My car got broken into last night. 2 windows. GEICO wanted Safelite to come out next Thursday. I said heck no! I actually asked my ChatGPT if there are several options and Skylite Auto Glass was the first one so I said why not? Same day today was fixed! He was communicating all through the day when he would arrive and told me when he was done. It was incredible! An amazing job and he even cleaned up all the glass! My stress and my blood pressure was finally at ease. Thank you Khalid! Incredible job! read more

Excellent job! They are honest, quick and efficient to get my glass replaced the next day with a very fair price! I highly recommend to everyone! Thanks again! read more

Put in a request for a quote at 2:30am and received a quote before 3am, super responsive and quick to reply even on a Sunday. Scheduling was quick and easy, I was able to get a same day appointment. They provided a timeframe window of 10am to 12pm and got a call that they arrived at my home at 11:30am. Clean up and installation took about 30 minutes. Cost of the window and installation was $289. After taxes total came out to $314. For the convenience and ease of the window replacement, definitely worth it in my opinion. Would definitely recommend if you need a window replaced! Note I did get some quotes after I already scheduled the appointment, one quote came in at a lower price and one came in higher. read more

Khalid was great! Very communicative, quick, great service, and amazing price! Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Skylite Auto Glass. I looked into several local companies to repair my windshield which had a huge crack that had spread across it. Khalid immediately responded, was able to come out that SAME day, and arrived with a partner who together fixed my windshield in under an hour! For about 1/3 the price quoted by the most popular auto window replacement company seen on TV. He was very professional and responsive to all questions. read more

The team came to my house in San Francisco within two hours of my request. They replaced by windshield onsite plus fixed a couple of other minor things on my car included in the charge. Great customer service and super nice people. Highly recommend this service. read more

Fast response, good service. Skylite was booked through Yelp. They responded quickly and came over to fix a broken window. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional. Service was fast and they did a good job overall. The only thing that I think could improve is providing clarity that the original quote provided was for cash only. The price was quoted as 'total price' and they did not clarify it did not include an extra $30 credit card fee. Recommended, just make sure to get complete clarity on price before agreeing on service. read more

A bit difficult to find the glass for my car as it's a very specific and a bit older BMW. I put out an inquiry on Yelp and got multiple responses. I decided to go with Safelite due to the reasonable price and since they offer mobile services. I work from home but it's a bit tough to make it out during the day so this was a great plus for me. Thanks Khalid for going the extra mile to find the right glass for my car and fixing up my window! read more

Good price. They are on time and fast. I might choose this team again if glass is broken.

Strong five stars! Khalid did a professional work on the next day of the incident. Other glass shops did not have any openings for about 2 weeks. After two weeks after the work, a debris that was stuck somewhere came out and started to make noise. I messages Khalid and he came back in a few days. He turned a horrid experience to a pleasant surprise. read more

Good service, shows up when he says. Tells you upfront how much it's going to cost. As far as I can tell, did a great job. Would use again. Not a review of him - but when you get the messages sent to your phone, don't reply to that. It was a different business for me. Reply on the app. read more

I seriously never write reviews, but Khalid was amazing. I got bipped a few days before thanksgiving - he let me know that the OEM Tesla window i purchased had a scratch so he put a third party window in the same day i called him and then promised to replace to the OEM Tesla window when it came in. He came to San Francisco on January 11, 2024 to fulfill his promise, not only did he save my thanksigiving (as i had a road trip) by making sure i had window, he actually came through to replace the OEM Tesla window. I highly recommend Khalid read more

Skylite was a fast, affordable, and reliable source for auto glass replacement for our Subaru Crosstrek. H Khalid was a fast response to our late Yelp message and provided a affordable estimate and quote that was nearly 5x cheaper than Safelite's quote/estimate. After receiving a quote from H Khalid after 10pm, he had informed me that he would be able to come service a new window replacement at my home the following morning between 9-10am. To H Khalid's word, he arrived at 9:50am to start replacing our broken window with a new one. 10 minutes later the job was finished and he had replaced our broken window with a new one. Skylite's timely response, affordability, and availability has made my experience with their service more than happy. read more

This was an excellent experience. My car had been broken into in the evening, and within an hour, I had an appointment for the following morning to replace my window for half the price that another vendor gave me to come to their shop in Bayview. The service took a little over an hour and it was as smooth as I could've dreamed. I really hope I don't need to get many more windows replaced, but if I do, I'd call these guys first. read more

I contacted Skylite yesterday to replace my windshield, and they got back to me immediately. I liked that Skylite had one of the best quotes for the project, with a warranty, and they came to me. They finished the job within 40 minutes, and the after care instructions were clearly presented to me. This was a 5-star experience. I would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. read more

Hairline crack in my windshield suddenly made it self more known to me. Hopped on Yelp, Skylite had a great rating and mobile install. Price was less than Safelite, and I'm glad to help a local business. They even came out in the rain for me (covered spot or not, it's not fun working on a car in weather). Took about 40 minutes, and I was able to drive off right after. Good, no, great deal. read more

My car window was broken into overnight so I gave Khalid a call in the morning. He was able to open his availability and help me out that afternoon. He drove to me, swapped the glass, and cleaned up all of the shards that were left over. In fact, he vacuumed my entire car which I thought was great customer service. He was also able to provide an invoice for me to request through my insurance. Thank you so much Khalid! It looks like the vandalism didn't even happen. Just a note for other customers: if you pay with cash there's no transaction fee. read more

Khalid was really great so I feel compelled to write him a review both in Google and in Yelp. This is one of those cases where I do feel the reviews live up to the hype. Definitely 5 stars. On a hot summer's day after going on a offsite work meeting, I noticed that my windshield glass was cracked. I had originally planned to just have the dealer handle it during my scheduled maintenance, they quoted me an obscene number. I found Khalid on Yelp, gave him a call a bit after hours and he picked up. He advised me to work with my insurance, manufacturer's versus third party glass and was prompt in providing updates on working with my insurance on whether OEM glass was approved or not. Khalid was knowledgeable about types of glass, whether it's safe to continue to drive or not, and calibration of the cameras. Thank you, Khalid. You really did take the sting out of the have a massive crack on my windshield. read more

Khalid did an awesome job for my windshield glass. My windshield was loose and could fall off anytime due to a bad previous installation, the heavy rain these days also caused water leakage in the car, so it has to be fixed as soon as possible. We've found Skylite, Khalid was very helpful and nice. He was able to come over in the same day and efficiently replaced the window in half an hour! What a relief! He even said he offered lifetime warranty, and I could contact him immediately if anything happened. The price that he charged was very reasonable, I'm grateful that I've found his service, will definitely recommend him for my friends and family. read more

On a holiday (memorial day, also the hottest day in recent memory) our front window was smashed (by me, long story) and we needed to get it replaced. Went straight to help and sent out a request. Khalid was super responsive (maybe 10 mins or so) and asked good questions, provided a reasonable quote and we set up an appointment quickly. He was able to come out the next morning - arrived during the window he set, but also gave me a heads up about when he was on his way and when he would be here. All I had to do was show him the car and give him the key - about 35 mins later he rang my doorbell and it was completed! Not only was the window replaced (and fully functional) but all of the brown glass was cleaned out from every crevice of the car. In addition - he brought everything he needed (didn't even need an outlet) was very nice and personable, and even made me feel better about the broken window. Highly recommend! If I need glass replaced in the future will reach out to him first. Before and after pics included. read more
