LaserAway's handling of this situation is unacceptable. I was sold a voucher under the representation that it had no expiration, and I relied on that. Now, I'm being told there is a one-year limit yet the company cannot produce any written policy or terms supporting that claim. WHERE IS THIS SUPPOSED EXPIRATION DATE??? When I requested escalation, I was met with resistance and disrespect by "Mindy Holmes," who claimed to be a national manager and insisted there is "no one above her." She kept saying she is the person and thats it! Who ever made her in charge should rethink their decision. When I first reached out again, it was to buy more packages, but after this treatment never ever!!!! The combination of changing terms after purchase, lack of written disclosures, and refusal to escalate is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the company's integrity. Do not trust this company, I have been getting BOTOX for almost 10 years, I took a break for the last 3 years because I had back-to-back pregnancies. I went into laser away in November 13 and got 56 units of botox in my forehead and crow's feet, after 1 month there was not 1% improvement in my lines, I went back in on december 17th and they injected 56 more units in my forehead and crow's feet... I had almost no results maybe 20% improvement in my lines...... That is 112 units of botox in my forehead within 34 days and there was almost no results, they told me to come back in for a third time and do another 40 or 50 units HELLLLLL NOOOO... I'm pretty sure that actually violates the FDA guidelines on how much you are allowed to inject into one area. Because I have a friend's wedding coming up I really wanted my fine lines gone I went to SD botox and they told me that absolutely no more botox could be injected in my forehead it's completely unethical and so we would have to try xiamen or dysport.. I went with dysport and within two weeks every single line on my forehead was gone. Now here's the real kicker, I reached out to a friend and was venting to a friend I hadn't seen in a long time about the horrible quality of laseraways botox treatment and she informed me that she worked there not too long ago and she quit because they are completely unethical, they water down their botox forcing clients to get double, if not triple the amount of units they would normally get and they skimp and and don't do things by the book to save money She said they are not a reputable or trustworthy company..... It makes perfect sense because why would 112 units of botox in my forehead yield me with no results or improvement in my lines, unless it was watered down botox that was so deluded it was completely ineffective... I'm pretty sure this violates the FDA guidelines and approval for how to use an administer the product and I really hope someone looks into this company's shady practices. UPDATE: LaserAway replied stating they would be in touch to discuss options to continue services. I have yet to receive a call, email, or text from anyone. In addition, it appears Katrina V. who is the one who ignored my multiple requests to discuss my poor results via email is also the one writing these responses on Yelp. Extremely disappointing laser hair removal results. LaserAway is more expensive than other laser clinics AND delivers subpar results. I have paid over $4,000 for 8 sessions of multiple areas and have barely seen any results, max 30% reduction on one area after 8 sessions. They advertise 70-80% hair reduction after 6-8 sessions and do not honor this. The front desk staff and the nurses at this location are all very nice but the only solution that has been offered to me is to buy more sessions. After relaying my frustration with poor results to corporate I was sent a generic email by Katrina V who did not address any of my specific concerns and once again was told to buy more sessions (with the offer of 70% off additional sessions, which is hilarious because that is their standard discount after a package of 8 is previously purchased). I asked the location manager Vanessa if I could set up a call with someone to discuss results and was told to email Katrina with this request, who ignored me and did not bother with a reply. I communicated to Vanessa that Katrina did not reply, and was told "sorry". It's extremely upsetting that after spending thousands of dollars on laser hair removal and injectable services they do not care about making things right. Please, save your money and time and go anywhere else for laser hair removal. I came in for Botox. Instead, your staff upsold me on a $1500 Thermage treatment I did NOT need. I'm in my late 30s, look under 30, and simply wanted a minor lift in my brow/eye area. Before-and-after photos? Identical. Zero results. But instead of owning the fact that your team pushed the wrong treatment, your manager trots out a copy-and-paste brochure blurb defending Thermage... completely missing the actual complaint. This isn't about whether Thermage works for some people... it's about your staff's lack of integrity and basic competence. You don't push a client into an expensive procedure they won't benefit from just to pad sales. That's called bad business. And to the so-called "Business Manager"... maybe try picking up the phone and speaking to dissatisfied clients like a professional instead of hiding behind a canned PR response. A real manager would've taken the time to understand that this was a breach of trust, not an opportunity to recite your marketing script. If I had been sold the treatment I came in for, I'd have spent less money, gotten what I actually needed, and maybe even become a loyal client. As a follow up to my last review, ALL THE HAIR GREW BACK. This treatment process is a scam, it doesn't work. While you are in treatments the hair grows slowly or just grows under your skin (some visible bumps), then after your last treatment they try and sell you a "maintenance plan" that cost just as much as the initial treatments. And I am sure they offer you another one over and over after every end of plan. Don't waste your money. But 1st I'd like to thank Vanessa for being so welcoming and very informative - she definitely helped me make the leap in booking the series of appointments. This place is really cool. Everyone is extremely nice and their office is very clean. I got coolsculpting here yesterday and had a great experience. The reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is because I don't think this company set proper expectations. I am a RN myself and I understand how important it is for patients to be aware of what they are getting into. I had the diamond abs coolsculpting treatment yesterdays and have to say.. IT HURT SO BAD. You do go numb after the first 5 minutes of each section, but each section gets worse and worse because they over lap. And each section takes 35 minutes, followed by an intense percussion massage over the frozen area. When I asked about this procedure, they said it was "a little uncomfortable", but I can easily see how it would be unbearable to other patients. I also premedicated with Tylenol beforehand. I also underestimated how long I would be there, so I got hungry and pretty bored of sitting in the same chair for over 2 hours. Overall, a pretty neat experience. I would just appreciate proper expectations being set from the start. They will call you IMMEDIATELY after you express interest online and do a great job working you up. However, transparency is key. I am not sure if I will get a second round of coolsculpting because it hurt pretty bad. read more

Spent a lot of money on laser hair removal here and it did not work at all. Still have all the hair I started out with.

I went in here for a red spot on my daughter's face. They said they don't work on kids and persuaded to sell me on my similar red spot. I'm an easy sell so I signed up for 3 treatment for $1097. And 2 free facials. On my way to appointment one they call me and say a nurse needs to see you b4 you come in I'm like um. Ok. She essentially up sells to to a different set of 3 treatments which is $1344, Why this couldn't be done at the location instead while I was driving was strange. I get numb. I Do the treatment which hurts for about 45 mins after and still Have the red spot. Treatment 2 and 3 happen and I still have the red spot and no noticeable difference to my skin or appearance ? Then notice my credit card was charged twice. Once for the 1097 Then for the 1344 , I ask them to reverse the charge and they give me the run around. I ask them again in person. Same run around and ask when I'd like to use the 3 treatments I paid $1097 for ? I explain I don't want them. Y'all upsold me. Please refund me. They don't. I have to call my credit card company for the refund. This takes 45 mins. I then reluctantly go in for my 2 free facials (a $600 value they claim ) , the first one was called fire and ice. Again still have the red spot. And no noticeable difference I ask front desk to schedule 2nd free facial they say I don't have another free facial ? Geez Also Before I went into for the free facial they texted me saying I had a $100 credit for my bday. They again called me right before the treatment and tried selling me on more packages. More facials etc. I told them heck no I had a bad experience and they kept pushing. 2, 3, 4 no's. I finally had to hang up. Yikes. High pressure to the max. I've had laser hair removal in a few different areas years and years.....and years ago, so figured it was time to have a touch up, which brought me here to LaserAway. Check-in wasn't anything special...there were a couple of others in the waiting area and I wasn't greeted right away so I was a little put off by that. Once I checked in I was quickly greeted by Nurse Jackie and shown to the room. She asked me about my history with laser treatment and then explained the types of machines they use. We discussed what to except after treatment as well as the "dos and don'ts" of aftercare. She was extremely friendly and thorough. This was a quick and painless process. I have been going there for different treatments eversince it opened at this address. My review today is regarding microneedling. Its an expensive treatment and expect to see some good results. Had 6 sessions but theres gardly any difference. May be 20-25%. The other thing that this place kags is the customer service. Not once not twice but my appointments were messed up thrice. Third time was when I hadthe numbing cream for 40 minutes and the girl came up and said the nurse has called in sickso either you wash your face and go or wait for another 30 minutes for the treatment. I have been coming to this location for several years for several different procedures. Today's experienced was one I have never experienced before. I had may legs l marked up with the white chalk. When done I asked for wipes. I received six mini alcohol wipes. I was having the most difficult time cleaning it off. After using three of the mini cleaning pads I went to ask the front desk if I could use paper towels from bathroom. I had already used 3/6 mini wipes and had wiped about 10% of the chalk. Another employee was walking by and suggested aloe Vera and Vaseline. She took the time to help me by providing me with them. Thanks to her because este was not the one that applied the chalk. I tried it, still will not come off. I finally went to bathroom to try wiping off with paper towels. Wow, that chalk was stuck like glue. I had to scrub for it to come off. I came out with cherry red legs due to the pressure I had to apply. I had somewhere to go and needed to clean the chalk. Never had I experience something like that. No, no, and no. This is the most pointless $500 expense I've ever had. Bought a Xeomin package. They divided it into 2 sessions, approximately 30 units each for the forehead. Firstly, they dilute it out of sight, and it's unknown what's mixed in the syringe. But the result is visibly awful. Skin in some areas is like it's nailed down. The first time, I thought they just didn't inject enough, so I asked for more the second time. But it was still awful. They just told me Xeomin doesn't work for me and immediately suggested buying a new package of Botox. No, thank you. The result in the photo is after 3 weeks post-treatment. read more

It's difficult to pick an accurate number of stars for the review. I have had two sessions so far. The RNs are great and the laser hair removal is working. HOWEVER, scheduling the sessions is a total nightmare. I've received several confliction confirmation texts and emails. When I call to find out what is going on, nobody has a clue and they often give me a third appointment time that I never would have picked in the first place, but I agree to it b/c rescheduling again will be even more problematic. Then, I arrive before my appointment time and sit in the lobby up to an hour waiting for my turn. It's infuriating. If the procedures weren't working, I would bail in a heart beat. read more

Worst experience ever. Went in for a laser tattoo removal. Had to pay upfront $900 for 10 sessions. Went in for my first session, and afterwards decided I didn't want to go through with the other 9 sessions I had remaining. I called them the next day and told them I'm not going to get the rest of my sessions can I please get refunded the amount for 9 removal sessions I have remaining... they continued to say unfortunately we can't refund you due to policy but we can give you the $800 in store credit. After going back and forth they finally refunded me $400!!! They charged me $500 dollars for ONE REMOVAL SESSION!!! They are thieves. The lasers they use are trash. After one session my tattoo actually became darker. I'm mindblown. They state it would take 16 sessions and they need to be 3 months apart... so take few years to remove. I went to this location about a year and half ago and my low review isn't because of the staff, I actually liked them a lot. It's their lasers and the company policies! I spent $4800.00 for hair removal on my upper body. I only needed my arms done and some spotty areas on my back and shoulders which was not heavy on hair at all. I also wanted my hair removed because I would get flare ups in the summer of a skin condition called folliculitus from excessive heat and sweating. I was talked into doing the entire upper body because it was "cheaper" and they don't do spot treatments. I was given an extra session for a special they had, meaning I had (9) sessions for my $4800.00 purchase. Each session requires a six-week gap in between so the hair can cycle back which I was diligently doing. In addition, each session is 90 mins of uncomfortable "shocks" the entire time. Half my sessions the laser was at the maximum setting and the first few were lower and gradually raised to the max. Nonetheless, I went through all nine sessions which took approximately 54 weeks. It's now been about a year since my last treatment, and I decided to write this review to save anyone from wasting their money or at least warned before purchasing any laser hair removal from Laser away. The photos are current and only half my hair was removed and what was left grew in thicker. When I told the rep at Laser away I was extremely unhappy with the results and regretting spending $4800 and wanted to know what my options were. I was told I had to buy another package and that my situation happens but it's uncommon. Guess what, it happened, and you would think if it's uncommon, how hard is it to offer free treatments for those of us it happens to??? Because it really isn't putting the company out if it's a "rare occurrence" right? Not a chance!!! I was told I had to buy another package of three sessions at a "discounted rate" of $1078.65 and it was normally $2397.00. Like I was getting some kind of deal. This place is a big scam and I do not recommend this for anyone!!!! I got a full body laser with the 24 month promotion. I was making my payments on time and everything ,I was very close to paying off my account they called several times to do different treatments with them or if I want to do more laser if any hair is left behind but I said no every time. Last month I realized they hadn't charged me for the monthly fee and I called them, they said that they will try to charge my account, I asked them if they will charge a late fee but they said no because there wasn't any issue. Later that week I received my monthly statement, stating that I will get charged the full amount of the interest because they have terminated my promotion and I have to pay the full amount. I did talk to three managers, every time time putting me on hold for long periods of time and saying that they can not do anything to fix the situation and they have a lot of customers like me trying to fix this issue. I have made all my payments on time and wanted to pay it off as soon as possible and now I have to pay 900$ extra in interest because they have decided to end my promotion. I'm sure a lot of people are trying to solve this problem as they know it too so let's all of us sue this company together and teach them a lesson with their false and fraud contracts. For the longest time, I didn't notice the dark spots forming on my cheeks, until my wife told me about it and started telling me to put sunblock on my face daily. Fast forward a year or more and still not putting sunblock. She says you should get laser, and I'm like, no way! Crazy! After reading more about the procedures, looking at multiple businesses, we decided to go with our local 4S LaserAway. Got consulted in a few minutes, got some facial creams, and paid in full for Clear & Bright sessions for me and my wife. Big difference after using the morning/night creams and the first laser session! I have a few more to go and cant wait until it is complete. Nurses and folks working at this location are first class and very nice! Prices are comparable and location to me is perfect for where we live.
