Phila and wish everyplace else you went to had the same), I will get a few comments in on the course. -Yes, there is crab grass. -Mixed types of grass in the rough and green surrounds, you have different -looks and feel on different holes playing from the rough. Needs more consistency. -It seems a couple of the holes they redesigned, moved and/or reconstructed, make little sense. -Some greens are postage stamp size. For a lot of play, wear and tear would be better on larger sized greens -Pace of play wasn't bad at all, 4hrs 5 minutes in the height of the summer. Overall, it's in better than average to good shape, just a couple of those things that bothered me. I'm not a fan of the NJ shore, however I would make the trek to Greate Bay again when invited.

Great in summer when it's 110 in the shade, raining cats and dogs or the boardwalk could have a February glaze of snow on it and...they're still open. The one pseudo-negative is like many others have mentioned, if you go in season when there are a lot of people playing, the holes in the black light room are stacked on top of each other and it always feels like you're in somebodies way or someone is in your way. There are many places you could get your putt-putt on in OCNJ and to me Haunted is somewhere in the upper-middle of the pack. It's nowhere near the worst (Goofy Golf) but also nowhere near the best (Tee-Time). Is it different? Of course, indoor with black lights always will be. Is the course "scary"? No. Is the course hard? No. Is it what you would expect from an OCNJ cheesy putt-putt course? You bet.

This was a really nice experience, and a great course…read more First of all, this is a high handicappers dream. This course is WIDE. OPEN. Almost every hole has enormous fairways. If you're halfway decent, you should find it not too hard to keep it on the short stuff. That's not to say the course is easy. There are plenty of hazards and challenges, strategically placed to challenge you, not frustrate the ever loving shit out of you. There are cart girls and a hotdog hut at the turn. What more can you ask for?! The greens were nicely manicured, but they were extremely firm when we were there (Early June.) Course is long too, so expect your round to take a while if you don't have Bryson Dechambeau swing speeds. The locker room was impressive, and there's a full bar with friendly staff. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the same thing; the price. WE played on a guest pass, but I hear that a regular tee time is 3 figures. It's a bit far from me, AND out of my regular day to day price range, but I'd love to play it again some day.
