I walked in and saw the employee working on one customer, but there was no greeting or any acknowledgment--no "I'll be with you in a minute," nothing. She didn't even look up! I stood waiting for three minutes, then sat down for another five, and still nothing. It was incredibly unprofessional. The whole situation felt so awkward and uncomfortable that I ended up just walking out and leaving. We had gone to another threading parlor for a full face. While we were waiting we observed another lady being threaded too. Tears were streaming down her face & that should have been a red flag. DO NOT COME ON THE WEEKDAYS. I went in for a cleanup Tuesday afternoon from an older woman with brown hair pulled back. It felt like she was taking off a lot of hair. Welp, what I felt was right. I have bald eyebrows. My hair is already sparse and thin, but what can I do. Just have to let it grow out (which hopefully it does grow back) and let other yelpers know to be cautious who performs your service here. I usually go in on the weekends to see the younger woman with long dark hair who has been there for years. I don't remember her name but she's great. I would recommend her. Depending on the day you come, it can get pretty crowded and usually there's only one girl doing brows and the register at one time. Every person has been very capable and knows exactly what I need a quick glance at my brows. I've never specified a shape, but have always been happy what they've given me using their judgment. They usually have check in deals or coupons in the mailers. they also have a frequent visitor card where you get a free brow threading. I've been coming here for a few years now. I rarely have complaints, but just wanted to give a heads up for people who are interested in coming here. There was a lady working today that I've never seen, I assume she's new. Not only was she harsh on how she threaded my eyebrows (I now have a small cut on my left eyelid), but she was also making comments about how such "sensitive skin" that I have. My skin often turns read after threading my eyebrows, but no one has ever made comments about it. She also proceeded to apply the witch hazel to my eyebrows, without asking. My skin is very sensitive, so I always decline after getting my eyebrows threaded. This lady didn't even ask. I still plan on going here, the ladies are usually extremely nice and do a great job. I was here for simple eyebrow cleanup and the lady made my eyebrows very thin and gave it a very bad shape. I was growing them out and specifically mentioned keep it thick and still she went her way without once asking if it looked ok. Staff is friendly and skilled. The services are good. But the owner is a complete crook trying to nickel and dime you any chance she gets!!! Watch out!! I have been getting eyebrow threading done every two weeks for over 20 years. I lived in many different cities and had threading done in countless locations. Never have I ever experienced someone try to rip off and give the worst excuses possible for it. I get full face threading service. This typically includes (eyebrows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, sides, and forehead). Getting the forehead done gives me a headache and since I have hair growth on my neck as a result of laser hair removal gone wrong I always ask the threading expert to do my neck area instead of my forehead. Most places say no problem and they consider it an equal swap and I get the services I need for no extra charge. Some places have written on their menu that neck costs a couple dollars more than forehead so in these cases I have no problem paying the difference. SKY EYEBROWS OWNER IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS EVER TRIED TO CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $10 ON TOP OF FULL FACE SERVICE. Here is the breakdown in prices at Sky Eyebrows: Full face costs $35 Forehead costs $5 (included in full face service) Neck costs $8 (service I want instead of forehead) Based on their price menu I think I should have to pay no more than $38. Makes sense right? Well the owner of Sky Eyebrows told me that if I want my neck done instead of my forehead that she is charging me $45!!!!!!!! Her reasoning is because when you get your eyebrows done it already includes part of the forehead (she is referring to the one line of hair above the eyebrows) so therefore the amount of threading done on the forehead is actually much less than the neck area, and then she goes on to tell me how much hair I have and that it's a bigger job. Maybe if this was my first time getting this service done I would have actually believed her and let her guilt me into paying more money. But if that's the case then how come out of the hundreds of times I've gotten this service done this the first time someone has tried to charge me more than their listed price??? Oh yeah it's because she is an absolute crook!!! She's lost my business. Be careful she doesn't try to rip you off too. read more

I had to make this my 100th review because this place is just so amazing that it deserves to be. The first time I came here was a Saturday and the place wasn't packed at all. Nilab was the only one working there, but she told me and the other customers that she doesn't come to this location often, only once in a while. So, if you want her specifically, or any specific person for that matter, you'll have to call in ahead of time. It was my first time getting my eyebrows done so I really had no idea what to expect. Nilab was very nice and she walked me through the process and on what she was going to do, and what I needed to do. You could feel the pull from the threading but it wasn't anything too painful. The process was so quick that it was all done within 5 minutes. It actually took longer to wait because there's only one of her and she has to go through everyone one by one. She then gives you a mirror at the end so you can take a look at it and point out anything that you might think would need adjustments. When I came here the next time, the experience was pretty much just about the same, except that I knew what to do this time. Nisha was the one who did my eyebrows the second time and she was just as great. She was super nice and the entire process only took about a couple minutes. This time I came in on a weekday afternoon and there was nobody else in there at all. So far, I've always had a great experience here. I always felt welcome here and everyone is very professional. The studio is located in a complex with ample parking which is always a plus. Open till 7 pm - so great for a quick visit post work. They welcome walk ins and when I went the wait was not that bad - just one person before me. The lady was quick ,careful and I had minimal pain while threading. I never go anywhere else but my usual brow place. Unfortunately, they are closed on Sunday's and my brows needed some TLC ASAP. Yelped some places around me and found this gem. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Asila. I sat down we had a little consultation about what shape I wanted. She let me know what she was going to do and was absolutely professional and precise. I loved how much attention she was giving my brows, like you could tell she cared about them. Afterwards, she offered to apply some powder to fill in my brows. Obviously i agreed, I mean who doesn't want their brows lookin on fleek after getting threaded?! Update: I went in this time and the lady that helped me last time wasn't there. I asked to have as little taken off as possible, and the girl said she'd just clean them up. I ended up with 1/4-1/2 of my brows threaded off. She also went in and overdrew my brows for me afterwards and didn't use any ointment like the lady did last time. I went home to wash off the powder she used and saw that she didn't bother to clean up a bunch of hairs that fell on me while she was threading away. I also noticed that on one of my brows, she threaded off only half of the top quarter of my brows, so now I'm going to have to go buy something to fill them in, since I usually only use a gel, but I can't use gel if I have no brow hairs. I spent months trying to grow out my brows and I don't think I'm ever going to get them threaded again. read more
