It's a great spot for the little ones and the grandparents to hang out--not much walking , and the kids won't be able to wander off easily. Came here with my boys for a night of mini golf fun! The course is really run down, statues, signs floor's are all dilapidated. The floors around the holes aren't flat anymore so it's hard to get the ball in the cup because the flooring around the hole is raised. The visual items are all faded, warped , losing paint and for some kids I would even say scary looking. At the end of the day we all had fun and maybe it added a bit of a fun house feel to it so I don't feel like I wasted my money however, this wouldn't be my first pick for mini golf. read more

Our family loves this place. It is just goofy, random. Each hole is unique, and very few holes are designed where every ball ends up within 2 feet of each other if you don't get a hole in 1. Hole design is random, with Minions, Flyers/Rangers plinko, and some LSD- inspired, "what other odd things do we have laying around...aah, pool noodles" hole that defies explanation- see photo. It's cheap, and it's random. And, skill us rewarded. Put that ball where it needs to be, and you might get a hole in one if the ball feed is true. Or not, and, well, that's just Goofy Golf. But there is skill involved, with both accuracy and weight on the ball. And, compared to Adventure Golf- which we played last night, for $9 per person, this is easily the better deal for the samolians. Adventure Golf is the typical caves and water motif...and greens "collect" all balls that aren't holes in one. I can get two rounds of Goofy Golf or Tee Time for one round of Adventure. For the smiles per hour, it's a no Brainerd. Kudos, Goofy. Keep it light and entertaining- and cheap- and we'll be back. read more

Hrmmm I really don't understand all the haters for this place. It's fab. First off, it's a mini golf course in Ocean City NJ. I'm not expecting perfection. I think it has a great and attractive cartoons (I love the Raphael teenage mutant ninja turtle statue) and creative holes. I love the ones where you can aim for one of three holes which then propel the ball out of one of three areas towards (or away from) the main hole. Some of the greens are run down, but I feel like that contributes to what we call "the elements" that you have to account for while golfing. Unexpected turns, etc. It's a skill people, a skill. This course is typically not crowded and $5 before noon, ranging up to $6.50 after 6PM which I did not think was too steep. read more

Clearly the owner of Goofy Golf is coasting by simply based on their location because they sure as hell are NOT putting any money into this place which maybe explains why it looks the way it does and why it was mostly deserted during the week we recently spent in OC. They offer a "Bikers Special" before Noon of $5 per person and that is the only time seriously worth going because after that the price goes up and the crazy factor of playing there also goes up. Some holes looked like they had new carpets on them but the actual obstacles themselves are in various states of repair from new-ish looking to quasi-dilapidated with the entire place badly needing some paint just for starters. And as another reviewer already pointed out the music playing is simply embarrassing. A course like Tee Time has been around a while without a lot of frills but at least you can see the upkeep and maintenance that goes into the place. All you see here is an owner strip mining things for their own profit without a lot of concern for putting on a quality product. read more

This is very high budget mini golf because they spent so much money on licenses for all these Disney characters

The shame here is they had lots of interesting and fun holes. There were no clubs after we paid. The less than helpful attendant eventually rounded some up. The course is not well maintained. To much wear and tear. Things were in poor condition. Boards not painted, various holes not smooth, etc. You would but a ball and it would just mysteriously pop up. There were spots where you could see the underlying structure was warped and the ball would just veer off. There were holes where it was a struggle just to put the ball down at the "tee" to start, only because of the slope, the ball kept rolling off. If they just cleaned it up and put a little money into fixing the disrepair, then it would be 5 stars! read more

This is the saddest, smelliest, most broken down mini golf course in America. Every single hole has something broken, peeling up turf, splinters, and idiotic layouts. The entire course is strewn with years-old garbage. Cartoon sculptures are crumbling and decayed. It's only $5, and it's a ripoff at that amount. An absolute garbage dump in the middle of otherwise lovely Ocean City. The town should bulldoze this place. read more

Still the best and most iconic mini golf on the boardwalk. $5 all day, everyday. A fantastic course and super nostalgic.

Agree with Mark E. above. Holes look fun, but this course is very poorly maintained. Chutes do not line up with course so balls got stuck. None, not one, of electric features (windmills, ferris wheel, etc..) worked. Parts of the course that were supposed to be flat (like the tee) were not. Structures are cute but drab - need a major paint job. Attendant gruff. Was only $5 but not worth it. There are better courses out there! read more

We were greeted by a woman who clearly did not want us there, or maybe she just didn't want herself there. Her sour greeting should have sent us packing, since there is no shortage of choices for mini-golf on the boardwalk. We stayed because it looked so empty. Plus, the kids were drawn to the crazy assortment of characters. As we approached the third, fourth, fifth and sixth holes, the smell of rotting trash was unavoidable. This was an especially nice feature when we had to spend additional time reaching into one of the trash-filled characters because our balls were stuck. Let's just say they are offering the minimum in miniature golf. read more

It isn't a vacation if we don't go to Goofy Golf before heading home. Despite the uneven greens and faded animals, Goofy Golf is a great tradition for families trying to out-mini golf each other. The hippo eating a hoagie is my personal favorite. My only criticism is that the owner might want to consider changing up the song that plays on a loop at the entrance. It's been years of "Who let the dogs out?" and we are craving some new tunes. read more

We went here this summer, and they've obviously been working to upgrade-- we loved it. I'm a sucker for trick shots/ creative hole design for mini-golf, and there's a lot on this course that I've never seen anywhere else. Much was either newly paints or relatively new greens installed. Warning, this is a small course in terms of space (still 18 holes), so if people aren't behaving well around you, that can get annoying fast. However, still far more interesting and fun to be than putting next to waterfalls or bare greens. read more
