My aunt and I went skydiving here and it was FANTASTIC! The owner was so nice and accommodating and our instructors were amazing! We jumped with Luis and Jones and we both LOVED them! Our jump was amazing and such a fun experience! The plane is teeny but we loved having a cozy, personal experience. Highly recommend this place!

Went for my second jump here. Great guys! Small place, only 2 people per jump. So sick being in that small plane. Have a decommissioned plane to demo with, get a feel for it. Definitely recommend!

What can I say? I safely reached the bottom. The staff was wonderful. Waited a very long time after my appointment time. Had to wait for the dark clouds to go away. However, when it comes to jumping out of a plane, take your time and make sure everything is right. Had I been rushed, I would've definitely been even more nervous. Also, they ordered pizza for us while we wait and told us to share with our spectators (4 teenage girls). I won't lie, I was terrified before I jumped. But after the being reassured by the knowledgable staff that I was fine and I would love it, they put those words into action. One of the best experiences of my life. I can't wait to go again.

The owner even went so far as to lend me his shoes because I was wearing boots that might've interfered with the jump.

This skydiving experience was organized by my husband as a birthday activity for my 47th. I had the…read moreutter privilege of jumping with none other than the legendary "Pancake", who very nonchalantly told me that he has made more than 20,000 such iconic falls! This was my first attempt and I think it was good for a height-phobic person like me to not have the option of standing on a separate ledge and deliberately jump. In the plane here, you kind of just tip over the edge, and that has to be initiated (thankfully) by your tandem instructor. Those 60 seconds of free falling were the longest of my life, I couldn't wait for the parachute to open. My heart was in my throat, I was wriggling like a cockroach, and I couldn't breathe because of the air pressure assaulting my face. CAUTION TO THOSE WITH PELVIC PAIN: as soon as the parachute opens, the pelvic harness tightens up considerably as you're basically vertical, being completely supported by the harness. You're "hanging by a thread (aka harness)". Think about how that would affect you during and after the activity, since I was in pain hanging vertically in the air. It made it tough to enjoy the slow gliding in such a beautiful weather. Pancake advised that I try and reposition myself so as to almost sit within the harness but I couldn't manage that. The staff is nothing but incredible, they ensure as much safety as possible, and the environment is so Hollywood-y with these sporty gals and guys preparing to jump one after the other from the plane. You can't help but feel the thrill of being surrounded by adventurers. I would like the option of a face shield and/or helmet for tandem jumpers like us so we can enjoy that free fall sensation without struggling to breathe. Also the videography package is worth it!

It breaks my heart seeing some of these unhappy reviews. I can't speak on their experiences but I…read morecan certainly speak on mine. Years ago, I came to this drop zone because not only was it closer than the other one I went to, but it was also a lot more professional and focused on the sport rather than the frat house culture you can find at other DZs. The folks at skydive Philly helped me learn a lot and aided in me getting my A license. I ended up having a baby and could no longer afford to jump and was also having personal issues that were hindering me from pursuing my passions (not because of my child ;) he's a blessing). I just came back to this DZ to show my son the planes and show him where I used to go for fun. Aaron (the guy who runs the business) was there and he remembered me after 6 years!! He was SO sweet to my son and me and it meant the world. He welcomed me back and gave me all the information and support I needed to get back into the sport if I desired. He was so encouraging and understanding. The staff here, even after all this time, remember their students and care for them. It made my day and I'm so sorry for anyone that can't see how great these people are. Please understand skydiving can be SUPER frustrating because it's all dependent on the weather and sometimes plans have to get canceled time and time again. Try not to get mad at the staff for having to cancel a jump.

They accuse one person in our group of smelling like marijuana! (NOT TRUE) We literally showed up with our three small children and our elderly sick parent to do our bucket list! This place was very rude and inconsiderate, accused us of being on drugs! There Other employees said we look totally fine and smelled fine. They didn't understand where he was coming from. Dude literally kicked us out and said get out of here. Have a good day. So we decided to go to Garden State Sky Diving, right after! They opened us with hugs, drinks and positive vibes! It was way cheaper! They took you higher & let you jump farther and didn't charge you an extra like the Philadelphia skydiving place! Garden Sky made you feel like family and welcomed us with . We will be going back there weekly. Everybody run away from Philadelphia skydiving unless you like getting treated like a POS! Garden Sky went above for our elderly parents and for my 40th birthday party! Also, they were glad to entertain our children, and they also were dog friendly with their own dogs to greet you with love & joy! Totally different atmosphere night and day! We are actually debating whether to put a lawsuit on the Philly people for discrimination! The 1 person they accuse is the one person that didn't sign their $50,000 agreement if you sue them you will owe them $50,000 regardless I politely asked the Rude guy at the Philadelphia skydiving who he thought was under the influence or looked under the influence? Then he literally told me. I AM NOT A doctor. I can't tell you that! But I can tell you, I do smell marijuana even though there's 100 people sitting in the same room as us SMH! We knew exactly when we pulled into that place. The vibe wasn't right. You can tell with the reviews as well, all the other place are 5 not 4! This place had to pay for the 4 because it should be a 1

My friends purchased a group package online! It included 2 flys each and photos & videos. A couple of us added on the high fly! Totally worth it! These packages offer more for your money at a lower price point plus you get a front row seat to watching each person enjoy the experience! Once you are signed up everyone will fill out online forms and waivers prior to arrival! Each person is also sent a preflight video to watch to learn hand signals. This information is reviewed several times once onsite as well! There are a lot of health restriction's. A big one to note is that if you've ever dislocated your shoulder this is not for you! The first two times I fly my shoulder was fine but after the third time I could really feel the pressure! What to expect: Upon arrival we checked everything out! So many fun photo opportunities including angel wings and a step & repeat! We loved to taking photos there and the staff was so accommodating about leaving time before and after for photos! Everyone will need to get weighed in so be honest on your waiver! You are weighed individually but the weight is concealed for privacy! There are set weight limits so check to see if you are within the range. There are no exceptions! Once you get your wrist band you move on to get your fly suit and helmet. I used the helmet with the face covering and I highly recommend this option! This avoided the wind hitting me directly in the face and allowed me to focus on the experience mates of just the wind! There were about 10 of us in our class. Each person got to fly twice! We rooted and cheered for everyone as they went up and out of the tube! Watching people you care about experience this up close was really such a fun experience! Being together doing this crazy thing was so fun! Our instructor Sam was amazing! Honestly all of the employees were so kind and willing to do whatever they could to make this a memorable experience including flashing me a happy birthday message while I was in the tunnel flying! Sam made us all feel comfortable and she was so good at what she does! At the end of everyone's flights she did an amazing show of her skills in the tunnel! She's got some serious talent and she and the rest of the crew really love what they do! Their enthusiasm is contagious and really added so much value to the experience! My only constructive feedback is that it would have been cool to have a camera in the tunnel to capture the high fly. You really go off screen alone you start getting higher. It also would have been cool to have someone video from outside of the tunnel so bring friends to watch and record! One last suggestion...bring cash to tip your instructor! I was glad I had cash on me! You can not add this to your credit card payment and they do not have cash to break bills. I can not recommend this experience enough! This was something that all of us will remember for a very long time! Thank you iFly for making this birthday experience something so very unique and special!

This is a try it once and never again type place…read more The flight time is literally just 1 minute. They also charge you an additional $20 to go a bit higher in the wind tunnel. Which seems like that should be included in the $99 charge. Want pictures? That will be another $4 for each. The place is also stating to look rundown - they don't seem to invest in maintenance or upkeep. Glad we went to try it, but won't go back.

We each got two flights with an instructor, one flight lasting about 60 or 90 seconds. We opted to add the "high flight" for $20 more- that's when the instructor takes you to the top of the tube, very, very high up. We enjoyed every moment, from being suited up, to learning about proper positions, to balancing in the air, to the HIGHHH flight. Our instructor was so friendly and engaging and made this the best experience for my husband's special day. This is a little bit of a pricy experience, but not too outrageous to try once in a lifetime! Also, check online for deals and discounts. They're always posting some discounts for various holidays.

Be mindful there is a weight limit for the experience ( 260lb +) so check before booking. They make you weight in before giving you a wristband to proceed upstairs. There's a small section upstairs to host private parties , picture backdrop , and lockers to put you personal items ( they aren't too big so don't bring anything oversized ) they do ask that you lock up your phones before entering the chamber to fly. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY! They booked my jump and charged my credit card. They were…read moreable to do that. They told me I would get an email explaining what I need to bring and wear "in a couple of days". Five days later, the day before my jump, I hadn't gotten the email. I called and the girl told me they sent the email. I told her I didn't get it. She said she'd send it right away. 2 hours later I hadn't gotten it. I called again...3 times. No answer. I called a few more times and got another girl at 2 pm. She said they send their emails at 2:30 the day before the jump (that's not what the other girl said). I waited until 3. No email. I called again. This time the girl said their internet was down and they'd email me as soon as it was working again. I very sternly told her to give me the info over the phone because I have no faith that they will send it. This company is so unprofessional and disorganized. I haven't jumped yet. I really truly hope the people flying the plane and jumping out with first timers do their job better than the people in the office. By the way, their website does not tell you what you need to bring. Maybe they should just put that info on their website so they don't have to go through "all the trouble" of sending emails. Clearly sending emails is too complicated for them. Do yourself a huge favor. Book your jump with some other company. These clowns don't deserve your business. I wish I could get my money back. Guess what? They don't give refunds! Run run run to some other skydiving company who will actually take the time to explain what you need to know so you can enjoy your jump AND have what you need so you can actually go through with the jump.
