The…read morespace is just right for our large family to have seating, 4 buffet tables, space for photo backdrops and a table for gifts. Accommodates up to 72 people. The high ceiling and 3 large, glass roll down garage doors make the space feel super big and bright. We have been here in summer when they were opened up and the kids were able to run and play in the real grass field right next to the building. In late fall with the doors closed it is very warm and cozy inside, even with the entrance door open. There is a small kitchen in the corner complete with sink, glass stove top and oven plus counter space. No refrigerator that I noticed though so bring your coolers and ice. There is plenty of parking with large enough spots to easily accommodate a large SUV and open doors comfortably. Inside there are two restrooms, one for men and women, not unisex, but they have a changing table (at least the women's restroom did). The building is adjacent to a small park. It's nice but be sure to not leave any valuables in your car as there can be some shady characters hanging about. After our event was done it helps to have family/ friends pitch in for the quick cleanup. Tables and chairs need to be stacked into their trolleys and the floors quickly swept. They provide the cleaning stuff like the large sweeper, etc. many hands make light work so for our large party clean up only took about 15 minutes. It's a good thing to model respect for the venue space to the littles and have the kids help out with clean up. Make it a game and it's even easier. Overall this is a great venue and we would definitely come back again.

Most recently we had a baby shower "Ahoy it's a boy" themed party. I called about 4 weeks before to reserve the space for about $200 for 5 hours. The representative was professional and easy to work with. On the day of the event, the attendee met me about a hour before and stayed on the property until after the event. I love this venue because outside there is a playground for the kids, there are huge windows that open up as doors to the outside, and they provide tables, chairs and there's a fridge, oven and kitchen space. No microwave! The party was a huge success and everyone had a great time. We will most likely reserve again for future events. I love the location in Auburn it's easy to get to and in the middle of Tacoma and Seattle. You can bring your own music, coolers and decorations. Must have painters tape or blue tape for the walls if you put up decor. No alcohol unless you have a permit. The street to turn on to get to the venue was extremely dark and hard to find, and required me circling the block a bit. On the other hand, parking wasn't bad. There were several parking spots right outside the venue, but also there was easy street parking in the area. They have a nice bar area with seating, a kitchen area for food that you could hold just enough people to grab food, and a large main space that was pretty good for dance party. The ceiling of the main space was basically two floors, which at least for our party meant the lighting was kinda strange. My only real complaint is the bathroom situation. Basically, there are two bathrooms in the entire venue. Not bathroom *areas* or mens/womens, but literally two toilets. For our large group, it was technically sufficient, although we seemed to run out of toilet paper a couple hours in, but it did mean lines. I was not privy to details like the cost or the actual number of attendees, so I don't know how much it was "worth it" in that sense, but we had a good time.

A lot of the photos our guests took look genuinely professional because the settings were so gorgeous. Marylou was a huge help. In the months leading up the wedding, she promptly responded to my many questions via both text and email. She met with my caterer and my day-of coordinator and gave them tours of the venue. On the day of, she spent far longer than the time expected of her. In fact, she was up late the night before pressing linens and when I arrived an hour early (which she okayed even though it wasn't within the allotted) she and an assistant were already out setting up chairs and tables. In general, I found that Marylou was extremely dedicated to seeing that my vision for the day happened. She had a lot of expertise on how to handle logistics and make sure everything was actually doable, and then she did so much to help execute it on the day of. The only thing that upset me was that I didn't know upfront that I had to buy wedding insurance. It cost about $150 which wasn't terrible, but it was just one more thing to pay for and the bills really added up. Lastly, the bridal room and the reception tent are top notch. The bridal room is equipped with great lighting, four giant full-length mirrors, a bathroom, curtains for changing, a mini-fridge, and glasses for drinks! The tent has a great dance floor, the cutest lighting, and even fans built in to the ceiling. Marylou also has furniture like a bar and cake table which were very handy. I would recommend this venue to anyone that wants an outdoor wedding in the Seattle area.
