My son and I are definitely movie goers. We enjoy the upgrades to the theater since we moved here, with it's large comfortable cushioning assigned recliner seats. This theater has a full bar and grill. We came here the other day to watch Jurassic World Rebirth. And because of its reward program, we have accumulated so many points that we didn't have to pay for our tickets or our dinner and snacks. The theater is always clean. But the customer service like most businesses today was hit or miss as always. The food here isn't bad at all. We actually enjoy eating dinner here from time-to-time. 4 stars for Customer Service. read more

When I bought the tickets online I had the wrong date and bought the tickets. Turns out, instead of 3 of us for Tuesday. They were mistakenly bought for Sunday. This is a Malco-wide policy but I do not understand why there is a "booking fee" when you buy tickets online. Absolutely ridiculous. They need better customer service! When do they open? It's like a scavenger hunt trying to find it on their website. We failed searching online & calling, since nobody answers and no recorded options with times or movies. It's like a journey back in time before technology and AI. Today it was at 12:30 pm for future reference. Theatre #2 showing Downton Abbey was very warm too like the A/C was broken. We both sweat through the entire movie. The Cinema is a total mess! The seat upholstery is all peeling, it is unkept and totally lacking in care. I think that if there was a better choice to see Movies on the big screen, people would not go to this cinema. When we left last night the garbage areas were overflowing, there was messes all over the carpets and the concession stands were unkept, messy and unappealing. The carpets were dirty! For the money spent for the experience, I would hope there would be some respect for the Consumer's' experience. Dismal upkeep. The only thing positive is that the Movie "Song Sung Blue "was exceptional. If Movie Houses are to remain relevant the minimal responsibility and welcome would be upkeep and maintenance. Shameful! I grew up as a Fan of going to the Movies and many of our Theaters were old and the upkeep and commitment to provide proper attention to the experience wasn't an issue! It is so COLD it's really hard to enjoy the movie. I won't go there anymore unless this changes. We have asked every time to make it warmer and it's always the same. We take a blanket with us but it's just not enough. Management please change this! read more

I don't go to the movies much but I like this cinema. The chairs are all power recliners and it is not -20 in there. The popcorn is always good and the concessions are overpriced as you would expect. The online ticketing works great and they always have small releases that appeal to my wife and I. Some of the seats are showing a little wear and I hope they stay on top of that so it is always clean and comfortable. read more

Lost a lot of respect for this theatre today. As if going to the movies isn't expensive enough (especially when you have kids) they are now charging for water.... not bottled water but the kid size cup of freaking tap water I got 2 of them and they charged me $7... what a joke and a rip off. I enjoy the assigned reclining seats, mostly because I hate having to arrive 45 minutes early to get a good spot. The concession lines usually have a wait, but things move pretty quickly. We normally go to AMC in Fayetteville bc the rewards are better but we were invited to go to a movie at this theatre with friends.. only half of the recliners on our row worked (not ours), no free refills, no access to anything really and the cost was significantly higher for tickets and food. This Malco has always been my favorite local movie theater. I was so happy to see the update and remodel with recliners & the addition of a food menu and booze. I have not tried the menu or the booze, but we have been to the Theatre many times since the remodel. I'm really writing this review for Adam, the manager who helped us this past weekend. We purchased tickets online and confused the dates. We contacted Adam and asked if he could issue new tickets for the correct day and he was so polite and helpful. 02/23/20. 6:30pm. Went to see The Call of the Wild. Not alot of people there, advertised to have Razorback grill, really must be hidden cause we didn't see it. Went to men's room only 2 people in there and trash cans were empty so someone had been there recently, but it was filthy every toilet had pee on seat and floor. Urinals were covered with pee as was the floor. DISGUSTING! Went to our seats 15 minutes till show time Popcorn on seats and sticky floor. My husband and I love coming here. The place is a little dingy but the seats in most of the theaters are the nice recliners. The staff is a little lazy. They like to talk to each other and one time they just took my ticket without looking and then pointed me to the wrong theater. They were showing the same movie in two theaters which were right next to each other, so I accidentally went into the wrong theater. But if the worker had told me its theater 7 instead of 8, I could have saved my self the trouble and another couple's trouble of trying to figure out who was in the wrong. read more

Misserable experience! Brrrtt! Like watching movies there and love the fact I can reserve my seat in advance. Tonight though my wife and I had to endure freezing temps in theater #4. Managment said the AC was on full blast and they couldn't turn it off. Really? You don't know how to adjust the thermostat? 30 outside and around 45 inside. Like a meat locker. Everyone was freezing and bundled up. My popcorn butter turned cold and waxy. $6.50 for a matinee is a bit much, especially for a movie that's been out for a good few weeks now. However, the seating was comfortable with fold up armrest/cup holders and no sticky mess on the floor. Good theatre, great view, good screen quality and the noise was acceptable. It;s been a while since I was here last. The previous visit was for a special screening of a movie before it was widely available by 36 hours. During this visit, we went to see Bohemian Rhapsody, and we tried out the new reclining seating. I can say that the new seating is very comfortable and enhanced the movie watching ten fold, as I was able to find a more comfortable position at which to see the screen. There was also plenty of leg room to stretch out with. I highly recommend giving these a try if you have not already as you will like it quite a bit. As normal, the theatre was clean, and staff friendly. I definitely want to try this again sometime with anther title that I want to see on the big screen. read more

We went to the movies tonight and it was like traveling back in time. It was luxurious! No masks. No social distancing. No seats in between you and the stranger sitting next to you. The place was packed both before and after our movie. The staff was super friendly and on top of everything. The popcorn was fresh and the soda was cold. And the reserved reclining seats make the entire experience so much more enjoyable. It felt like normal small town America again on a Friday summer evening. I visited the old Rogers cinema on Mother's Day. A treat to celebrate my first ever Mother's Day as I am pregnant in my third trimester and have not been to a theater since covid hit. Upon entering, I was questioned where my mask was although the woman who asked was clearly in the middle of a transaction with a mother and her small child, on whom she should have had her main focus seeing that it is her job. I told her I am pregnant and that my doctor has exempted me from wearing a mask in order to receive the necessary amount of oxygen required to create another human life. After allowing the two inline ahead of me to enter (the small child WAS NOT forced to wear a mask), the cashier barely acknowledged me again and called the manager to speak with me. I told this woman the same thing. That I would not wear a mask because not only am I exempt at my doctor's request, but also that the mask mandate was removed by our Governor so they should not be turning this into a big deal. I'm still trying to understand why the little girl in front of me, having been allowed in without a mask, is any different than my situation. I find it disconcerting and sad that they would rather try and FORCE a pregnant mother on Mother's Day to support their meaningless mask mandate rather than accept my support by giving them my money. In the end, I was still refused entry. read more

Bathrooms were NOT well stocked. Women's had no toilet paper in several stalls & 0 paper towels in either dispenser. Even after I brought it to the attention of the snack bar staff, nobody did anything in the 2 hours we were in the movie. Also, we attended the 7:30 showing of The House on 7-4-17. When I went to the snack bar to buy a water, 1 person waited on customers, 1 swept & 2 watched. Came here this past weekend to see "A Man Most Wanted". We came right when the movie was starting and had no problem getting our tickets and in the theatre pretty quickly. It wasn't dead, just not overly crowded, which is nice! Tickets are $10 for adults - which is cheap to me because I moved here from California haha. Theatre is a nice, normal theatre. Seats were comfortable. Theatre/screen were good quality. The area the theatre is in is nice as well. read more

Horrible theater! Tried to go get our seats and was told by gate agent they weren't seating yet and directed to wait. Waited with 3 others. Finally 8 minutes before scheduled start time he said they were seating the theater. Go in behind the other three people. Only a handful of seats left. Those that were, were filled with trash from last showing. Also, every concession worker moves at the pace of molasses on a cold day. And most looked unclean. No frills cinema. Easy parking - a big lot right in front of the entrance. If you just want to buy tickets, you can pull up on the side walk, park your car and get your tickets. Inside is your typical food stand. Hotdogs, popcorn, candies. Popcorn and soda are refillable regardless of the size you get. Ladies room is not new but kept clean. The theater is a bit old but also kept clean. The seats are comfy. The hand rest can be lifted. I prefer coming to this theater than the newer one in Pinnacle Hills because of shorter lines and convinient parking. read more

Went to the movies today and was very excited to hear they have a $5 matinée on Tuesday's! I went with a friend and we were both thoroughly impressed with the new remodel of the seating area! The chairs have a power button that reclines the chair as far as your comfortable, very roomy, and cushy seats! There is a lot more room to walk and there is a black wall that keeps you from seeing the row of people in front of you! It was amazing! And they were very clean, which was nice! I love the new seats and will definitely be back on more tuesdays! read more

Aside from the beautiful new theater seats, this location's manager, Logan, knows how to accommodate a customer who has had trouble getting Movie Pass to work. He didn't lose us forever, but made us welcome, and we purchased a fresh fruit and cheese tray, popcorn and drinks at the concession stand where (face it) their real money is made. This afternoon while getting ready to watch Avengers Endgame our area came under a tornado warning not a watch a warning. The movie stopped and the staff kindly directed us to a place of safety. I was there with my children was very impressed with the way they guided us calmly to a safe place . After the warning had expired we were told we could wait and see the movie. About 15 min later we were told that corporate had decided to cancel our showing. The poor staff had to endure a borage of terrible complaints and bad behavior by adults. I might add that the staff were young adults and teenagers. They took each complaint and responded with an apology. The rush to get refunds or movie passes was a little crazy. The staff kept apologizing to every person. They were truly doing the best they could. Again, I was amazed at how rude people are. I will give them my movie business every chance I get. Each staff member that I saw was working hard to make a difficult situation better. read more
