Love this venue. Lots of options and the staff is super welcoming. Food and drinks are good too.

This is a pretty neat cinema in a place (Northwest Arkansas) that lacks options when it comes to theaters. It's very clean, modern, full bar and decent food options for the price point. The theater itself does not have reclining chairs which is an industry standard. The sound is decent, but you will hear people in the lobby. This theater could use some help in selecting more distinct movies to show on their screens. There's no reason why they shouldn't try and tap in to movie culture. Transformers (etc.) doesn't have to play in multiple theaters. This theater also could capitalize on screening sporting events. They would make a killing if they did given the food/bar options. Recliners and soundproofing should be priority No. 1 though. read more

Skylight is in a great location- right in downtown Bentonville. Parking is a little tricky if it's a full theater, but nothing to complain about. I decided to go here on a "solo date" as a "take yourself out" mentality. It was opening night for a new movie so it was pretty busy. Went to the bar to grab a glass of wine prior to the movie, and the bar service wasn't very friendly and served multiple groups prior to even acknowledging me although they definitely saw me. Got seated and had no service on my phone, had to ask for the WiFi password as it was nowhere to be found. Once I got that I was able to order directly phone my phone for snacks/drinks which I loved! Very convenient. Comfy seats and good quality of everything. Great food and drinks- just wish the bar service was more friendly as that's what you see when you first walk in. Should be advertised as adult only. Took my kids to Stitch. Such a disappointment - this her day. No popcorn buckets, no backdrop, no slushies, no merch. Stale popcorn & 6 drink flavors. No reclining seats. There weren't even previews. Would never return and so disappointed I'm leaving my first review on Yelp about it. read more

Great place to watch movies if amenities such as reclining chairs, food options, alcohol (including boozy milkshakes) are important to you. The cocktail and pizza we ordered were really good. We ordered at the bar before the movie and had the food delivered at our assigned seat. In the theatre, servers are also taking orders before the movie. Unlike traditional movie venues, there is no descent towards the screen so just be wary that you will be staring up at the screen more so than you would. read more

So nice trendy theater located close to downtown. They only show a handful of movies at a time. Husband and I decided to see Bohemian Rhapsody and knew they served food so thought we would just grab dinner out as well. To our surprise they do not serve the menus pictured except Thur-Sun. They had a 1 page bar menu available that offered chips and queso and Bavarian Pretzels as well as several pizzas. Not really a menu. We decided to skip dinner and ordered popcorn and soda with a classic candy that cost us over $22 would have been helpful when we ordered that the staff share with me they were out of Sprite. Since the soda is self serve they were kind enough to put out of order signs on the dispenser. The seats rock but to not recline and the angle of the screen was awkward. Great local cinema. When give a choice I always go here for movies. Love the food choices as well.

First, the positives. Seats and bathroom were good. Now the negatives....service was horrible as server didn't come back to check on me like he said, waited an hour for food and then they delivered something I didn't order. The newest edition to the local NWA movie scene, skylight is located in downtown Bentonville, within walking distance to the square. The theatre is brand new and includes a ticket counter, full bar, and restaurant. You can reserve your tickets and seats online before heading to the theatre. While at the theatre, enjoy a drink from the bar by ordering there or ordering at your theatre seat. You can also order the regular movie theatre snacks, at the counter and at your seat. For shows after 5pm, you can order from their small dinner menu which features appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Servers will come in and check out you throughout the movie. Just write your order on the card at your seat and place the order on the stand to prompt the server to come by. Ticket prices are affordable and the theatre seats recline and offer a small table for your food. I would recommend the theatre, especially since it's the only one in Bentonville and closest to where I live. Unfortunately, they do not accept MoviePass, so I won't be a frequent flyer here. read more

If I could leave no stars I would, the female Manger is pretty petty. She had a late employee that was having car trouble and gave her someone else closing duties on top of her own as punishment and made her stay past her time she was scheduled. Not a good place to work if that's how they treat people. I honestly won't be back, I don't condone that kind of work ethic. Movie theater otherwise was fine. Just won't support places that do that. First time to be here. watching a sneak preview of The Hate U Give with team from work. Theatre is located aged 4th and A street in Bentonville. Parking is a challenge, having to park a few blocks away. Seating is five rows of roughly 40 fully reclining comfortable leather chairs. Each chair has a swing tray with cup holder. Two huge screens with mIn aisle down the center. A bit different, in that you are looking up instead of at. Tip- Sit at rear of theatre and in center of a screen. I can appreciate the wait staff wanting to get food served quickly before a movie starts, but they sat a tray full of food on top of an open trash can instead of bringing in an extra tray stand. They stationed the loaded tray of food on top of the trash can then proceeded to take plates off the tray down to people in the theater...walking away from the tray of food still sitting on top of the garbage can. How badly trained do you have to be to think that is an acceptable practice? If they are doing that out in the open, what are they doing back in the kitchen? read more

I'm giving it a 3 star with a lot of potential for improvement! It was chaos on the first Friday night of opening, but still cool. You do not need to check in anywhere. You just find your theater and your seats. They didn't have the cafe open for the 9:00 pm show. So, I do not know how that works. The Restaraunt is to the far right - right of the bar. You can order at the bar and bring in to the movie or they have people that you can order from your seat and they will bring it to you. They were out of stock on 6 out of 10 beers last night. All of the local beer ran out. 9 oz pours of wine was nice and the girls enjoyed that. It was interesting and will calm down eventually. It was chaotic with all of the movement and activity during previews. Happy to have this theatre option open in downtown Bentonville! read more

Okay...to start my expectations were not high going into the theater based off of prior reviews on Facebook and here. But all I can say is this was the best theater experience I have had and my kids are still talking about it. Parking is the tricky part, very limited. But one most also consider your in the downtown area and walking may be a requirement but it is not a long walk at all. We entered on the east side which is the bar area, it was not packed when we entered but when the movie let out it was fairly packed, yet still easy to maneuver around. We had no issues finding the right room or seats there are large signs over the doors and seats have the numbers on the trays (tables). We were met promptly by two ladies who took us to our seats and took drink orders. There was atleast four waiters/waitresses during most of the movie and they kept busy. We did not order any dinner items, nor did I see anyone else in the audience most had the traditional popcorn/soda. Pricing compared to other theaters is on par and honestly less expensive than I thought. Dinner foods would set you back $12-17 probably, soda $4-5, beer $6-8. We had a combo which is a large popcorn, two fountain drinks and a candy which was $21 My suggestion is to order outside at the concession stand, you get the paper cup so you can take it with you when you leave, whereas ordering inside they give you the restaurant style plastic cup. I just alway like to get a beverage for the road and more bang for the buck : ) Seats were comfortable, if you have a bad movie they would be great to sleep in ! They are alittle narrow for bigger people such as myself, and had to watch my feet with others when they were walking the isle. Overall all this theater was great! Customer Service was great, movie was good. We are already going to try and plan a trip to see Star Wars there and frequent this theater! I really like the set up. Have option as to seeing the movie sitting in recliner or rocking chair. The selection of food and drinks are more than adequate and the service is impeccable. Only draw back is, the seat is too comfortable that I could easily fall asleep and missed the showing. read more

Decided to try out this new Cinema since it was so close to home. It is considerably smaller than what I am used to from when I lived in Houston. However it is extremely nice and not having to fight large crowds is always a plus. I purchased my ticket online early as there are reserved seats and I wanted to view the movie on the larger screen. When I got to the theater the parking lot was full so I just parked down at the church parking lot and it is a short walk no big deal. Parking in downtown Bentonville only has so many free places. My movie was 11:35 a.m. matinee so the place was pretty calm. Honestly I did not notice a place to purchase tickets at the theater. Reading another post someone mentioned a kiosk near the concessions. No one checked tickets walking into the theater. However like I said it was early in the day and pretty quiet. The big screens are oddly enough just separated by a curtain. However I did not notice any noise coming from the other theater during the movie. The seats are electric and have foot rest and recline back. There is plenty of space between rows for people to get by without having to adjust your seat. It was very enjoyable. The volume was a good level not too loud or too quiet. I will definitely be back to this theater. I really like the location and smaller venue. One odd thing is the bathrooms are way in the back past all the screens and they are not that large. It is almost like it was an afterthought. read more

It's not often our family is able to splurge on a night out and the kids really enjoy the free refills on popcorn!! I give a rating of a 5 solely off of the movie going experience and this is not food related. You can order tickets ahead of time with seat selection - how great is that? You can order drinks at the bar and bring it in Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but you're in downtown, EXPECT that from time to time. Went to a 9:50pm movie last night and the theater was so damn hot I could not enjoy the movie. This place has been good in the past. It was good in all other respects but failed where it counts, in providing a comfortable movie watching environment. Going back to give them one more chance today. We went to Skylight Cinema on Easter Sunday to see a matinee. Their prices for the movies are the same as other movie theatres, but this one is more intimate than those big multiplexes. The chairs are leather and either rock or recline with a table that swings away or in front of you to make eating from their menu easy. My husband and I shared a plate of steak sliders and waffle fries and they were delicious and plenty for the two of us. We really enjoyed the theatre and their service was great. We're looking forward to another movie soon! read more

First time at an early show. If you are coming to a Noon show don't expect ANY food service before noon. So if your movie starts at 12:00 you will just have to get food and snacks after it starts. You would think that a place like this, being owned by the local super family would have its team ready to take your money once you walk in the door. Big let down. Came here to see a movie, sort of last minute, so the seats that were available were the front row. These theaters are very intimate, around 5 rows and 8 chairs in each, and you feel like you are in your friends really nice theater in their house. I like this part of it, but don't sit in the front row. I would honestly recommend the back row since they are small theaters, but with big screens. The seats are "rocker" seats with tables. We ordered some food while we watched the movie too. You write out what you want from the menu and there is a little stand you stick the paper in. The waiter will see this and take it to place your order. I had the pretzel bread sticks with the dipping sauces and a milkshake. Both were good and plenty big to split. I would come again, but I prefer the full recliner seats if I'm going to be paying more for a theater experience. read more

Yesterday I had my first experience at Skylight Cinema. I was absolutely blown away with how comfortable the seats were! We had visited here as an office getaway and I just had to bring my husband back last night! My husband and I enjoyed a drink at the bar (YES they have service at your seat)! They have a pretty good menu, which you can see in photos from my fellow Yelper's. The sound quality, seat spacing and relaxation was just what the night ordered! You have to manually write your order down on paper and give it to the waiter AND if you pay with card they take your card and then continue taking orders from other customers. You would think ordering food would be electronic with how people talk about this place. The seats don't recline but they do rock back and forth. The food is kind of like gas station food to where its cooked by people that don't know how to cook food. I think the only reason people come here is for the beer. This place is overrated and you better off going to one of the bigger chain theaters. read more

Went to see Black Panther on February 18 for the 6:15p showing. Ordered dinner and 15 minutes later, we were told they were out of chicken tenders. We then ordered the fish and chips to which they replied they were out of as well. I gave up and my daughter ordered the quesadilla with fries and a hummus to start since they also ran out of cheese curds. They were out of the prime rib sandwich as well. They brought the fries and hummus 30 minutes before the end of the movie but didn't bring the quesadilla. We told them to cancel the order. A 2h15m movie at dinner time on Sunday and you can't or don't have any food. What a poor excuse for dinner and a movie. We spent $25 on two tickets and $20 on two soft drinks, hummus and some fries. If you advertise that you serve meals, have them in stock. The movie was over around 8:30 and we were famished. Completely unacceptable. Malco from now on. Such a shame since this is a nice theater and close to home. Eat before you go. Don't count on them providing any more than candy and a drink. read more

I was really excited to go to a newer theatre that serves alcohol in the theater and had reclining seats. This is something normal that most cities have. Upon getting there on a Wednesday at 2:30 pm we were told that they don't serve alcohol. Only Thursday through Sunday at 5 pm. Um ok. That's the whole reason we got tickets to this place. Also their website isn't clear on that. Also the theater is small and as such they should have their seats spaced better. The front row is an unwatchable zone. You shouldn't sit there because you literally can't see the screen. We had the second row because that was all that was available. It wasn't any better. Finally their whole system is inefficient and awful. It's slow, they are understaffed and they don't manage the process well. What a terrible experience. read more
