Do you like chaos? Kids pushing through you? Sticky things everywhere? Then come on down to Sky Zone in Shawnee! This place is, expectedly, chaotic. This is probably the origin of the phrase, 'the kids are bouncing off the walls.' Found ourselves here for a birthday party on a particularly busy winter Sunday afternoon. We've been to other trampoline parks, but again, this one has that sort of extra unhinged energy. It's not quite as expansive as some. It's almost like a dog park for kids. You let them out to run wild for a bit, and hope they tire themselves out enough not to bug you at 8:30 that night. For some kids it's great. Mine like it well enough, but they'll never beg to come here. They like things a little more quiet and zen (they are my kids after all). But I see how it can be fun every so often. Definitely a place parents in the area will find via birthday party or winter boredom at some point. read more

I've taken my kids (5 to 10 yo) there for a couple of birthday parties. The kids had a great time. They especially loved the diving board into the foam pit. Maybe 10 or so different activities to do. The primary downside is that it didn't strike me as the cleanest place. However, I'm not sure how you keep a place like that clean with a bunch of sweaty kids running around. read more

I brought my three granddaughters, 6-12 age range, to this play place. We got there right after it opened on Martin Luther King Day. It wasn't that busy at that time. The teen who checked us in was nice and explanatory. I found a place to sit and watch our belongings while the kids played. They had a good time playing, but the six-year-old did twist her ankle a bit. I purchased the 90 minute play pass and three pairs of socks and it came to $84. I kept looking for people who worked there and I only saw one other male teen walking around briefly and then start working behind the snack counter. My oldest granddaughter said there was one person watching the dodgeball area, but that was it. I think they do need more people that watch for infractions of the rules because those infractions tend to get other kids hurt. Also, some kids took over play areas and were on specific cloth swings for a whole hour when their rules when you sign in specifically say not to do that. I would say that the place is more suited for ages 10 and up because there were even quite a few teens there. Also, no one is really rotating the people out for the shorter play passes so the amount of kids just keeps getting larger. read more

Took my kids there for my daughters birthday and with a couple of her friends and we paid for 90 minutes of play time and after under 40 minutes the employees told the kids they're time was up and had to leave in a VERY RUDE MANER !! It was just 3 more families included mine at the time so I will never be back and won't recommend it to anyone!! I don't care about the money spent but the fact was my little girls birthday makes me Angry and definitely Corporate should keep this type of issues in a loop!! read more

Oh my gosh what a fun place to kill an hour! I was pooped (and very sweaty) after just 15 minutes of bouncing around, but the kids running around make you want to jump back into action quickly. It was total chaos and super busy on a Saturday afternoon, but I enjoyed the high energy, fun environment. This location has a really fun (and challenging) ninja course, a wipeout zone, a rock wall over a foam pit (personal fave), and a "high dive" into a foam pit, where I learned to do my first gainer! You can book your time in hour and two hour blocks. 60 minutes is $20, and if you don't have socks with the sticky stuff on the bottom, you'll need to buy a pair for $5. They have plenty of options! Food is available for purchase at the fuel zone. Highly recommend coming here! read more

This place is a ton of fun... however... The lack of staff and the complete indifference they displayed to problems is frustrating. Older kids tend to dominate the place, thereby making littler kids feel unsafe and get pushed around. Of course, no staff interference on these. There is also no control over how many people are in the building. They tell people with certain colorded wristbands to leave, but zero enforcement, which means that many stay beyond their allotted time and make it way overcrowded, and thus, more unsafe. All in all, this place has serious safety concerns. Not with equipment, but with a staff that, frankly, has no interest in controlling their park. read more

This place is chaos. My friends and I bought Little Leapers tickets for our three toddlers to visit last Sunday, 3/21. We bought 9-11AM tickets so we all arrived ready to go right before they opened. Once we got out of our cars, one of the employees flagged us down in the parking lot and told us they couldn't open the doors because the manager with the keys hadn't arrived yet. Great start! Also I must add that there was a birthday party group there waiting too, which I felt horribly for! It was windy and chilly, and we were all standing by the front door and there was trash everywhere - the can next to the front door was overflowing with garbage and cigarette butts. Once someone finally showed up to unlock the doors about 30 minutes later, the employees announced that everyone would jump for free - which would have been great, had we not already purchased our tickets online. We asked about them and the employee told us to just save them for another day (that's assuming we will come back again). The trampolines were packed, too. They only had the foam pit and trampolines in the front open, so there were kids and parents everywhere. We asked if they could open another section and they said they didn't have enough employees. This is a fun place for kids but also slightly unsafe and a nightmare for parents. 1) the doors to the front are in close proximity to where the kids play with nothing to stop kids from wandering out or a predator from coming in. 2) there is a serious lack of seating for parents, the seating that does exist doesn't allow good visibility to play areas and does not offer electric outlet access. 3) the staff doesn't know the Wi-Fi password. In general, the play areas are fun, but part of the reason I bring my kids to indoor play is so that I can relax catch up on work. If Skyzone would think a little more about children's safety and the parents who are paying, it has the potential to be good read more

Sky Zone is a unique experience but when you arrive for you jump time and there's trash all over the floors and no tables have been wiped down I was very concerned of the cleanliness of this establishment since we are still in a pandemic. Inside was hotter than outside. You just Stand there and feel heat overtake you. Not sure if the AC was down but wow! Also only noticed about 3 employees for the entire building. PARENTS BEWARE! Please do not bring your children here! Sky Zone Kansas City left my son alone and unattended for 4 hours during Parents Night Out. On Saturday, January 2, 2021, I took my 8 year old son, to Parents Night Out at Sky Zone Kansas City. This is a 4-hour program where parents drop their children off at SkyZone to play and eat. The program is supposed to come with 4 hours of supervised play, 2 slices of pizza, a fountain drink and a T-shirt. I checked my son in at 6:00 pm with a team member who advised that my son would have 1 hour of free play before a team member would escort him to dinner. I asked if I needed to bring my son to another check-in point and the team member assured me that my son would be taken care of by their team. When I returned at 10:00 pm to pick up my son, I immediately noticed that there were no team members at the customer service desk. I had to walk around the play area until I found two team members. I advised both team members that I was there to pick up my son from the Parents Night Out program and I provided my son's name. They both looked at me confused and asked my son's name again. After I told them, they still looked confused and they asked for a physical description of my son. At this point, I was frantic because I was concerned my son was lost or possibly kidnapped. So I physically searched for my son on my own and I found him alone on one of the trampolines. I asked my son if he had a good time and he said he had a horrible time. My son informed me that no team members ever checked on him or watched him. He also said no team members gave him any food or beverages. My son told me that he found some water and that he was starving. I was livid! My son was left alone and unattended for 4 hours! At this point, I asked for a supervisor and I was directed to the on-site team leader. I explained what happened to the team leader. The team leader apologized and advised that my son should have been checked in with a member of management when he arrived. The team leader advised that he had no idea my son was there for the Parents Night Out program and he apologized. The team leader offered my son a Gatorade and a bag of Cheetos since he was starving. The team leader didn't offer to escalate the issue to his superiors nor did he offer a refund. Update: Today (1/3/21) I spoke to regional manager, Chandler. Chandler advised that he spoke to his team about the incident and his team members alleged that they watched my son from a distance and they told my son to let them know if he was hungry. That is a blatant lie! My son was never checked on or offered any food for 4 hours. My son told me that no one spoke to him the entire time he was there and he played by himself. Even if their allegation was true, why would they rely on an 8 year old to tell them how to do their job?! Who are the adults here? In any event, Chandler advised that I will receive a full refund. I will update this review if I ever receive the refund. I think the whole staff should be fired and replaced with more competent people. My son could have been abducted and no one would have had any idea who took him. read more

Stefani contacted​ me over Yelp about my experience​ and was very kind when addressing my concerns. She invited​ my boyfriend and I to come back to the park to have a better experience​​ and let me tell you. This place has done a complete 360. When we went with our friends for a date night we ended up having a great time. Glow night passes now include​ a shirt (which who doesn't love a good t-shirt). When you go to sky zone you don't say to yourself "I can't wait to get some food from there". However, they advertise that they serve food. What I can say is. Don't order the food unless you create an expectation to the staff about how you want your food to turn out. I ordered some of the bone in wings and some pretzel bites. I would have taken pictures of the wings but I threw them out before I realized I was going to yelp. The wings came out first and we're cold on the inside. I was very hungry so I sent them back to be cooked longer. Even when they were done they were not very good. The pretzel bites I got were not put in the order so came out very late. When they did come out they were over cooked. Tasted burned and hard. My friend also tried to order wings and asked for his money back. The bounce park is fun. Stick with it. My wife and I brought our 1 year old there for the little jumpers neon jump and on their website said it was only $12.99 for kids to jump and free for 1 adult plus $5 more for the second parent to jump. We get in there and then we are told we need shirts which were another $20. We had socks on but they weren't skyzone issued socks so not even 5 mins in the jumping we were told we needed socks. We looked at the guy confused because the girl at the desk asked if we had socks and we did referring to the ones on our feet. After that we just left we weren't about to pay $12 more for socks. So after all that 50 bucks for 5-10 mins of jump time max because of all that chaos!!! What a way to false advertise!! We won't be coming back!!! read more

It's a large commercial strip mall with a bunch of trampolines pushed together. I don't see why people are surprised at what they find here. The staff looked very young but were sufficient. The place was large, clean, and safe. The only thing Sky Zone needs is a supervised barrier to prevent adults from wandering in and kidnapping the children. There was no clear boundary between people coming in off the street and Sky Zone customers. Check In was easy enough after you sign your risks away. You are required to buy $1 orange grip socks that you can use again. Makes sense, I don't want to touch where your bare feet have been. Cheap. An hour is more than enough. Unless you are an experienced gymnast, you'll be exhausted after a half hour. They have a huge free jumping area. Two Dodge ball courts that they separate by age depending on the clientele at the time. If it's largely children both courts will be 12 and under, and the same if there are more adults. They have the foam cube pool, which is largely pointless. Only three people can jump in at a time and it takes forever to get back out. They have three basketball hoops in one area. It only makes sense that they're aren't going to let full sized adults bounced with tiny children. It's dangerous. I agree with that. If you take little toddlers here, well that's just silly -don't. If you take little children here they need to know they can't jump with their older siblings and parents. If they whine and beg tell them to stop or we're leaving. It's pretty simple really. I don't want 180lbs+ adult falling on my seven year old, even if it is a dad or mom who just wants to be with their child. Organized birthday parties at the facility are over priced. We went for a birthday party and just enjoyed the hour fee then ate elsewhere. All and all, it was fun and exactly what I expected. It's a big bouncy house. read more

We purchased a party for this location after an entire month of attempting to contact through calls, emails, contact forms, etc. for group rates. Any contact made resulted in another number or email to try and then no response was provided. After that, we decided to just purchase a party and go that way. After setting that up, which they seemed annoyed to do for us on the phone, we arrived. The experience while we were there was pretty good. The employees were friendly, check in was smooth, and everyone had a great time. (A good amount of the attractions were closed due to COVID, I'm assuming, and the two employees had to run back and forth to monitor the stations... not only was it a bummer for the guests, but I'm sure for the employees as well.) Communication could DEFINITELY be improved upon though! After all the frustration setting up the party, we arrived and then were told there was confusion with the party room and we would be unable to get into it until a later time than we were expecting. So we had to just take our pizza to go due to parents waiting for their children at a specific time. Some simple communication could have spared that dramatic experience... the kids thought they were starving having to wait until we returned to eat and not getting into the room. Went there on a Sunday- check in line was so long and took forever- I think only 2 or 3 people were checking in the parties and all customers and they were busy- we got the Sunday funday pass that came with 4 jump passes, 4 drinks and 2 pizzas. Everything was good till it came to the food. They would not give us water cups or additional cups for all of us to share our 4 sodas. So I ordered popcorn and pizza and specifically asked for fresh popcorn- she promised she just popped it- lie. It was so stale and over salted, disgusting. 45 long minutes later our pizzas arrived. We opened the boxes and all the adults look at eachother in horror. This was the most unappealing pizza We have all ever seen. But our toddlers were starving so we gave them all a piece. ( after I had to go back and asked for 7 plates and she only gave me 4 bc that's all they had up front). All toddlers ate less than 3 bites and complained it was yucky. So 3 of the 4 adults tried a piece, ( I did not bc I couldn't get over how DISGUSTING it looked) they all took one bite and agreed it tasted like the cheese had gone bad. So we threw the pizzas away and all shared the stale popcorn. I left feedback on their website on Sunday and surprisingly got a call from a manager Ashley on Monday she left a message saying she could understand my frustration and would be happy to refund my Money and explain the situation and to call her back. So I called her back same day and ever single day that week. Every time I called she was "unavailable" "out of the office" or the phone just wasn't answered. So totally annoyed on Friday I asked to talk to someone else, I was connected with a sales manager I explained I was trying to get ahold of Ashley and she promised a refund and explained the situation. He said he couldn't since he wasn't aware of the situation but said he was going to. All her personal line immediately and I would get a call within minutes bc they care about their customers blah blah blah-lie. Never got a call. So maybe this review will get me a call from Ashley for my refund or maybe from corporate so I will actually get a call. If nothing else to warn everyone that goes there to not bother with their DISGUSTING overpriced ridiculously strict concession stand. Needless to say sky zone has missed out on a lot of money in the future bc we were taking our toddlers often throughout the winter.... Update-- Called again this time to speak to Stephanie. Was told my message would be relayed as she was on her way to a different location and once again, no return call.  Just please refund my money of 129.29 from May 8th. Great place for all ages and birthdays. I took my son here this weekend and he is only one. Their prices start off at $10 for half an hour and goes up from there. Also, you have to purchase their micro fiber socks at $1.99.... adults with kids under 4 can jump with their kids for free, so that's a plus. Took the family there for my oldest son's birthday (15 yr old). It was ok, but nothing spectacular. The AC wasn't cool enough for the amount of activity going on in there. The online prices didn't match the location prices. The website does not make it clear that you have to buy their special socks in order to use the facility. So there's another $5 per person. The VR game wasn't charged and we had to wait a half hour for the goggles to charge. It just wasn't a great experience. Also, there was completely inappropriate music being blasted throughout the facility. Keep in mind this is a family entertainment venue. During the two hours we were there, we were treated to extremely sexual lyrics and a lot of swearing at full volume. Enjoying a trip to Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Shawnee, on SM Parkway and Quivira for Sarah's 9th Birthday. She loves Wipe Out, and I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while! Matthew, age 10, is LOVING the Ninja Warrior course they now have, and it's so awesome because the price includes all the features except the Virtual Reality Zone. There are no size restrictions for play, which we wondered before we came. We've been here to jump on the trampolines prior to this visit; actually I think this is probably the 5th or so time I've been here. The price is posted clearly on their website what open jump costs are. For an hour, it's $15.99 per person. And like I said, that's for everything - free jump and the Ninja Course, Dodgeball, Wipe Out, etc. I REALLY like the improvements they've made, and sitting here, it's obvious EVERYONE - children and adults alike - are having the time of their lives!!! read more

Came here one weekend during their little leapers toddler hours. While the kids had fun once we got settled, it was such a mess getting to that point. The heat was broken inside the building. This was during the middle of a super cold February. It actually felt warmer outside than inside which isn't saying a lot in sub freezing temps. Then the computers to sign the waivers were not working. When I asked the staff if they could reboot, she told me she had no idea how to fix it. Uh, okay. Then to top it off, it was their black light jump (forget the actual term) where they require you buy a glow shirt to jump. Mind you, none of the staff was wearing glow shirts. They also ran out after 20 minutes of the place being open so then most people didn't have the pay for the shirts. No refund offered. So bottom line, while my kids had a good time here, we will not be coming back to this indoor trampoline park. There are far too many options to come here again. read more

DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS LOCATION!! We were super excited to take the whole family here on a Fri night. It cost $56 for a fam of 4. Within 60 seconds of setting foot on the trampolines, a manager named Jason yelled at me that I could not jump next to my 5 year old son for safety reasons. He then allowed large teenagers (same size as adults) to do wild flips near my 5 year old. Then a second employee yelled at me for how I had displayed my sticker. My 17 year old wanted to go here for her birthday but I couldn't imagine why since my perception was it's just a bunch of trampolines. Hey it's her day though so we went. Well I was pleasantly surprised. We initially went for dodgeball but we were a bit late so the person at the counter suggested we just do a straight hour so they could take advantage of dodgeball and the other areas. After getting our lovely pink socks (it's breast cancer awareness month), the teens and young adults (I had a 19 year old and a 21 year old with me also) started at the regular jumping area. The workers did a good job of keeping the smaller kids separate from the bigger people. I loved that because as a former day care provider, I was really worried about that. They also played on the basketball courts, the dodgeball area and the foam pits. They had a great time at all of the areas. An hour was more than enough time for them to enjoy themselves and get tired. I'm intrigued by the skyrobics which the worker said was low impact so it'll be safe for my knees. I know the kids said they want to go back and I liked the set up so we'll be back. read more

Went here with my church family and loved it. First off, my favorite color is orange, so the socks they provide are awesome. Second off, they have all manner of different sections to keep you busy. I was concerned about going there for two whole hours but it worked out great. There is a section just for bouncing, a place for dodgeball (which they segregate based on age so you don't have poor little children getting beaned by 20 year olds), a dunk zone where you can channel your inner NBA, and a foam pit where you can pretend you're actually good at gymnastics or 'the superman' without worrying about bodily injury. Even as a 25 year old, I can't tell you how super fun it was to just bounce around and be a 'kid'. Admittedly, my ankles didn't thank you for it the next day and while I was bouncing around I realized just how much compression my lower back experienced during the session. I went with 3 other girls, all in our upper 20s. We had a blast! People of the same height all stay together on the big court, so we had a section to ourselves. I would recommend doing the foam pit before you get all sweaty because it is not fun trying to climb out of foam when you are covered in sweat. Basketball was fun and we even played dodgeball with some kids (with some kids getting me out both times, ha). There is top 40 hits blaring over the loudspeaker (which was a good thing), a small concession stand with drinks and food, and sitting areas for parents. You can rent lockers for a quarter (it's automated). I didn't like the bathrooms-- they were really dirty, water and toilet paper everywhere. But other than that I had a great time and will be coming back, possibly to try their trampoline fitness class. read more

My friends and I went here because we thought it would be a fun experience. This was our first time here so we didn't exactly know how everything goes. So went to the main court where they went over some of the rules. For the older teens (my friends and I are all 17) we only had two small rows to jump on ,which was a pain in the ass to share with the other teenagers, so it'll be great if they expanded for teenagers. Ten minutes in, this guy (who my friends and I referred him as Hitler) constantly whistled at us for doing this or that. we were just simply having fun without hurting each other or the people around us. we decided to leave the main court but then we realized there weren't many options for us to do because it was all mainly for younger kids. so we all just left. we paid to stay there for an hour but left 30 minutes earlier. it was fun while it lasted but they had SO MANY strict rules that it ruined the whole thing. I know rules are rules, but it was ridiculous how many there were and and how strict they were about it (also how Hitler was constantly riding up our butts about them as well). It was a nice experience, I wont come back though. This place is more for children/families. read more

Fun fun fun! If you are doing a party I would recommend just getting a jump pass and do pizza after given the uptick in price. Make sure you have the waivers filled out online it helps with the check in and gives your party more fun time. They have dodge ball - very intense esp when the older kids get going. read more
