During my initial consultation with "Coach Mundah" he stated it was going to be the most difficult thing I will ever do in my life. I didn't comprehend what he meant at the time because in my mind I was only concerned with 'losing weight'. "How will this be the most difficult task in my life?" I thought. Now, 200 training hours later, I realize Mundah was spot on about what he told me. I had tried everything to lose weight before. For years I struggled with my weight going up and down, yo-yo dieting programs, various diet pills, gimmicks, and even other trainers. None of those brought me anywhere close the success or results I gained training with A-GAME Strength & Fitness. Training with A-GAME has made a significant impact on my life. I have learned more about what it takes to live the health and fitness lifestyle than I ever imagined. Never have I been involved with someone as intensely passionate, driven, loving, giving, motivating, or highly-organized, as Mundah. One of the first indicators that I was dealing with an elite professional was when he instructed me to complete a series of prep-work, such as seeing my doctor for a full physical to include a cardiovascular exam, and having my blood drawn for my blood type. This may seem trivial because normally you are supposed to visit your doctor before starting a physical exertion program; but to me this was major, as I was not aware my diet should be based on my blood type. This is just one example of many of how Mundah has enlightened me in my new fitness journey, making this training experience the most rewarding. Training with A-GAME has re-directed my focus towards sacrificing, organizing my life, getting into a routine, changing my mindset, and making healthier choices. My journey is really just beginning and although I have made significant strides with my weight loss goals - 72 lbs. in my first 100 hours [5 months] of training! - I still have well over 100 lbs. to lose. Although this journey has been difficult mentally/emotionally, I don't regret any of it because of the results. I am slowly transforming into a new, healthier, and successful woman. I never realized how essential the mental and spiritual aspect is until now. A concept difficult to comprehend when you are stuck in an "obese mindset", as I have been for decades. Who knew I would be there for the next 5 hours. The event was to officially end when people head home. By 2:15am I stood up to leave. I wasn't the only one. There was structure....with writing down our intentions ice breaker game and then there was good food Inside the house. Even though I got there 2 hours after the initial start there was still some food and drinks. Want to open your chakras? There was a chakra breathing demonstration led by Precious MotherLove. Sit down when doing because you can become light headed. Last but not least were the intriguing conversations around the fire pit. I don't think people wanted it to end. There were a couple vendors there as well so bring a little cash or save for something nice. Not to mention....I was relaxing and looking up at the night sky (not often do I just relax and look up!). I guess I just talked about my night but going back to the people I met. I'm following up. They will follow up and I know for sure we will all be back next month with a friend.
