I'm a total newbie. I was excited with my hand-me-down guitar. It's probably not worth much but it might be fun for to learn on! Seemed in ok shape but it had some dirt and tiny little pebbles(?) IN it - hard to get out with strings on. And I'd been told it had the wrong kind of strings. Sooooo, I took it in to get new strings and of course asked them to clean it out while they had the strings off. Just 2 things to do - restringing and cleaning. Came back to pick it up - still had clunky dirt in it!! How disrespect to the instrument!! How could one miss that? You can't shift it without hearing chunks fall! Like those rain sticks!! Asked to have it cleaned out. I'm thinking easy peasy for them! Nope! Wouldn't do it. And no apology, for not doing it to begin with! Nope, I was informed it wasn't their problem. Just pay! I got the distinct feeling I was beneath them and not at their level. Which has always seemed odd to me - right, I'm new... so why be rude? I might buy a better instrument. But,'@, they certainly don't have to worry about me doing that!! Maybe I will buy a new one someday - but not HERE!! Nope! So sad! I HaD been thinking they might be a good resource. But if they have zero respect for the instruments that come in - even the lowly beginner guitars, or for their customer, I can't support them! Now how the heck am I going to get all these little pieces of dirt out of my guitar?!?! It's like those little mariachi balls!! I shake it but getting then into the center is not easy!! Wait!! That's it! Maybe it's a perk - I can use it instead of a shaker ball as I play! LOL!! read more

Great place to hear live music!! Big stage with lots of tables or you can stand in the back. There's also a row of chairs & a balcony that reminds you this building was a movie theater. Bartenders were friendly. Great assortment of beers (I don't drink a lot of beer) but they had several local beers on tap & alcohol. I was very impressed with the size of the stage, back screen & the overall sound! Great place!! read more

This place is a scam. We purchased tickets to attend a New Years Eve event. The event specified live music and entertainment and unforgetable moments. This certainly was an unforgettable moment, and a horrible one at that. The event consisted of bad service, classical music, and boring entertainment. This establishent needs to provide more details in their events and not scam people $15 per person for classical music on New Years Eve. read more

Went in for the Kiss-A-Pig 2019 preview party that was being held here and I must say that I really enjoyed the atmosphere that Meteor has. The guitars are simply beautiful, while the stage isn't too high from the floor, but also not too low. The acoustics aren't bad either for the bands that play here, as Snapback was the entertainment for the evening, the audio didn't bounce off the walls as much as I thought it would due to the size of the room. Definitely a cool place to check out when in Bentonville! read more

Went to watch a local Fayetteville band last night. What a great venue! In the old theater in downtown Bentonville, while remodeled, still has the old theater feel, including functional balcony. Finally, this is a music venue that happens to serve alcohol versus a bar that books live music. The stage is large with great lighting and the backdrop in a large ceiling to floor screen for graphics, photos, videos. This particular performance required a ticket (purchased on Stubs.net) and VIP secured you a table while others were standing room or balcony. Long plastic tables and chairs. Chairs weren't uncomfortable. Plenty of room for a dance floor. Suggest a follow on FB to see upcoming events. Restrooms were nice and clean. The front lobby has a side store that is basically a guitar shop. Granted the band didn't start till 9 (ha, remember when nothing was open in Bentonville past 9?) we pushed through the initial desire to get ready for bed and got ourselves out to listen to some music. Great venue to watch musical performances. We go there when School of Rock does performances. Recently remodeled they have added a bar and the place looks great inside. read more

I really enjoyed the concert here, which was Randall Shreve and the Devilles. It was an interesting mix of crowd. The staff members were nice. There were times when it was a bit difficult to make out what the band was saying, when sitting upstairs. Overall, good times! read more

This facility has recently been renovated. The front is a guitar store, selling some nice looking instruments as well as accessories. The store itself is kind of a museum of rock 'n' roll paraphernalia. It's just fun to go and browse! In the back there is a 300 capacity venue with a balcony. The sound system is good in the acoustics are great. This was used by the Bentonville film festival for events every night! read more

Bought VIP tickets for Oreo blues event ,don't know what the difference in VIP tickets represented for the price difference, the guy I spoke with twice told me it would include choice in seating, some drinks in munchies, a full bar, but hers what we got,,a bar with no choices in liquor at all, the drinks were served in a 4 oz plastic cup for 7 dollar l ars each,the seating choices were plastic lawn chairs pushed together in front of stage, or folding banquet tables,and the same in the balcony area,we felt like we were at a church ice cream social,for us the entire encounter to see one of our favorite local groups was diminished , Oreo always has a crowd when they play,, I don't know if there were even 30 people there,,won't be back no matter who's playing, was excited beforehand, know we know better,, good luck with your venture there folks, to us your way off on it being a big hit read more

This is a unique venue for Bentonville. It used to be a movie theater at some point and now they've changed it to an event and music venue with a guitar shop. What I like about it is that it is still quirky and a bit unpolished. They've left the original theater sound insulating/ accoustic squares from decades ago on the walls, the old balcony and have made the bottom half a big open wood floor with a stage in the front. We've been here 3 times to see music, all free. I believe they also rent the space out for events. They have a FB site with a public events calendar (i.e. comedy shows, music, etc.). The concerts were BYOB, I'd never seen that before at a music venue...but made it fun. read more
