I walked in around 5:30 today and the sweetest lady ever, Vy worked on my nails. She took her time to clean up my cuticles and made my nails look perfect! I had an inspo pic and she nailed it! Literally the sweetest lady ever! I'm very happy with my nails and will definitely be coming back to get them done here again.
In love with my Nails! Amy pays so much attention to detail. She works very clean and fast. It was my first time getting a new shape and she was patient with me and talked me through the shapes. Overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend Amy!
Amy does great nails. My previous nail girl used to slop on the polish and clear coat and file my nails crooked. I went to Amy once and she did a great job. Now I have been going there for 2 years and she never misses. My nails are perfectly filed and perfectly polished every time. My pedicures are done by the other girls and I have heavy cuticle growth on my toes which causes pain. I walk out every time with no cuts and no cuticles and perfectly filed and polished toes to match. This is a great place.
Very friendly and accommodating! Meticulous and thorough, appreciate all the time that was taken :) nice shop, great location, recommend!!
The friendliest people you will ever meet! I came in without an appointment bc I had time to kill before my other appointment. I just needed my brows cleaned up and a simple manicure. (No polish) Lisa (the owner) is SUPER SWEET and she took her time waxing my brows and was just an absolute angel. Even though she didn't speak fluent English or Spanish she was still trying to learn and the customers there were all really friendly and carried on conversations despite the language barriers. Y'all when I say this is so family oriented ..! You also cannot beat their prices !! My brows came out looking great and my nails are super shiny. Overall I would definitely recommend ! 10/10
Kim was super nice and friendly! I love how the nails turned out! She made great suggestions and encouraged me to go with whatever I liked
Decided to book here last minute before a trip, since this was pretty close to my job and I could just go after work. I originally scheduled a same-day appointment for just an acrylic fill, but ended up getting a pedicure done as well since they offered they could do it at the same time. My appointment was at 5:45pm, and they were to close at 7 - so I could appreciate that last hour hustle. They went above and beyond my expectations. Both of the ladies working on my nails took a lot of time and effort to get everything perfect. I felt so bad they even stayed an hour past closing to finish. Mai did not hesitate to go right in with the ideas I had for my design. Even as they were about to close, she was very accommodating of what I wanted and painted my nails so well. I'm sure it gives artists a headache to do different colors and patterns on every nail, so I am very thankful she was so willing to do them. Now I'm able to enjoy my trip with fresh unique nails - been getting compliments everywhere I go! :)
I have found me new nail salon! I've had an extremely stressful work week so my boyfriend and I decided to get brunch and get mani-pedis. I shower the nail tech a pic of what I wanted and she looked at it ONCE and never referenced it again and NAILED it! The service was top notch, the salon was clean and staff was so friendly. I got the deluxe pedicure which included a MYCH needed massage. Very grateful to have found this salon
I have been getting my nails done here for 3 years and it's consistently amazing. I always get compliments and my nails are actually very healthy under the dip. I get dip nails with no added tip and they always last me an actual month. I also recommend the pedicures - they pay attention to detail and always do a great job. Here are some of my favorite nails from the past year
I am so happy with the results! Came in on a Monday evening of Christmas week. I booked a same-day appointment for 6pm. Ly & Mimi were the only ones there and it was pretty busy - now I know why! Mimi did an amazing job shaping my nails & getting the gel on evenly. I loved it!! She even fixed two of my broken nails and saved it from needing to be cut off. I will definitely be back. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. It was a relaxing way to end my workday. Thank you Happy Nails!
1) Accepts walk ins-- thank you so much ladies! 2) pedicure massage...AMAZING! I felt so relaxed and my legs were incredibly smooth afterwards! 3) pedicure--on point! So evenly done and nail tech took her time to make them look BEAUTIFUL! 4) Nail techs helped me choose colors and they Listened to me on what designs I wanted (no imposing) 5) everyone was so sweet! I felt like a million bucks! I would recommend to come in earlier instead close to closing time to make sure you they don't feel rushed or pressured, and you have their full attention. Very sweet spot--will definitely come again! Thank you ladies!
I really wanted to like this place because of the reviews but I'm sorry I can't. :( I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure and dip powder and waited an hour for my pedicure. I had a feeling they were short staffed and busy so I said I'd come in tomorrow for my dip. They were like of course no problem! Pedicure was OK. Next day, they called me and I came in. Waited 1 HOUR again to get my dip done and when the woman took off my current dip powder I was dying. I could literally feel my nails (these are my real nails) being grinded to the thinnest and I asked her if she could stop or if it was supposed to feel that way and I'm pretty sure the other clients were noticing too. I obviously didn't scream or anything but holy moly that was painful. Which lands me to the photo. I got my nails done a week ago... and two nails broke already? It's really disappointing to pay $50 to have to go back to the salon again. This would be my 3rd time going but I'm going to a different place which hopefully won't make me wait an hour and not break. Positives- very nice, lots of selection Negatives- wait time is insane, I'm not sure why I scheduled an appointment it was long for everyone, dip nails broke, painful taking off dip

Asked for French gel x. Gel x application was bubbly and def won't last. I asked for my French to be deeper and she told me that would be an extra $5 I asked for the French to be thinner and she said that would make u be able to see through the nail. that's why u do two coats of the base color I asked for the tips to be shaper and they acted like I was being ridiculous... I don't want dull nails?? The other lady working there gave Me a stank look cuz I wanted my nails how I like them ??? The ends r thicker cuz they put an extra coat to do chrome when u can just buff the nail before instead Private nail techs only ladies! Salons just don't know what they're doing unless u don't care about aesthetics as much read more

I've been going here for a while, they accept walk ins and do nail art, and they've done my nails for a number of special occasions and vacations. The work is nice, but not perfect. If you seek perfection, this isn't the spot for you. They do accept last min appointment requests and if you are in a pickle, go head to Happy nails. Lisa and Mai are good nail Artists. read more

I went here straight after work hoping to get in before they closed. I was able to make it at 6pm and There was two people ahead of me. I really needed to get my nails done so I patiently waited. Everyone there that night was soooo nice and sweet and patient. I asked if they had time for a pedi too and they quickly said yes without hesitation. They gave me a full set and pedi and I was the last one out at 7:45. Amy did my nails and was so sweet and made sure I loved my nails. Mai (not sure the spelling but pronounced "my") did my toes and loved everything and the massage and the way she shaped my toenails I loved! Price was very reasonable and I will make sure to come on my day off next time! So worth it! read more

If you're looking for perfection go elsewhere, I was not looking for perfection I just quickly wanted to get my nails done and get out. I'm typically quickly out of here in about an hour for a manicure. The only advice I have for you if you go to make sure that you take a look at your nails under lighting because from time to time I noticed that my French tip has smudges of white throughout the nail. Although they are not very visible at the moment that they are doing your nails, they become way more apparent as they grow out. It was $60 for this acrylic set. read more

I contemplated leaving this review for a few days now, because the nail tech was so sweet, but.... I'm very u happy with the service. Came in for my first full set in years, I use to get them done regularly. I wanted the color acrylic, not paint, in an ombré style. I showed her a photo, and she said ok. At first she did the ombré opposite of the photo, when I said it's backwards she said, I do it different. I had her redo it the way I asked. The acrylic powders are NOT true to the color they appear through the jars, so my colors were way off. She used SO much acrylic and didn't sand/file enough that I ended up with these chunky bulbous nails, with acrylic over the sides of my nail beds. Additionally, 2 nails were crooked ! I lived with them a few days and then took a dremel tool to them myself, I'm still sanding down the layers! Waste of money, sadly I won't be back. read more

By far the best nail salon I have been to on the peninsula. I was referred to them by a coworker after I told her I've been traveling to San Jose from San Mateo just to get full set. Took their time on my toes (ingrown toe nails) and perfected the nail design I asked for. Try them out! You won't regret it! read more
