I had to fill out some info on an electronic tablet for waiver purposes and then paid. Grippy socks are required, we had our own from another play place and that was fine with them. The attendant who checked us in was polite but the one when we left was not as friendly. It was a bit stuffy in the place like the air was turned lower. There was a camp of kids (about 20) that checked in before us and about half of them were screaming an ear curdling scream for most of the time which was unpleasant for other kids/toddlers/parents. I do wish they would have said something over the loud speaker about not screaming continually. I would say the facility is good for 10 and under mostly.

They also had some go kart type motorcycles that were enclosed underneath the playset, but I'm assuming that you had to buy a special pass for those. My oldest granddaughter said there was one person watching the dodgeball area, but that was it. I think they do need more people that watch for infractions of the rules because those infractions tend to get other kids hurt. Also, some kids took over play areas and were on specific cloth swings for a whole hour when their rules when you sign in specifically say not to do that. I would say that the place is more suited for ages 10 and up because there were even quite a few teens there. Also, no one is really rotating the people out for the shorter play passes so the amount of kids just keeps getting larger.

The owner is very nice and welcoming and she is updating and always rotating items for it to remain fresh for clients. They also have new and cheaper monthly fee which is a great deal. It is a nice atmosphere but they do need to remember to keep the music playlist playing as it is nice to relax to. The only reason I gave this location a 4 was because when I first entered the play area it was a complete disaster. There were only 2 parents at the time but they never picked up after their kids and it was hard to find matching toy items as they were everywhere. This is not typical of the Merriam location so it's probably just an issue today. They might want to suggest to parents to pick up after their child once they leave a specific area. I ended up picking the place up because the parents left and then it was more obvious to my grandson and other kids that came what toys there were available in each area.

It's almost a throwback to the Discovery Zone birthday parties of the 90's from the outside, and from the inside for that matter. Once they found the smaller kids area of tunnels and ball pits, the ice broke and the fun flowed out. There's VR machines, bumper cars, trampolines, more intense trampolines, gymnastics style trampolines, and even some sort of fun sky swing thing that looks like it's for much older kids but isn't. Kind of hard to get bored in here if you're between 4-12, I'd imagine. On the birthday front, they had pizza, a private room, and someone dedicated to running the party who did a nice job. For around $20 my five year old can run, jump, and get her wiggles out for HOURS. That's money well spent in my book. We recently had my daughter's birthday party here and I have to add that the team working did a wonderful job. The table was set up, plates, and waters provided, and it was an easy place to gather with her classmates. I've been recommending parties here ever since. The only reason I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars is just because the restrooms could use some TLC. Get that fixed and this is a 5 star children's attraction for sure.
