expensive Acme Bowl, the immediate respond would be "I don't want to get shot". Just because it's in the hood doesn't mean you are going to die, at least not today. Haha. How i think of it is since it's such a high crime neighborhood, there's always cops rolling around so no need to fear for your life. Families come here, way more than gangsters do and it's so cute to see the little kids bowl and have parties here!
