I absolutely love Vanessa! I've been going to her for my lashes and she always does such a beautiful job. She knows exactly how I like them, they last really well, and I always leave happy. Plus, she's so sweet and easy to talk to. I genuinely look forward to my appointments with her. read more

Don't choose Vanessa for lash lifts. She spent under an hour on them and the lifts are barely noticeable. I had much better results with Anne and Hannah. read more

I've been seeing Anne for over a year. She's very professional, always on time, and quick too. My lashes stay on for a long time and they always turn out great! I also appreciate that she listens to what I want and helps me decide what style will look best for my features. Her, and all the technicians there are kind and sweet. read more

Really disappointed with my experience here. I've had lash lifts many times before, and this was by far the worst experience. I wasn't told until I arrived that I couldn't get my lashes wet for minimum 48 hours or the perm would be ruined and that if that happened, they would not redo it and it would be 'my problem.' In my past experiences, I've always been told 24 hours is standard, and that light exposure to cold water shouldn't completely ruin the process. The technician was very adamant that any mistake would be on me. Policies like this should be clearly communicated at the time of booking, not sprung on clients once they've already arrived for their appointment. The overall vibe felt uncomfortable and passive-aggressive before the appointment even started, and the employee made it clear she didn't want to be there or do the service. I ultimately left because it felt like they didn't want to work with me at all. What made it even more frustrating is that I arranged childcare and structured my day around this appointment, only to feel like basic communication and customer service were lacking. If you're going to have strict rules and no flexibility, that's fine but be upfront about it and don't make clients feel like an inconvenience for expecting professionalism. read more

Vanessa is a pro! Highly recommend her lash services. She is timely, talented, skilled at all styles, and so personable.

I had such a wonderful experience getting a lash lift and brow lamination with Vanessa! My lashes look longer and beautifully curled, and my brows are perfectly shaped, fluffy, and polished. The entire process was relaxing, professional, and comfortable. I absolutely love my results and will definitely be coming back! read more

Vanessa is fantastic! She does my hybrid extensions and fills. She is alwyas very professional, knowledgeable, competent and kind. She listens well to exactly what I want and always checks-in each time I see her to ensure I was happy with them. I have a retention issue because of eye drops I am required to use, but Vanessa is smart, flexible and patient with how to address the ongoing challenge. The overall customer service of this location is absolutely outstanding!! Very well-run! read more

I have been a lash client at LASHBAR Solana Beach and Del Sur for many years. I have always received excellent care, the highest quality lashes and total professionalism. I always leave totally satisfied with my lashes. My retention is amazing. I have been getting my lashes done consistently for about 20 years and Lashbar is the best. I have never had any issues, but there are times when I've had to cancel at the last minute due to illness or ran a little late due to work and they are always understanding and willing to work with me. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my lashes done. The attached photo is after two weeks and they are still full. read more

I am very grateful for Hannah my lash tech, not only is she good at what she does, but she is personable as well, which is very hard to come by these days when it comes to customer service. I feel relaxed every-time I come in and the place is very calming and most of all professional. It's been quite the journey finding a good lash tech and I am super happy I found this place a long with Hannah. read more

Lashbar - Del Sur - Volume Lashes - Eyelash Service Near Me - San Diego, California

Update: I was contacted by the manager (owner?) to come back in for a fill due to my review about the style. I'm blown away with the customer service aspect on both Ngoc and Allie because Allie heard my concerns and confirmed doing a fuller hybrid style this time. Mind you, the first time was not a hybrid style at all. I mentioned if it was okay to go longer in length since the 12's did not fit right with my eyes. We agreed to go with the 13's, and Allie took me right away and took the time to take off all of my old extensions and applied completely new lashes. This session which I thought was going to be in a time limit of a refill (1 hr-1 1/2 hr) turned into a time slot of a new session; when I found out how the end result was; I WAS AMAZED. Allie did an amazing job with my lashes :) Thank you so much for accommodating me! read more

The service here is friendly, warm, and consistent. I enjoy the compliments I get on the lashes and it's helped me keep makeup use to a minimal (which saves sooo much time and as a result has also been a great benefit on my skincare). Shoutout to my Lash Artist Hannah! P.S. Lash naps are the best. Their lychee champagne is yummy, too. read more

I've been getting my lashes done with Vanessa for a while now. She always comes through with the perfect lash style for every type of occasion. Most importantly my retention is the best with her despite having oily skin. Thank you Vanessa for always taking care of me!!! read more

I got a full set of classic lashes for the first time yesterday. I'll start by saying- they look great. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I was pretty open to the fact that this was my first time getting extensions and I wasn't given any advice on how to maintain / care for them. I had to ask questions and it felt like pulling teeth to get answers. I ended up asking my esthetician later in the evening best practices for keeping my lashes looking fresh. Not the best experience for an expensive appointment. Anyway- they look great but I wouldn't recommend this place if you're new to lash extensions. Hopefully the tips I received will help them look good for a couple of weeks! read more

I walked in and everything was so nice, bright and immaculate. It was my first time getting my lashes done and did not know what to expect but the whole process was very pleasant. The lash artist asked me what style I wanted and I went with her recommendation. When I went to lay down they asked if the pillows were comfortable and gave me a blanket since I was a bit chilly. Super happy with my results and the total experience. read more

I just wanted to take the time to say that this location has some talented lash artists , Audra and Hannah. If management is reading this, please give them a raise they deserve it. As someone also in the beauty industry, I'm a tad bit picky about talent. These ladies both have it. They most importantly have the grace to make clients feel heard about what they want. That's very much valued and appreciated. I also am particularly glad to report they don't play ratchet music . No one wants to hear pornographic music. especially while getting their lashes done. Thank you and I very much applaud this location so far . read more

I have been getting my lashes done with Hannah for many years and followed her from Kearney Mesa and Solana Beach! I was so excited for her to open this location in Del Sur which is the most convenient location for me. I love getting Hybrid lash extensions which for me enhances my lashes and makes them look full but still looking natural! I love not having to do my makeup everyday and being ready to go with my lash extension. I have great retention with my lashes and I think this is due to using the lash cleanser and keeping them oil/dirt/and makeup free! I also use Grande Lash which helps my real lashes grow longer. This last time I decided to get a lash lift instead of extensions and I love that they keep my straight Asian lashes curled even with mascara! I can't wait to continue at this location and can't recommend Hannah and the entire LashBar Del Sur team enough!! read more

Lashbar is my one stop shop for all my lash needs! I have tried many other lash places for my lash needs, but no one does it as amazing as lashbar. I've been getting my lashes done for a a couple months now & wanted to try a new lash place. I came across LashBar on yelp and was able to get an appointment same day. I went for the first time for lash extensions. I was so excited to try for my daughter's wedding. I had an appointment with Ali on Saturday and she gave me the classic style. By Tuesday most of them had fallen out. I went back on Thursday and Ali fixed them again but unfortunately they fell out again before the wedding! I was so disappointed to waste $200. I appreciated the customer service and their attempt to fix the lashes the second time. I don't have extra oily skin and I was careful when taking care of my lashes so I don't know if this was limited to my experience but I won't be returning again (especially considering the $15 lashes worked just fine for the wedding)! read more

I have never gotten lash extensions before and I am so glad that I trusted Hannah to be my lash artist. The entire studio is super relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Hannah also took the time to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way and consulted with me on how I want my lashes done. After the appointment, she gave me detailed aftercare instructions and was open to any follow-up questions I had. I loved how natural my lashes looked but not so natural that you couldn't tell. I have gotten lashes done at other places and the set would begin to shed/come off by the time I got home but not at Lash Bar. My first set last a lot longer than I expected and I am so glad that I came to Hannah for my first lash extension experience. read more

I was so nervous to get fake eyelashes put on. I'd heard bad things and I have seen lots of them I don't want on me. Alli put them on and I love them! They look so natural. My eyelashes are blonde so it's hard to see them and now I don't wear mascara and wake up with eyelashes you can see. I'm going back for my third application with Alli. Super happy with her as I think she does a great job!! read more
