Eric the Buss Buss

This place deserves a higher rating than 2! C'mon now, what with 4 year vet Eric running this joint always with a smile. He answered all my questions, was patient with us, but fast getting us set up. Eric needs Employee of the Year! Everyone else was nice too, and the vibe was great. Haters are being too harsh.

The space itself is beautiful, and the team was incredibly easy to work with. In the week or two leading up to the wedding, I probably called them 7+ times to coordinate payment, ask questions, make last-minute adjustments, and even upgrade our bar package. Every single time, they were kind, patient, and genuinely willing to help us make everything happen. That flexibility made such a difference, especially during such a hectic period. They were also very accommodating with my family and made the entire process feel much easier than it could have been. And I LOVE that events can go until midnight. We absolutely shut down the dance floor, and having that full evening for the reception was such a huge plus. Overall, Villa Ragusa was a beautiful, practical, and affordable option for a large Bay Area wedding, and the team was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend both the venue and the staff.

My husband and I chose Starlite as our wedding ceremony and reception location and have no regrets…read moreat all! Starlite was actually the first venue we toured and we fell in love with it right away. Raman was the one who helped us from beginning to end and honestly, I don't know how we could have done it without him. Our wedding guest count got bigger and bigger as the months got closer, but Raman was informative, accommodating and helped us not panic. Raman was easy to contact and very responsive during our entire process. He gave us advice for the bar, gave us ideas for where to hold the ceremony, and worked with our coordinator to help with the table placements and room layout. The ambiance of the venue was exactly what we were hoping for. It was spacious enough to accommodate 300 guests and the space is such a blank canvas, we really were able to create our vision with it. The chandeliers and pillars add a beautiful touch. Everyone was amazed since while the outside does not look too fancy, the inside was perfect! The dance floor was spacious and the bar and bartenders were great! Raman was even one of our bartenders that night! Wooo! There were no hidden fees which was amazing. We also worked with Ramsin as the date got closer and he was also very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend this venue. A BIG thank you to Raman and Ramsin for their work to help us have such a fun and perfect wedding.

Birthday girl had a great time exploring, playing and eating. The team were so easy to work with from the email correspondence on my Cinnamoroll themed table vision to day of set up. The staff were super quick & accommodating when they were assisting me with the set up. They helped me string up and put a HBD banner and set up my little one's high chair and way more like help bring stuff in, stock the drink fridge, set out the pastries, etc. They just knew what to do & did it straight away. I was amazed by the speed and professionalism! If only I had this level of set up at every birthday party. Barely any dictation or answering questions was needed. What a hugeeee lift off the mental load! There's a dedicated drink fridge in front of the register that kept our drinks chilled and easy for guests to grab. The food table is nice and long so it held a lot of food & we had A LOTT of food. We opted for the photo package too which was nice because usually being the host means you're too busy to take photos and get photos taken of your family. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your little one's special event! I only wish that this place was bigger so that we could invite more friends to our event. However, being smaller means more intimate events and those who are invited should feel super blessed and lucky to have made the cut!

The hall is stunning on the inside & their decor and choices feel high end and luxurious. If you want your party to feel elevated this is the place! I had a small issue with a setup I was doing and Emik was so kind to help me & truly has a great eye for what she does. My family had an XV party here and as a guest I had an amazing time. The staff here was super attentive and professional. I will be recommending this location to anyone that is looking for a place for their next event after the great experience I had. Options given were clearly meant to help us have a good time and guide us towards what worked best for us. While we had a much smaller event than they could handle, but the owner (Emik) went out of her way to make sure our guests were taken care of during the event and personally made sure even the food presentation was nice. The venue itself was a surprise - very nice inside! Great dance floor, sound and light system. Better than many similar sized venues I've been to. I liked that there was room between the dance floor area and bar to allow guests to mingle easily. Our event didn't include hot food, but I visited the prep area and it was clearly large enough for a caterer to stage whatever is needed (ie, lots of stainless countertops and sinks). I wouldn't hesitate to use them for our next event!

I'm a little late to the party on this but so glad I was able to experience it this past weekend for a 75th bday celebration. What looks like an unassuming store front among all the other businesses is actually set up to be a place you could commemorate your next big milestone. While the actual space was on the smaller intimate side, Max Capacity is 120 guests-- so you can still have a good amount of folks for a party. Did I mention it includes a red carpet? It was rolled out for all of us upon entering and added that extra bit of glamour to match the occasion. Once inside, I appreciated the white walls and black drapes. There were multiple TV screens thoughtfully placed on the walls to showcase the celebrant. Later on, these same TV screens were used to present a slideshow of the birthday gal. Uplighting was laid out on the ground to lend to the atmosphere. In the middle was a mini stage that could be used for anything from performances to a DJ. The backlit black drapery behind the stage also gave cabaret vibes. From the looks of it, you could opt to bring your own catered food and also use their in house catering. For this specific party, they had both. The star of the food was their baked chicken-- It was tasty and fork tender. If I had to be nitpicky, the bathroom air freshener scent was off-putting. I couldn't wait to get out of there and switched to mouth breathing immediately. Other than that, this is definitely a place to consider for your next event.
