Welcome to mini-golf course #27!…read more North Beach was a bit different from most courses we've played. This was a sunny day in early September, with calm music and ocean sounds. It was almost like an AMSR experience. Plus, they decorated for Halloween! This is a 2-story course with some seriously fun holes. Perfect for kids and grandparents, but keep in mind the stairs. The course was clean and well-maintained, and there's plenty of shade and spot to sit. But the coolest thing we read was if you rent the apartment on the second floor, you get to play golf for free. I'm thinking next birthday weekend.

Welcome to mini-golf course #29…read more This is a good course for a few great reasons. It's inside, so AC, no rain, no stairs, and fun holes. The place is haunted, so there will be ghosts, but don't worry, it's not that scary. The one hole has the back of a rhino along with rhino poop. This is one of the top two or three funnest courses we played. Most holes have black lights and can get a bit dark at times. Great for kids, but maybe not as good for really young ones.

Apparently it's been $5 for the longest time - great to see these spots still thrive!! Let's keep it alive!

Came here to take the youngsters while on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Lucky Snake Arcade is…read morelocated where the former Showboat Hotel and Casino once stood. The space that was the casino has been transformed into an arcade/games/ attraction oasis. We made our way to a kiosk to purchase a reusable/reloadable game card so the kids could enjoy a variety of attractions and then we were off! Lucky Snake has an impressive variety of games and attractions suitable for toddlers (though limited for them) up to full grown adults. They also have a roller rink with skate rentals for an additional fee, and a massive water park (it was closed during our late night visit). There was a racing track, mini golf, billiards area, and a massive amount of traditional arcade games, too numerous to name, but I saw skeet ball, traditional pinball machines, basketball/football games, claw machines, and two-person challenge games to name a few. The game card I purchased was for $50 and more than covered their time here. Lucky Snack still has the hotel with folks lined up to check in/out. There wee also places to eat along with rows of snack vending machines, and the bar, still standing from the Showboat days, eagerly awaiting the adult that needed a break from the overstimulation of hundreds of arcade machines and kids in the background ‍. All in all, a great place for families to take their kids, especially on a hot, sunny day to duck the heat and humidity (especially the water park option) and for a wonderful change of pace from the usual boardwalk activities.

The only downside was that some of the arcade machines like the basketball games and a bunch of others weren't working properly & ended up taking my money. That was def frustrating.
