HOW COULD YOU GET RID OF PEPSI!!! It's worth the stop from NYC to get my Skyline! A great 5 way and cheese coney Nice service, which is better than some of the Columbus stores

Oh my heavenly chili stars! Opened in 1949, I lived up north but never stopped by. Super friendly staff!! Waffle House vibes :) Gluten free!! Many items are gf!! No fries but look at this Greek salad - side salad as big as a plate Loaded chili with toppings too big to fit in the bowl and my tea was always full. The non gf had a coney dog - looked good Huge portions small prices!! The chili is beyond delicious, a hint of cinnamon and a whole lot of yum. Kelly was beyond amazing. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable about gluten free, made sure the kitchen changed gloves etc. She offered bibs too, uhm yaasssss :) I won't just drive by next time :) really filling and really delicious.

First, my hamburger was hecka raw! The service was hecka rude, and brought it late! Also, they need more music, and less sports!! Overall, this place deserves a two!

Great food, great service. The food was absolutely delicious though if the picture looks like too much food, do not order a large.

I'm totally giving 5 stars for the employees and the food. We were driving through Lima for work and found this location on Yelp. With everything going on through the pandemic it was hard to tell who would be open and who wouldn't. Well, they were open and they were doing a FANTASTIC job about cleaning and serving. I was amazed at how much they were cleaning. I'm talking about door handles, tables, benches, chairs, surfaces... non-stop. This didn't dampen their spirits either. They were glad to do it and glad to have customers. First off, I'm not a chili eater. Just not my thing. I got the veggie black bean burrito. Oh. My. Gosh. So dang good! I'd get that again in a second. Ohhhh, funnel fries. Those were tasty. My wife enjoyed her chili dog, as that was the main goal. She wanted a coney dog. She got two and was happy. That's what it's all about!

Very quick service. Sat at the counter and got to watch the work station which was fun. When asked about sugar in the chili, they gave me a nutrition chart. Very helpful. The loaded bowl of chili, 3 way and 4 way were piled high with cheese and good stuff. The oyster crackers are great with the hot skyline sauce. The bibs were very helpful! We will be back.

My husband is a big fan of Skyline ever since he attend college in Cincinnati. This was my first experience at Skyline. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken. It was loaded with feta and chick peas. I really liked the thin sliced pepperoncinis and Skyline Greek dressing. Next time I'll skip the chicken. It was nothing special. My husband and kids were happy with their cheese coneys and loaded bowls of chili. Our server was very nice, order was ready in a flash, and clean bathrooms.

I've been comin here since college. I love it love it. 5-ways are the best I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness factor in the Lima location. It looked as though there had been a food fight going on before I walked in. Still, the food was good.

Al and his wife are as passionate…read moreabout customer service as they are about serving a great product, and they care so much about their product that they carefully source only the best, Midwestern-produced ingredients. Sure, other hot dogs might be cheaper, but they only serve Koegel Vienna franks, produced in Flint, MI. Likewise, other potato chips might be more profitable to sell, but they only carry Ballreich's chips, made locally in Tiffin, OH. Now Al might not tell you where he gets some of his amazing ingredients, like the neon green relish that makes his Chi Dawg so authentically Chicago, but you can sure taste the quality difference! Our family has been running into the Weenie Dawgs cart for years, especially on weekends at Mary Jane Thurston State Park in Grand Rapids, or on Wednesdays at the Bowling Green farmer's market. As one might expect, we all have different favourites: mine is the Chi Dawg, my son loves the Juan Hot Mama Dawg with the spicy Koegel sausage, my wife prefers the Detroit Dawg, while one daughter goes with the vegetarian dawg and the other the Texas Dawg. So no matter your interest, Weenie Dawgs probably has a dog for you! PROS: very friendly staff, very good food, and reasonable prices CONS: being a food truck, they can be challenging to locate Overall I rate Weenie Dawgs as being Very Good, and look forward to finding them again!

I took a seat at one of the stools at the counter. About those........this place has been around since the early 1900s, and you can tell. The stools were the size to fit people back then. My big ass barely fit on it, and this old timer next to me went to sit down, and missed the stool completely and almost took a tumble (thankfully he did not fall down). I placed my order for 2 hot dogs and a large Dr Pepper. How were they? Delicious! Coney Dogs- These dogs come with a loose meat style coney sauce, mustard and onions all on a soft steamed bun. The most awesome part, they are only $2.00 each! You can't get anything these days for $2.00. The dogs were delicious! I can see how they have been around 100+ years. If I wasn't going to another place to eat afterwards, I could have put down 4-5 dogs, easily. Service was very friendly, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Would definitely stop back in if I'm ever near Fort Wayne again!

Lauri laughs when I say it smells like Ohio when walking in; woody and old and alive in all its dim lighting and kitsch. tables are nice for groups but it's just us so we sit at the bar and we get a Packo's Feast plus an extra cabbage roll - we're here catching up so 'food' was more of a place for meeting than a reason, but get an extra cabbage just the same. hand rolled seasonal beefs and porks and rice wrapped in cabbages and simmered in a thick tomatoey sauce, plated lightly sauced with hot pickles on the side - man these are good. the hot dogs are more like smoke sausage than weiners and split because that's how it's done; plus onions, kraut, and yellow mustard (just like god intended) under a generous slather of dog sauce plus hot pickles on the side. cup of chili comes with an equal amount of baby oyster crackers in second a bowl. now i shall spend the afternoon musing on a simpler place in time. the last law of thermodynamics states that food is cold at the same temperature where beer is warm. but good food will still be good at room temperature or even out of the fridge (a few items test the hypothesis but don't break it) so sit and talk and listen, the food will still be there and still be good...
