I have had 5 procedures done by Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen was recommended to me by several other Physicians. That speaks volumns. Dr. Chens work speaks for itself. The procedures I had done were pretty serious surgeries. Dr. Chen and his staff made me feel completely comfortable with each procedure. All risks as well as rewards were thoroughly explained to me. Dr. Chen is an extremely honest guy, and will be up front about everything. Every question answered, every phone call returned. DR. chen, Hillary, and Tina would make time for me if it was the simplest of things. Dr. Chen and his staff takes their work seriously and Dr. Chen takes great pride in his work, as evidenced in the end results of the procedures he does. I have been 100% happy with all of the outcomes. The Staff is always very accomidating as I mentioned, very helpful and always goes over and above to make sure you are well taken care of. Dr. Chen has several convenient office locations which make it great for people that are outside of the Joliet area, and works within several hospitals and surgical facilities. If you are looking for a doctor that coddles you & drags things along, then this isn't your guy. I made an appointment for a consultation & they took x-rays. I hadn't had any recently, if you have them, they won't take them again like others might. Dr. Scheive told me what to expect throughout & at the end, the ladies up front told me how much my insurance would pay & my out of pocket cost. I made an appointment for the next available date in my schedule which was about a week later. I paid my portion & had my procedure. My guy & my daughter came to pick me up, & we went home. They called to check on me & see if I had questions. They told me I could call anytime if needed. Luckily, everything went smoothly. I made a follow up, but if you're doing well, it's not necessary. The dentist's assistant was great. She went through & showed me how to really get in & clean my recently extracted areas. She asked if I wanted to see the doctor & I said it wasn't necessary if everything was good. I would give them 5 stars, but my first time there I waited for about 1.5 -2 hours. They had some kind of emergency which I realize wasn't their fault, but I had expected to go back to work. It would've been nice for them to let me know that it was going to be awhile. Also, right before my procedure, I waited 30-45 minutes to go back. I had the day off so it wasn't a big deal for me, but no one likes to wait. I can imagine if you have high anxiety in these situations, waiting probably makes it worse. My follow up appointment was totally different though. I was in & done within 20-30 minutes. Either way, all of my appointments were during the week so I can't say a Saturday would be better or worse. Overall, the experience was really good. Aside from waiting here & there, everything else was great!

I have been coming here from time to time and recently changed my script from Osco pharmacy to this one. The pharmacists are super friendly And they answer any questions you may have. They move quickly to get you out and I do appreciate the drive thru. All in all, not a bad place to stop and grab something if you are in a hurry on your way home. Did I mention 24hrs? Love it!

We picked a rich brown, she applied the color, said she would be back in 15 minutes but returned 25 minutes later. By then, my hair was black. After rinsing and drying, it was so dark, I was upset. She took forever it seemed to do a trim of 1/2 inch, and I just wanted to get out of there. No, I did not complain to the owner or stylist, but I should have; I was just upset, and the stylist knew it. I just need to find someone I can trust and who is experienced. I ended up going home and finding a product online that would strip out color gently, and after 3 applications of this product, my hair looked medium brown again instead of black. So disappointed in this local salon; maybe they should monitor or mentor their new hires better. I had gone here before for a trim with a different stylist, and she did do a good job, but she is part-time and is hard to schedule with.

From the time I first walked into the exam room I was treated with empathy and respect. Being prepped by PA Megan a 16 year associate of Dr. Bhatia was wonderful. Dr. Bhatia was amazing. He was kind and explained every step of the way what procedure they were going to do. He talked to me throughout the entire process to keep my nerves at bay. I was bandaged and sent to the waiting room for over 2 hours while the first layer was examined. Then it was back for round two. This time NA Faith was assisting. She was great and gentle reassuring me the whole time. Another layer and again I was bandaged and back to the waiting room for more tissue to be diagnosed this time about 1 1/4 hours. Back to the exam room with NA Faith where I was pronounced cancer free!! Now more fun by younger Dr. Bhatia no relation who is interning who applied several layers of skin graft. Might as well double it up since he said it was very expensive. It was a precision job to do it but it's in place. Then the final bandaging by NA Faith with an appointment back to my Podiatrist for possible plastic surgery. They advise you that you will be spending the day there. 7 hours later they were correct. I left the office with love and respect for everyone that was part of my team. I more than ever agree that 5 stars aren't enough for the wonderful care I received.
