This place is run by lovely people and for the most part the employees are good, kind, and do a nice job. The place is very old. They desperately need to close for a week, pull everything out and repaint and clean. The walls are stained, the artwork is hideous, the treatment room is so dirty looking. They have country starts, 90's art tackly tuscan art, random poorly hung free nail art from vendors, etc. Nothing goes together. Whenever I am there I mentally clean and redecorate. I think it would be much more popular if it felt fresh and clean. It's been way too long like looking like this. I had an appointment. Got a pedicure which was wonderful. Last minute (upon their upsell ) I decided to also get a gel manicure. That was a mistake. They did not trim my cuticles and the gel started peeling off less than a week after the manicure. Waste of $35 and now I have to figure out how to remove it myself, I'm not about to pay for removal...I won't be coming back here again unless it's a last resort. read more

I have gotten my nails done here before and it turns out well usually, but the one time I got them done by the manager or store owner, it did not go well. She filed my nails down too much to the point that she filed to my skin. She was very stingy with the acrylic, and when I asked to have coffin shape nails, she looked at me and asked "are you sure you don't want almond?". I thought that was very rude of her. And when I asked her to fix my design, she said no. Having less acrylic on my nails also makes it see through instead of a basic French where it is not supposed to show the base of my nail. I NEEDED my nails done so I did a walk in and got a random person to do my nails. They bamboozeled me and ended up giving me an acrylic fill when they knew I was only getting gel manicures. Ugh...the drill and the commitment of acrylics - now I feel stuck and committed to something I did NOT want. And I feel like they are talking about me in their language when they are doing my nails and they told me "this was better" than gel. I walked in on a busy day. I asked if there was time to do a Mani-Pedi. They told me just one minute. I waited 45 minutes and then they did only my feet and not my hands because they claimed they didn't have time. And then, when I asked about it, they started yelling at me in front of the whole group of people who were in the salon. It was extremely rude and humiliating. The woman then ripped my nails off by digging a fake nail under them taking multiple layers of my nails with it. My nails were so thin after she was done. When I told her to stop and that it hurt she continued to shame me for being too sensitive. The good: they were able to squeeze me in quickly without an appointment. The bad: I got a standard pedicure and my nail beds were absolutely brutalized during the process. I've never had this happen before, but she was pulling and cutting so much of my cuticles I started bleeding multiple times. Two days later, my toes are swollen and in pain. It hurts to put pressure on them when walking. The polish has also already started chipping -- not typically a problem at this point for me with other pedicures I've had. I'm worried they will become infected. Sadly, I can't recommend this establishment based on this experience. read more

They work very very fast and are always in a rush. I did my nails twice there which the first time four snapped in the first week and the other time I got french tips that are lifting super badly and are completely different lengths on both hands and not the shape i wanted at all. When my nails were dry enough she just told me to sit on a bench.... no context. When my nails dried you could see that the polish was not well distribute and was messily applied. Also the service was not very good. I was not given very clear instructions on where to sit or what to do. I was sitting In the chair waiting for my nails to be done for 5 minutes before I was attended to. I would not recommend this place. The end-result was decent and they were able to accommodate my walk-in, hence the three stars. However, I have concerns about the cleanliness of this place. The nail technician asked me to sit on a chair for my pedicure, and I saw a TON of nail clippings all over the chair from another client. I then confirmed these were in fact nail clippings by blowing on them and watching the clippings fly into the air. So I kind of just stood there awkwardly until I could point out the issue. When the nail technician finally noticed, she seemed annoyed and wiped the chair for like, half a second with a rag and then proceeded to tell me to sit down. Gross. The chair was just covered in someone else's nail clippings and some of them still remained when I sat down. They could have at least wiped it down for two whole seconds. As i was sitting there looking around, I noticed that there were nail clippings all over the floor in the salon. It seems like they just let the nail clippings culminate over the day vs cleaning them up after each client. It's kind of disgusting to be sitting in a pile of other people's dead skin cells while youre getting a pedicure. Also after they did my pedicure, they removed the towel that my feet were resting on and had my feet just dry on the footrest of the foot basin with no barrier between skin and basin. This is also gross because I guarantee they did not wipe this down after or before me. read more

I had a pink and white fill and the cost was $40 which I thought was a bit much. 1. She cut my nails extremely short 2. The white powder was uneven as well as my nails not being straight 3. Two nails have already cracked. One in less then a week and the other 8 days later. Okay so I went back for a pedicure! Walked in sat down and waited about 25min which was fine. The lady was nice however, when she went to charge me, she charged me for a $60!!!! Pedicure! I went in for a basic pedicure and she took it upon herself to give me a few extra things without asking. I didn't really pay close attention as I wasn't feeling well! I couldn't believe it! Also. They don't use spa liners for their chairs which is gross. They cut the girls cuticle next to me which caused bleeding and they cleaned it with some cotton. So unsanitary. I also watched them clean the pedi spa which was done half ass. Went there on Friday before noon. Last time I will ever go there. Manager had a screaming match with my pedicure lady. They went at it for 20 minutes. I wanted to run but my nails weren't dry. They were rude, rushed me and after paying extra for gel manicure they are pealing off. They lasted less than 3 days. The bummer is that I only have time to get my nails done once every 6 weeks and they ruined my experience. Another thing that really bothers me is how rude they are asking for tips. A few months ago, they were going crazy after my 10 year old showing her she needs to tip her nail lady. I was taking care of the tipping and no need to ask for it from my child.
