I had to put 1 star because it wasn't a choice. I would've selected negative stars if I had the option. The men that work there kept eyeballing my wife, following us and recommending random items that we had no interest in. We purchased our stuff, which by the way was waaaay overpriced. When we left my wife told me that she felt very intimidated and unsafe and I also noticed the negative vibe. Please, do yourself a favor and drive past this smoke shop. Go to El paisanos. This is my least favorite smoke shop. I've never had a bad experience here, but the overall vibe is bad and not what you get/expect from a typical head shop. Also, you have to watch the prices because some items are priced higher than the MSRP. Also, the younger chubby white guy that works there always seems annoyed when I come in. I come in often to check out new products and buy stuff that I really don't need. Smoking is my hobby, so naturally I like to buy new accessories etc. He likes to explain stuff when asked, but other than that he gives off a vibe that he wants you to leave ASAP so that he can stop watching you and get back to hanging out and stocking. He's more welcoming when he says goodbye. Seriously, the tone in his voice goes up and everything like he's seriously happy to see you go. Haha it kinda cracks me up but then I leave empty handed and that sucks. The last two times I went in I left empty handed just because I didn't like his vibe. Also, when I came in this last time I said I was looking around to utilize the Black Friday deals and the sales rep proceeded to tell me their Black Friday sale had ended at midnight. I had to inform him that the flyer they put out stated the sale ended at 2am. The whole thing just seemed shady AF. The other locations may be cool, but, from my encounters with this location, I have no friggin clue why New Times would EVER list them as Best Head Shop. I'm thinking New Times either hasn't been to this location or hasn't been to any other local head shops, which are really doing some good things. read more

From incense and candles to snacks, drinks and original gifts, to some of the most impressive blown glass pieces I've seen, this is a one stop shop for me. Amidst many closed shops, I was RELIEVED to see that they were still open during this craziness. I have an older aunt that I am caring for and she's been in so much pain due to the stress of recent events that we are all facing and has not been able to sleep. First and foremost, they are practicing social distancing, store is SUPER CLEAN, and at one point even had gloves for all the customers that went in. Only one customer can enter at a time now and all staff members wear gloves and masks. So I went in to find out about CBD tinctures and they carry some of the best stuff out there. Sales guy was super patient and kind and explained absolutely every product to us that we asked about. Left happy with our Cookies Gelati CBD oil and my aunt is able to sleep and cope better at night. Thank you!! read more

On the plus side it's a nice smoke shop. But the girl that works there had a condescending attitude and I feel like shes just a very rude person in general. I bought a new coil and it wouldn't fire so I asked for a replacement and she said no then made me buy another one. Meanwhile telling me it was my fault. I mean I've gotten bad coils throughout the past few years and whenever I take the coil to other smoke shops in the area they are usually very helpful. No matter, if she had handled it in a polite matter I wouldnt have been upset but she was rude telling me it was my fault. Due to COVID, there has been a nation wide shortage of of cleaning supplies including rubbing alcohol. Nearly every store in the valley is out of stock on this product. However for the past couple of weeks I have been able to rely on Sky High to help me out with this issue. Since this is a basic product that is sold almost everywhere, I have never run into a problem while purchasing from this store. However, today I was not allowed to buy RUBBING ALCOHOL because I am 1 year short of 21, the national age to buy TOBACCO products. This is probably my 5th time buying rubbing alcohol at this location, however I guess after the 5th time you need to be 21. I will cut them some slack considering that this is close to a college town, where young workers tend to be lazy and unaware of store policy and more worried about their check, which is totally understandable in times like these. However, the customer should not have to be the one that is inconvenienced by an employee's incompetence of their own policy standards. read more

Kelsey was amazing. I'd dropped my vape (my binkee), broke the mod and the tank. Went to The Juice House to replace them and Kelsey found a better replacement for my mod and a comparable tank...and she tried to find a replacement glass for my broken tank amongst her collection, saved my juice from the broken tank AND found a suitable stand in for my beloved juice. She's awesome, her prices are very reasonable and she's cool as shit. Highly recommend this shop! read more
